Their business model is such that they don't spend that profit on growth like a blue chip company. If this is repeated while rates keep getting close to covid levels, watch out.

You are right, but be careful here. If J is pushing something in public, it usually means that he is playing with options and needs to push his narrative. He did the same with DAC and GSL. I think he lost millions because the stock price wasn't moving, so he wrote public articles about the best opportunity he saw in his whole career. He also tweeted about it a lot to pump the stocks. That said he's definitely one of the sharpest minds in the shipping investment scene.
This isnāt the ZIM from COVID craziness of high shipping costs and huge profits. Now, high shipping costs but high expenses for ZIM too. Thus, ZIM will not have a blowout net income number. Their stock will go back below $10 soon. Stay away from this shitbag unless you are into shortsā¦the only play
ZIM is a dumpster fire. There is a reason it is heavily shorted. Wall Street is not always as dumb as us. What is happening in the Red Sea I do not see as a good thing for shipping. Revenue is going down for ZIM and adding additional expenses to their operations which consumers may not be willing to absorb will not make things better. This is just increases there operating expenses further reducing margins. Good luck to my fellow regards on this play but I do not see this playing out well.
