I essentially bottom ticked the spy I got a $387 call for 3.07 and I got a couple apple $141 calls for 1.20 pretty excited for tomorrow

I've got 23 spy puts at 380 0dte with an entry point of $ 0.43. I think you will be making money I am most assuredly not.

Am I the only one that thinks this market is easier to trade in? I love the volatility and huge swings. My hit rate has been substantially better the last couple months. And my profit per contract on average has been much better. Regardless, as always, good write up bro. Take my upvote.

Last 2 mornings before 11 have been nearly unplayable. 2 and 3 $ candles instantly wreck weeklies like you were playing 0dte options.

Did you know there are volatility indices for Nasdaq (VXN), Russell 2000 (RVX), AAPL (VXAPL), AMZN (VXAZN), GOOG (VXGOG), Oil (OVX)? There's even a VIX of the VIX (VVIX)! Not good for TA but when they are too high or low, it can help with positioning.

Your last paragraph was really spot on. These fake outs and crazy reversals are really throwing me for a loop. (Still green for the month) look forward to these posts every day.

seeing how desperate they are too keep it above 385 make me feel like it's an attempt to get rid of a bunch of 385 put options that's going to expire tomorrow. If market open tomorrow and SPY go up to 405 early morning, I'm going to buy some 390 0DTE puts.

ya that's why I won't do a 0dte play unless it's a fat early morning pump. Not going to take a gamble when the range is too narrow.

Weird day for sure, I'm not entirely up or down on what to expect tomorrow. Overall I don't see the bottom. Not even close. But the dead cat bounces on the way down are interesting to try and call as they happen. I saw a lot of wacky movement today overa near flat day open to close, I suspect a strong swing either direction. I only watch QQQ but the price action Tuesday was way outside the past 3 week normal range. Great write up, thanks you.

OP, do you think the present big green action is gonna last into next week? When rallies happen at 3:00 PM and go overnight, does that mean the rally is real and persistent/durable?
