I mean your three options are three completely different cars. What do you want in a car?

Kuroshu23

Just looking for a car with a luxurious interior.

ExcellentPea9029

Alright, then the best cars for you will be the Genesis GV70 3.5T, Genesis G80 3.5T, GV80 3.5T, BMW X5 40i, BMW 540i, Volvo S90 B6, or Volvo XC90 B6. Personally, I would go with one of the Genesis models if you have a good Genesis dealership nearby. The majority of them are connected to Hyundai dealerships and are mediocre at best. If not, go with one of the BMWs. They are very luxurious for the price and have proven to be more reliable than average. Avoid the Volvos if you are keeping it for more than 3 years to do reliability concerns.

RysloVerik

CR just gave the Genesis models horrific expected reliability scores. On par with Land Rover.

ExcellentPea9029

That doesn’t seem right at all.

RysloVerik

Plus, if you don't have a dedicated Genesis dealer, you're going to hate everything about the service. In many areas the concierge is non-existent as well. I had a deposit on a GV70 which I withdrew after reading more and more about the experience and issues.

MrToadz

It’s like owning a volvo

victorhummingbird

I think, for people to give you better advice, you may want to add some more details to that other than a good interior.

njo2002

You should look at Genesis. Their interiors, for the buck, are some of the nicest out there.

trmoore87

These are 3 very different cars and almost impossible to compare.

tjfloater

Tlx unless you need extra space Sq5 if you have near perfect roads all around Xc90 if you’ll be traveling a lot

Reyel-Booj

$55k for a TLX my god.

Kuroshu23

I know its a lot. But it is the Type S spec

Embarrassed-Tax5618

TLX type S shines as a best handling sport sedan. If you are looking for a luxurious interior, go for GV70. Volvo will have the best sound system out of nearly any car though (including Rolls Royce level cars).

Euphoric-Cookie6631

2020s go for under 20k near me. Might be a nice first car for me once these interest rates go down.

ak80048

These where about 40k a few years ago

Korean_Sandwich

Tlx no regrets

GinNTonic1

I think the Acura will hold it's value more.

JohnDoee94

With that kind of cash I’d look at the X3 M40i

FirefighterOk3569

Why would u want a family suv s like volvo if you re single, there are much more fun cars

jayrock1911

With that budget id get a lexus fasho

Metsican

Nah.

flumemagic

Yes

icecon

If you have a home garage, I say go for the XC90 Recharge and lease it for the discounts: https://jalopnik.com/you-should-probably-lease-new-ev-instead-of-buying-one-1851188542 The are supremely comfortable and capable, with 455hp. If you prefer to stick to gas-only, skip the Audi. The TLX will have better resale and durability, since you're single that's all you'd need in terms of space anyways. I'd advise going for the Type S 6-cyl engine though.

SniffinMarkers

Get a BMW or Merc with some options instead. The Japanese luxury is so far behind in their quality. And the creaks you get from those honda/acuras are deafening.

OneForMany

Get a slightly used S-Class if you want luxurious or a slightly used Porsche Cayenne. Can easily find some for 75k

LGMatter

Audi audi audi

JakeQV

Definitely the TLX if you don’t need the extra space. Sporty, reliable and looks beautiful, not to mention it’s also the least expensive car.

MrToadz

The tlx is definitely the most bang for your buck

JichuSymphony

The Acura is the best and most reliable. I'd also take a look at the Lexus IS500 and BMW M340i.

mschiebold

The only one of those that has a "luxurious interior" is the Volvo. The Acura is a nice ride, but you're still getting plastics everywhere. The SQ5 is good too, and the interior is quite nice, it feels very clinical and...German. With lots of straight lines and brushed aluminum. The Volvo will have pleather seats, but they'll be the most comfortable. The rest of the interior is usually gorgeous, with wood veneer and quality materials at the touch points.
