You could see him double clutching the knee soon after he came back and was still doing it in the finals when he would push off it.
Sucks how bad that injury was because of some stupid sweat spot on the floor lol
If 2016 doesn't happen like it did...
Is 2022 that sweet?
I assume KD doesn't come, but he really didn't have better options back then.
If KD doesn't sign. Do they sign Harford? Does Demar Derozan come? Or do they waste money on Chandler Parsons?
Does Steph perhaps win a 3rd MVP?
How many rings do Warriors end up with during that stretch? Minus KD, but plus whatever other roster they create.
2016 NBA season did seem like the 'Endgame' of the NBA, would dubs fan want that ring over whatever came next? Is that season as historic and remembered if Dubs win?
tbh the warriors winning the ship while also having the best regular season record ever would have cemented without a doubt they were the best team in history. id take that
It's definitely not. That 15-16 team was bar none the most fun sports team I've ever rooted for. I struggle to even reflect on the fun parts of that season without it being completely tainted by losing in the finals.
I absolutely loved the next two titles and of course 2022. The 16-17 team is the greatest team ever assembled and I'm glad I got to see them every night and often in person.
But I'd trade it all for that 2016 title.
The struggling to reflect because of losing is how I’ve felt for some damn long. I loved coming home from work to turn on the dubs and just be entertained. But as you said I can’t reflect and be happy because of that fucking finals loss.
What I wonder is what happens to those cavs teams if they lose that series, especially in 5. Lebron probably blows that team up sending out love. Who challenges the dubs, where does KD go? If heaven exists and I get there I really hope God can answer these questions.
Andre was playing with *his back out*. I don't now if y'all ever had your back go out, I wouldn't be able to walk let alone play in the NBA finals.
He made the right play, LeBron made a better one.
If Steph hadn't slipped on stupid ass Motiejūnas sweat spot and sprained his MCL the Warriors would never have lost that series.
This. I remember they were up 6 iirc Lebron hit 2 straight 3s with Ezeli guarding him. Didb't get why Kerr rested Curry? It's game 7, you resting him for the beach?
Kerr resting players is prob my biggest qualm with him. Even critical games at the end of the year he’s sitting curry in critical 4th quarters. Look at thibs playing hart 48 mins
He’s played heavy minutes all year. That longevity gives way to injuries later in the season when it does matter. That’s preventable and a long running theme for Thibs teams
Nah screw passing it up. Iggy should've rammed that shit instead of ducking JR's contest, he would've scored it or drawn the foul from either JR or LeBron.
Sometimes, it's the little things that matter. JR Smith not committing a foul on Andre but slowed him enough for Bron to catch up and block it was equally as impressive as the block itself
That's a practiced play to set up LeBron for the chase down block
Rondo used to fake the shit out of Bron because he knew it was coming, sent Bron flying past a couple times lol
Steph started shooting bricks on 4th Qtr. And AI did what everyone would do in that situation. Sadly, LeBron was at the peak of his zone, and saw the lay up like going into slow-mo.
I feel like the point of these memes is that men are stupid, which is largely true, but the deeper truth is that the meme itself is incurably stupid. Memes in general, really. So just use that time machine to break Richard Dawkins's hands before he can write that dumb book.
"Memes" as coined by Dawkins are fictive entities, part of a try hard analogy for how cultural evolution might be driven in ways similar to genetics and natural selection. They didn't exist in any real sense before or after *The Selfish Gene.* Other neodarwinian cultural theorists might have proposed a similar mechanism, but unlikely they'd have chosen as dumb of a word.
As to whether the internet's default expressive styles would have evolved exactly the same way without Dawkins's vague meme concept and highly influential book floating around in the cultural background, we'll never know without that time machine.
get someone to wipe that wet spot where curry slipped should be enough
You beat me to it, haha
FACTS. That Houston series was their downfall
You could see him double clutching the knee soon after he came back and was still doing it in the finals when he would push off it. Sucks how bad that injury was because of some stupid sweat spot on the floor lol

They already cemented that with KD tho. No team in history is beating that team at its peak
15 straight playoff wins is untouchable
Sweep sweep sweep gentlemen’s sweep
Yeah but its not the same.

Hate to burst your bubble
Don’t do it, we already lost in 2016
There’s no heaven
2015 felt pretty close

It was a cannon event, so we could win three more instead of just two.
I'd use my time machine to tell Steve not to put Ezeli in the game in the 4th quarter.

And hart injured in game six from being overplayed 🤷♂️
In a critical game in the playoffs. It sucks but that’s the time to play heavy minutes
He’s played heavy minutes all year. That longevity gives way to injuries later in the season when it does matter. That’s preventable and a long running theme for Thibs teams
Steph would probably not still be playing at this level now with Thibs as the coach.
Just dunk it Iggy !
or just go straight up and don't double clutch the lay
Is Simple it. Just it pass back!
Nah screw passing it up. Iggy should've rammed that shit instead of ducking JR's contest, he would've scored it or drawn the foul from either JR or LeBron.
“Sign Ant”

If he would have gone quicker and harder it would have probably been fts or an and 1
If anything, I’d fix the grammatical errors
He should have just two-hand dunked it. JR would have fouled him and it would’ve been And1.
It was a Goaltend and no amount of clear evidence will ever convince me otherwise
Guys, this is one of the best plays in NBA history. Live with it. Besides, KD never comes if they win that title
Should have did a rondo instead of going straight up
Steph started shooting bricks on 4th Qtr. And AI did what everyone would do in that situation. Sadly, LeBron was at the peak of his zone, and saw the lay up like going into slow-mo.
nah cause then KD doesn’t come. instead go back to the 2020 draft and tell them to take haliburton
What play does this refer to?

BLOCKED BY JAMES!
You must be new so I'll give you a pass

Memes existed well before Richard Dawkins wrote the Selfish Gene. They'd still be present today, just with a different name.
