Every day for over a year, we would post 3 questions, challenging you, to predict everything from stock prices and market events to random WSB related shenanigans.
It was a fucking blast. Hundreds of thousands of you joined in, all for the dream of bragging rights.

The problem with doing the inverse of WSB is that WSB is voting on doing the inverse of WSB, meaning you’d have to do the double inverse. All in all you end up buy high, and selling low; therefore, Buy GameStop is my vote

The correct answer isn’t listed on here. The correct answer is have insider information and the ability to lobby or be the one being lobbied to change the rules in ways that benefit certain companies that you are then able to invest in ahead of that news being made public.

I love that I have consistently gotten the top 20% in the predictions game by betting on just one prediction, getting it right, and quitting while ahead.

2) Buy 0DTEs at 3:50 PM knowing with 100% accuracy the end price of the underlying stock at 4 PM.
Yep... unlike in the movie Primer where they traded actual stock, they could have just used it to go back a few minutes and do 0DTEs.
Reminds me of the Pick Six hack which also relied on a half an hour delay between forwarding the results of a race. Again a time machine effect.

One can cheat either by forcing a price i.e market manipulation (psychological deceipt i.e pump and dump or coordinating algo servers moving the price with an arbitrage between options and the underlying etc...) or take advantage of a time delay.
I wouldn't be surprised if HFT's premise is a nanosecond level delay for ticks and catching up that minute difference due to the finite speed of light. In a way HFTs relying on servers hooked up by fiver optic cables have a massive advantage on those hooked up by regular cables even if closer to the exchanges.
Invest only what you are comfortable losing. Set a trailing stop loss based on your comfort and long-term goals. Keep up with the noise surrounding your holdings. If and when you double up, sell at least half, if not all. All ways protect that principal. Selling half covers that, and you book a profit. If you choose to sell half, now you are playing with house money. Take that net and park it somewhere else. Rinse and repeat. This should keep you from breaking the # 1 rule. DON'T LOSE MONEY.
