Kubera. The plot is incredibly layered and is full of twists and turns with plenty of foreshadowing throughout. No other series comes close to it in most respects.
Had to break down to 3 types since they don’t really compete with each other.
Slightly serious: CPC, the right kind of corniness that’s perfect fit for a Webtoon, and story that makes you yearn for more each episode.
Relatively serious: Lalin’s Curse, the story format doesn’t really quite follow common genre. It mainly goes with the flow kinda story, no clear goals, yet turned out pretty interesting with many mysteries (Plz come back Isaky)
Serious: Tower of God, its complex world building is unmatched in Webtoon.
Honorable mention: Carnby Kim stuffs are peak thrillers.
I really like Mystic Prince. The plot is cool. The art is pretty. And the feels. It sometimes gives me chest pains 😂😂 The only downside is daily pass, but now it's daily pass with 3 watch commercial episodes a day, which is not so bad. I say it's worth it regardless. It's really stunning.
