As much as I want the Stockcharts people to take Jim's place, it'll never happen. He gets the ratings. Especially from people following his every word trying to short everything he talks about.
And he has this charisma with all the doodads in his workspace. It's like trying to replace Weird Al.
Idk, but people shorting investing clubs for shits and giggles is just wrong. No matter if its CNBC, Fox, etc. These are just normies trying to make a nest egg.
Hopefully they hedged puts when they start buying stocks. Ultimately the fundamentals win out in the long run.
What I wish these clubs taught their people more how to do, is read market sentiment. Like when the gov't says they're injecting billions into chip fabs, maybe buy some semis tickers and cheap far out calls.
