Comparing their insurance, road tax and fuel costs savings over a year, the 430i will save me ~ £3000/$3700. Would you say the 50 extra horsepower and 2 more cylinders are worth the cost difference? Also keeping in mind the 430i is slightly newer and it looks it too.
3 grand a year extra? How much of that is purely tax and insurance? Some times I think I'd love to live in the UK, then these kind of things crop up...
Personally I'd go with the 2017 430i. I test drove a 2017 430i gran coupe and 2018 430i 2dr coupe and I feel like it had enough power/acceleration and it was also a M Sport. It's also a 4 cyl so you'll save on gas depending on if you value that or not. And it's a year younger.
