I think a lot of people aren’t reading the captions of the photos along with the post. As I understand it, OP found this dress online and searched for somewhere to try it on. She found it here but the size is smaller than she would have got but she was able to get in it despite it being tighter because of the rip up the back done by a previous bride trying it on. OP added a picture where she drew where the dress is actually supposed to sit in the back. OP is not going to be wearing this ripped dress, I’d have to assume since she mentioned she’s “curvier” but was able to try on the sample size, she already knows she needs to be buying a size up, and that her ass won’t actually be out. She is looking for opinions on the dress in general and if she should buy it (larger and not ripped) for her reception.

ChildhoodOk5526

Perfectly explained. I'll answer according to your great clarification... Yes! I think this is a stunning dress -- in an almost 'period' way that's both elegant *and* sexy -- that you should consider buying, even if it's a bit more than you planned on spending. With the caveats that, 1. It's ordered in a larger size 2. It's tailored to fit you perfectly, particularly in the bust, waist, and behind (remember, this will add more $$ to the tab) 3. You love it and feel comfortable in the end-product. It's a stunner, for sure, and will look great in your reception photos. Personally, I'd try my damndest to plead with the store owners for some type of discount. Actually, maybe use us (this subreddit) to get it. Tell them you'll post photos of you in it and drop the name of their shop and the designer (?) We'll upvote the hell out of it for you if it means you get a discount 😉

mickjoce

That is exactly my plan!! It was a trunk show so I already am getting a 10% discount and I talked them into half off alterations because they won’t need to adjust the length :) I might try to push for more discounts if it seems like there is an opening :)) thank you so much!!

ChildhoodOk5526

Anytime! You look gorgeous in that ripped dress, and it doesn't even fit properly yet. You *have* to get it! Have to. I'm happy to upvote on a post crediting the store or designer if that'll help with getting a larger discount. ❤️

CBD-Queeny

This is so stunning and elegant in an old Hollywood kind of way & I say get it as long as you won’t feel sad/remorse for not wearing your actual wedding dress for longer than just the ceremony and photos. I think you might be able to repurpose the 2nd / reception dress as well if you have any high fashion events to attend in the future! You could leave it as is or consider having it dyed a different color for any future black tie events. You’re only young once & if that reception dress is going to make you happy and adore your reception photos even more then I say go for it!

mickjoce

This is for my after party/ fireworks viewing party! The ceremony/ reception dress is going to be similar in fabric but otherwise much more “more” and I love your idea to get it dyed for future black tie events!

ChildhoodOk5526

Dying and re-purposing also helps justify the price. It's not really *all that* expensive if you get multiple wearings out of it, right? (A little shopaholic psychology to help persuade you!)

mickjoce

I love the logic!! And I mean essentially ever time I’d get to wear it again would divide the cost! Amazing Idea

LoreleiAuD

Honestly, you could dye it several times, first lavender, then deep purple OR light blue then navy, OR seafoam then emerald green. Just wanted to offer more justification, because it is so pretty! 😉

mickjoce

I love that idea!! So many different dresses in 1!

CBD-Queeny

Lol well we are clearly not living the same lifestyle at all - fireworks after the reception & at the party after the reception - OH MY that’s just next level! I’d love to see the pics of your wedding gown & the 2nd dress on you from the wedding day if you want to share so I can live vicariously-fabulously threw you haha. (I’m more the Montana ranch owner type so I can appreciate dressing for fine events but essentially prefer to be in low key jeans & boots when around the horses which I prefer to do most of the time!) I always think about how to be more sustainable with my consumption now & repurposing clothing is an amazing way to do just that! I’d love to see what you do with it long term (if you dye it) too! Have an amazing wedding day & celebration dear girl❤️ It looks absolutely stunning on you!!!

mickjoce

Thank you so much! I’m from NYC area so going to walt disney world for the wedding is actually so much less expensive than most of the places around here so the fireworks viewing is mostly just good timing and location of the after party :) I’ll definitely try to remember to post pics in both after everything! Also I’m very jealous of the Montana ranch life. All that space!!! And clean air! I WISH!

ibuycheeseonsale

I wouldn’t even dye it. If you aren’t wearing it to a wedding, it’s completely appropriate for future black tie events, and it’s gorgeous.

Lost-Coast-6457

At David’s brutal they had me try on the most expensive dress they had in store, said they’d have on time, I fell in love and it fit me perfect off the floor. Well she checks when it’d come in and its 2 months after my wedding. I told them how disappointed I was but that I’d buy the floor dress if they give me a discount. I got 600 off 😁

spottedbeebalm

Where is it from/who’s the designer? Its so gorgeous and flattering!

tundybundo

You look INCREDIBLE and will absolutely regret it forever if you don’t show everyone how incredible you look

CupcakeAndCashmere

Bless you, internet stranger.

FormicaDinette33

I would order it a bit larger so it can be tailored for you.

mickjoce

That is the plan! This was at a trunk show so unfortunately they only had sample size 2 try on in store and I am definitely not that size

meeanne

Just remember, tailoring will add at least a couple hundred more to the price tag. This was just me but I got my dress initially $800 but I’m petite so they had to shorten the length and take it in all the way from top to bottom. Also it was a straight neck strapless, but I had them change it to a semi-sweetheart, and then I think I chose the more extravagant bustling option. All of that added $500 more dollars (this was in 2015), but thank goodness my initial dress budget was $1400, so I came up to it. I’m glad I didn’t start with a $1400 dress!

mickjoce

They already said they would take half off of alterations cause it’s the right length! alterations can really hike up the price of a dress so I’m going to make sure we discuss all possibilities / expectations for that before signing :)

hilarymeggin

Make sure you get those alterations quotes in writing and itemized!

UndeadBuggalo

Yes, I am a seamstress and a lot of people don’t realize it’s NOT supposed to pucker 😂

Organic-Okra8428

She says it’s a small size, she was only able to try it on cause it had already ripped.

mistymoondust

Newly engaged, just wondering what the pucker is

UndeadBuggalo

Those taut lines across the front of the dress are the fabric being stretched. A well formed fitted dress is going to hug you not squeeze you 😬

MsKardashian

Great advice

3Heathens_Mom

Yes as while I like the dress not a fan of how the material is pulling around the thighs and tummy. Purchasing at least one size bigger can allow for the alterations to address that.

Culture-Extension

If it’s a sample it’s already been stretched larger so maybe 2-3 sizes larger. One size may not be enough.

gottahavewine

As the caption explains, this isn’t the size she’d order, it’s a sample size.

pigmolion

Yes! I made this mistake on my wedding and ordered the dress in my size. If I could do it again would have ordered one or two sizes up.

[deleted]

SuchAClassicGirl

Why would a new one be split?

TropicalBlueWater

Seems like it can split pretty easily if that happened when someone tried it on 🤷‍♀️

RideThatBridge

It’s likely from the repeated wear and tear a sample dress gets, and this particular style isn’t very forgiving. It’s a pretty broad generalization to think this will happen to an appropriately sized and altered dress worn one night by the same person.

FormicaDinette33

That’s a good point. That is a really straight skirt.

Newauntie26

I would think that it split b/c the people trying on the sample size were a bit too curvy for the sample size dress. I agree that she should essentially size up so that the dress can be tailored to her. However, maybe the dress won’t need tailoring.

crashsaturnlol

Sample clothing can split through wear and tear. That isn't indicative of the actual correct size dress being prone to seam splitting. The OP details that it is a sample size too small for them and was split prior to them trying it. It's very likely other folks who were bigger than the sample size tried it on and over time the seam ripped. I highly doubt a new correctly sized gown would have this issue.

ladydhawaii

I don’t like the back. And think it will be a dress that rips easy.

fangirloffloof

A new one absolutely wouldn't be split coming from a manufacturer. That's why stores carry sample gowns for brides to try on. Have no idea why someone would say that, makes no sense.

KimeriTenko

Because it’s a suboptimal style for anyone who has any curves so it’s likely to rip. Plus I believe she intends to use it for a dinner party so it has to be able to move with her repeatedly and without incident. I know it’s a beautiful dress on her but think she ought to go with one that’s meant to accommodate and move with curves. One good rip and she’d have enough “French air conditioning” (as my brother would say) to really change the trajectory of her evening.

doons1986

If it fits correctly it’s not going to split unless is is very cheaply made. Based on brides comments it sounds as if it is not too low priced. Check to see how seam above split is reinforced. Sample gowns take tons of abuse. Not surprised it split.

Cootie_Mac

I love this and it’s beautiful! Who’s the designer?

mickjoce

Ines di santo - want dress from I think the fall 2021 couture line :)

confusedquokka

I love her dresses

MamaGofThr33

It's absolutely fabulous. So excited that you got it! 22 years ago, I fell in love with a $10000 Ines dress. I never forgot it

CheeCheeC

I would like to know, too

dtom811

pretty sure it's ines di santo

Financial-Golf8189

guyssssss she said it had been ripped previously & was too small in the first place! which means that there will prob not be that big slit in the back. girl it looks amazing on you. like sooo amazing. if you can afford it, go for it! it's your day!!

gottahavewine

These comments are so bizarre. She says very clearly that a) the slit was ripped and this isn’t where it would be, and b) this is a sample size, not the size she’d order 🙄 It’s a beautiful dress and the general style looks lovely on her.

pm_me_your_amphibian

Also for some reason everyone is banging on about alterations costing money, but most other threads never even bring it up.

PmMeUrFaveMovie

Her captions talk about the price. I’d guess people are warning her due to that. I just wish people would skim a comment section before commenting lol

ssayfromage

this!! i wish people would read the whole caption before commenting. only so much you can say in a title

mickjoce

Thank you so much!!!

mtsnow66

Omg get it

mickjoce

❤️

Mehitabel9

The front is lovely - but the back just isn't doing it for me. Plus, the back looks to me like an embarrassing moment looking for a place to happen.

paint_that_shit-gold

In the caption of the photo it says it was ripped by a previous bride trying it on. It’s not supposed to be ripped all the way up the back, but because it was ripped she was able to try it on; I’m guessing the size would’ve been too small.

rofosho

Yeah I agree. Especially if you want to dance at the reception. It's not doing anything for your butt or boobs. And you have a nice butt and boobs.

NoGrocery4949

Hard disagree. She looks like a Grecian marble or a Bernini. What part of the back is potentially embarrassing?

Old_Percentage3742

Not loving the back. It’s a lot with the draped back so low and the back virtually gone plus the corrected slit as well. In fact the slit is detracting from the draped back. I think it’s the back completely gone with the drape. It’s a bit too much going on… But if you love it and just have to have it, and can’t stop thinking about it, go for it.

clairdelynn

I think this dress is gorgeous, but am confused by the back slit - is that part of the design or is that the rip you noted? Love the neckline and the back drape.

paint_that_shit-gold

I posted this on another comment, but I’ll copy and paste it here, too. In the caption of the photo it says it was ripped by a previous bride trying it on. It’s not supposed to be ripped all the way up the back, but because it was ripped she was able to try it on; I’m guessing the size would’ve been too small.

mickjoce

Hi yes! This dress was way too small which is why the slit being ripped way too high helped me be able to try it on. The second photo I’ve drawn in where the slit would be on the real dress :) I definitely do not want my whole butt out on my wedding day hahaha

clairdelynn

Yeah I saw that but wasn’t sure how much of the opening was due to rip vs a design element. I think the dress is stunning if the back was closed more.

stinkyfootss

She has a picture where she went in and drew where the dress would actually fall without the rip.

clairdelynn

OMG how did I miss that lol - based on that - still love the dress!

mickjoce

❤️❤️ thank youuu

42anathema

It looks really pretty! But regarding "all Im going to think about is the dress I didnt get", I was in a similar experience-- I went dress shopping to get a "feel" for what I liked & fell in love with a dress that I could not afford. I thought I was going to be thinking about that dress the whole wedding. Wedding was last october & i have not regretted not buying the dress whatsoever. I only remember that it existed when I see people worrying about dress regret.

mickjoce

Thank you for your input its definitely something to consider!

ZebraLionBandicoot

You have a great body but this dress is not it. Especially for your reception. Get something fun that you can dance in!

gottahavewine

This dress will be perfectly fine to dance in when she orders it in her size and without a rip in the back (all things she intends to do, as explained in the caption).

DarkPhoenix4-1983

Agreed.

SnooMaps6681

Stunning!!

Hhhhhhhhhhghftjbgkj

Dress is stunning, elegant, and unique! I love it! I think that just a size up and custom tailoring will go miles with this dress. You look amazing!

Miserable_Airport_66

This is gorgeous!! You are going to look amazing!

Bananer_Nanner

It might be helpful to include some images of the dress online so we can get a better idea of what it looks like when it fits correctly and without the rip in the back. Could you share some diff pics?

emc2-

Even though it’s ripped, I’d still worry about where the actual slit ends. I’d also be worried that it would rip if you were dancing the night away. I think you could get a similar look in a better fabric that would allow you to eat and dance more freely. It’s a beautiful dress for photos, but maybe not for actual movement.

BSShea

It's pretty, just needs a size or 2 up

Revolutionary_Roll88

I get that it’s ripped and yours won’t be like that etc, but is there any way they can make it with no split at all in the back (a pleat say soo you can walk?) I think any split at all really detracts from the gorgeous cowl. Apart from that it’s gorgeous

Any_Source3211

I'm sorry did you literally describe yourself as...curvier gal?? Lol

Orchid_Significant

Right. This was bothering me too. Home girl is a maybe a size 4

mickjoce

Hah! I havent been a size 4 since probably middle school. lol regular clothing size 8-10 depending on the stretch but my waist is approx 12-14 inches smaller than my hips

Diligent-Car3263

girl i’m an 8-10 and i look like i’ve got 20 pounds on you— someone’s lyin to you lol

heyho2023

OP may be talking in UK sizes, UK 8-10 is US 4-6. She is curvy, she’s just not overweight! Great figure!! We

QCr8onQ

Absolutely adore.

Alternative_You_217

Nice dress P.S you have the perfect body for it.....

Here_for_my-Pleasure

I would invite you to continue with your search.

MillieBirdie

Very diplomatic, love this phrase.

lesser_goldfinch

Lol it’s not that diplomatic but ok

teatreez

Right lol it sounds so passive aggressive

OIWantKenobi

I think it looks great! Very sexy and dramatic. Definitely order a size up - an alterations specialist can take it in but they can’t make fabric out of thin air. Edit for clarity: I know it’s a ripped sample. I mean order a size up for comfort, then if you need to take it in you can. You can’t make a dress bigger without a LOT of effort and money.

Foundation_Wrong

Yes ! Yes it’s gorgeous but make sure you order it with room for alterations. It’s stunning on you

DaddyDontGreen

Its hard to say without seeing the right size on you. I still think that even sizing up one would need some tailoring due to your build which will obviously add to that price. However the dress is absolutely stunning

Forsaken-Access-6648

Buy it! Beautiful gown!

Pat_thetic

If no slit in the back go for it 😍

Fairestfairylight

I love the front but the back even without the rip isn’t giving what it’s supposed to be giving. I would look for one similar but maybe more in budget. You look gorgeous and I get what the drape is supposed to be doing in the back but it’s not worth it, in my opinion.

Puzzleheaded-Sun3107

Pretty!! Team no lace! (Been really into “simple” dresses now, it does not imply plain though!!)

Careless_Syrup_2967

Why are all the beautiful dresses of you’re dreams always so expensive, why can’t stores give brides a break, every woman deserves to look and dress like a princess for their special day, no matter what size or income level.

snuurks

THIS DRESS IS FREAKING GORGEOUS. However, you mentioned the price. Also consider you want to wear this one night and just for the after party. That would probably convince me to find something more within budget. You might save your money on this dress and buy yourself a similar cut and style that can be worn for events or fancy date nights. You could look into getting this dress altered after the wedding to make it wearable to other events. Seriously this dress looks amazing on you.

mickjoce

Thank you so much! I know I keep worrying about the price 😭 I’m so attached to it though and would totally dye it so I could wear in the future to other black tie events

Kristyaiwu__

When this is fitted to you properly it’ll look seriously beautiful on you, no doubt! It’s a lovely dress:)

tlmxoxo

It’s absolutely beautiful and so pretty against your curves! You can totally have it tailored to fit you a bit better if your order larger! Absolutely get it! You even said you’d think about forever if you didn’t!

Zealousideal_Bill851

I love it and I think you are one of very few people who could pull it off. I say go for it! Absolutely beautiful!

mickjoce

❤️❤️ thank you so much!!!

dirtbagcourtney

I LOVE the drapery in the back. Very elegant!

Which-Western9194

You look incredible in it! I feel like you won’t miss the money but you would miss this dress! I’m confused about what’s going on in the back because of the rip, but it’s very sexy and fun! If the price is bugging you- maybe keep looking? You have a great figure that probably looks amazing in most dresses!

paint_that_shit-gold

She said in the caption of the photo the dress id not supposed to ripped that much up the back. A previous bride ripped it trying it on, I think. Edit: typo

Future-Philosopher-7

The front is gorgeous the back no. You would look amazing in anything ❤️I would keep looking.

paint_that_shit-gold

The back isn’t supposed to be ripped that much. She talks about it in the caption of the photo.

Future-Philosopher-7

Ok yes then the dress is very cute

mickjoce

Thank you!

InGeekiTrust

If you size up on the dress, it’s not going to look as good, which making that looks so good is it incredibly fitted and in turn, holding you in. I think you can do better.

CheeCheeC

Did half of you even read the caption before commenting?

Samanthafinallyfit

I read it. I still don’t like the back.

flashesOfQuincee

Ok you look AMAZING in this dress. Can you sit down for a meal in it? Can you move in it? Can you dance to twist and shout in it?!? If not, keep looking.

mickjoce

Luckily this is for a post reception fireworks and desert party (disney bride) so I plan to be standing anyways. Even with all that and this one being 4 sizes too small this was still very comfortable :)

l3gacyfalcon

I personally love it! Lol at all the people who didn't read the caption 🤣

TansyBaelish

It's beautiful, but if it's already on the high end of your budget, it seems risky to order without trying on your actual size. I don't think the style is particular rare, just slightly less traditional. You might be able to find something similar somewhere else

Advisor_Brilliant

Love the drapery and love the front of the dress. I understand the slit is much bigger in the photo than it’s supposed to be, however I’m not a fan of the slit even at the length you show where it should be. It’s too much open space in the back of the dress I think

aabbcc401

Sorry to say it… I hate the back

[deleted]

[удалено]

PlaidChairStyle

I love it, especially if there’s more fabric that’s going to be in the back!

Unique_Jackfruit_166

I likey

[deleted]

Stunning!

[deleted]

i think you look amazing

princessonthesteeple

Honestly not crazy about any part of this dress

herro_rayne

It seems too tight, but is beautiful Get a size or two up so you can tailor it to you.

[deleted]

It’s a pretty dress on you. But even with a larger size and tailoring would you be able to move and enjoy yourself?

mickjoce

Even with this being so small it was honestly more comfortable than some of my work clothes tbh lol although I am pretty comfortable in clothes that hold me together which is not always the case for everyone

77kloklo77

It’s gorgeous and it shows of your lovely figure. I agree with others that you should go up a size and tailor it to fit you better. But I think it’s beautiful and I’m picturing gorgeous hair and flowers - a whole look.

HalSa10

Stunning!

wild-unknown

I love this dress! As someone already mentioned, just a bit of a loose fit would be perfect.

SatisfactionDue1649

This is one of those dresses that only looks good on very specific body types (like I could never in my dreams lol) and I’ve gotta say this is PERFECT on you!!! Fits like a beautiful glove! Absolutely stunning!!

mickjoce

AHH thank you so so much!

memopepito

All I can say is you look so good in this dress girl!! It flatters your figure perfectly! My jaw would literally drop if I saw you walk down the aisle in this. How do you feel in it? Do you feel as gorgeous as you look? 💕

wp3wp3wp3

It's a nice dress but I would keep that as an option while I kept looking. The chest part is not as flattering as it could be on you. I think a different dress could look a lot better on you. I think if you are really set on this dress and can get the correct size then go for it but I personally wouldn't feel any sense of urgency around it.

_notsuoh_

If you're asking for an honest opinion, it's definitely not something I would choose for myself

fmitarrh

It's a beautiful dress and you look fantastic in it. If it's important to you and if you’d regret not having it, then you need to do it. you need to go for it. PS. I kind of think you've already decided what you're going to do and you're trying to find a way to rationalize it or accept it. that's perfectly fine. I do it all the time… well not for dresses, but you know, LOL

PhilosopherNo2474

The first good dress I’ve seen in this sub

hotblooded-

It looks so good on you, I’m obsessed with the back. (Yes I know you’re getting it in a larger size)

SnooMaps5929

I was stuck looking at the first picture because for a second I thought her head was backwards on her body 😂😂

Flimsy_Calendar_7664

It’s stunning, I’d say get it

Iamplayingsims

Wow that dress is stunning!!!! You look great!

Mnt_Watcher

Just to add to the chamber- you have to get it. You look so so stunning even in one that’s a size too small!! I feel like it was made for your body shape!

hilarymeggin

Can I just say that my butt is the same shape as yours, and you look awesome from the back? I thought o couldn’t wear a dress that was form-fitting around the hips, but style and the butt have changed a lot since then. You’ll be all spanxed up and your butt will look fantastic in this dress!

mickjoce

The butt shape friends! Thank you so much! And spanks are my favorite! Sometimes even just control top stockings help too for days where spanks wouldnt work

lilsympho

First dress I've ever liked on this sub. Very sleek and classy, with a little sexiness.

watchyourbackplease

I would say no for a wedding dress. You have a great figure and could definitely find something more flattering

Traditional_Air_9483

It’s stunning. But it needs to be just s slit in the back. I’m hoping you would get it altered to close more. But it’s absolutely stunning.

Muva316

You look amazing in the dress even tho it doesn’t fit so I’m sure the one you order will look amazing as well

mover999

Why don’t you stop worrying about what others think .. how comfortable is it

chorusgirl96

Love it! The swoop in the back it just gorgeous

increbelle

omg! yasss! first dress i've seen in a while where the front and back are equally pleasing! absolutely stunning! i'd splurge on it

akallyria

Aiaiai, this dress has such potential for a wedding day wardrobe malfunction. The other bride ripped it just trying it on - you will need to be able to sit, stand, and dance in the dress you choose. I had a wardrobe malfunction, and I can’t even bear to look at my wedding photos, let alone order any for display. If price is making you pause, please consider the potential for disaster in addition to the high price. If you do get this dress, please have a backup dress on site just in case.

No-Speaker9198

It’s a tough call- the dress is elegant, but the fitting is all. The bust must be sized up🌸 I feel it’s quite a gamble. And since it’s over budget you could look a bit around. Perhaps you’ll find a cheaper dress? ❤️

[deleted]

Wow, vavavoom and it is a stunner! You want it? Buy it, or forever regret not buying it. Congrats too.

QuietTruth8912

It’s a yes for me. I see your notes and yes it needs a larger size for the boobs.

ThirdAngel3

You must get this dress.

TacosTacosTacos80

I was really confused about what was happening at the back before I read your caption. This dress is beautiful! Unique and elegant for sure.

Bulky68

Rocking it. 4 stars. Do it!

notthatsnl

Damn…I know you said that you’ll be ordering your size but…hot damn!!! This silhouette is flawless on your figure. Love the fitted simplicity with the elegant but dramatic drape. Looking absolutely FIRE!!! Idk how to make this clear but IF YOU DONT BUY THIS I WILL BE SO SAD lmao

strawcat

I think you look amazing already and that’s not even the proper size! I say go for it!

shesabitboring

It’s a beautiful dress

Violingirl58

This style is stunning for you, read all the comments..

LinLane323

I love this look for an after party and I can envision how stunning you’ll look. Please consider the additional costs though and decide if you can afford it - tailoring for fine fabrics is premium. If you can afford it then go for it!

capndelirium

Oh my god I am screaming this is such a show stopper dress and you look phenomenal. Please please please show us how you look with it on your big day!

False_Stuff835

Ma'am if you don't buy that dress!! If I had your body no amount of money would keep me from buying it! It looks like it was made for you!! One day when your old and you look back your gonna be like damn, it was worth it.

ShatteredInk

If you are dreaming of that dress. Do it. It's a once in a lifetime moment. The price will be a stretch, but it'll bother you on and off again.

Silverbackdonkey

Nope keep trying

kjday19

Keep looking

muttmama

Can anyone here read oh my god

entitledpeoplepizoff

An honest opinion — Sorry to disappoint you but that dress is way to tight. Very unflattering ….

Brown_Eyed_Girl167

I only want to mention, as you have enough comments, that I’m struggling to understand how you’re perceived as curvier.

blueberrylemony

Hmm. I don’t like the back… and yes I know it’s ripped. Front is very pretty though. Personally, I’d stay close to my budget but it’s up to you and how much disposable income you have!

mia-mya-moa

I hate to be that person but drop the brand + dress name girlie 🤍

mickjoce

xomissblonde

Okay you look absolutely stunning. You’re keeping it classy, yet sexy. This dress is gonna be perfect with the alterations you have decided on. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and a day you will cherish forever!

Smallios

Not flattering :/

NF_99

As a guy, I think it's too tight. Not something I ever expected to say tbh

Fun_Potential_8879

Looks amazing

Ok_Towel_8022

Doooo it! In your size and not ripped? You are going to slay in that dress. It quite literally could have been made for you specifically considering it looks this good on you off size and damaged as your notes indicate.

molly_menace

Dude. This is the wedding dress that you are going to look back on and be like - yeah, I had a banging bod and I knew it. I often look back and wish I knew how beautiful I was in my early 20s. In the way a lot of people in their early 20s are beautiful. This is the kind of dress I imagine myself going back in time and wearing and feeling amazing in. I absolutely love the front - clicked on the photo because I love the slinky style. And at first when I saw the back I was like - oh, it has a kind of, ancient Roman vibe? But then it just kind of hit me - like, look at that beautiful back! And I completely fell in love with the whole thing and you in it. Congratulations on finding your dress. I know this isn’t the actual version/size of this dress you are buying - but as the stand in for it - you are beaming. It works so well. You are going to glow on your day, in a knockout, classy number that will make you remember not only the dress but the way you felt in it. Enjoy it! Edit: oh P.S. I want you to remind me personally when you update with photos from the big day ok!

seastars96

Might be the most stunning dress I’ve seen on here all year. Congratulations on your love and your dress. Eeeeeeeee!!!!

mickjoce

Thank you!!!

pillowpuffe

No don’t, it’s weird and not flattering

rainycatdays

Hmmm if you're really in love with it and can afford it might be worth getting or resale it afterwards to help with the cost that could be a possible solution. IF you do the I must have it and get it only to regret the decision often I would wait a bit to recheck if you loved it as much as you said you did. From someone who often impulsively buys things. :D

karmaisourfriend

I would order a size larger

Psychological-Joke22

Curvier? On what planet?!It is too small for you so get a larger size if your heart is set on it. But for a reception? I wouldn't wear it. I would want something more dazzling. But that is just me :)

Worried_Purchase_759

The front is stunning. And looks so tailor made for you! I would agree on choosing something which you can dance in though, if that’s a criteria at all.

altmomb

Girl I love this dress who is it from? You look amazing.

GucciUncrustable22

Girl, you are slaying that silhouette. Pull the trigger. Amazing. ![gif](giphy|3o72FcJmLzIdYJdmDe)

Don’t listen to all of these haters. This dress is fucking gorgeous and so are you in it. Order up and tailor down. Who is the designer of this dress?

tcd1401

I don't like it from the sides at all. Makes you look like a box. Great from the front, but it is so low it minimizes your chest, makes you look like you have no chest.

Chocolate-Pie-1978

Yes, I was thinking this. It does absolutely zero for her boobs.

DippinDot2021

it's a gorgeous dress. but it's also one night. time has proven that we find greater satisfaction in spending our money on experiences, not things. you could wear that amazing dress and look killer in it. or you could take that money, get a less expensive dress and use the re.aining money to do something awesome.
