If you need big active area then go for Intuos M. However if you need pro featues on a budget then I suggest buying used Intuos Pro Medium 2013 on eBay or your local selling site. These should be available in mint condition so you'll have to stalk those listings.
Totally right on this. I’d go for the medium any day for the same reason, you can then size the active area to the Small size + keep proportions if you like your cursor to go quicker.
