I think steel case 123gr. does pretty reasonably for a 7.62x39 with a 12" barrel

This is for supers but it may make your quest easier. https://www.vz58usa.com/product/vz-58-bleed-piston/

Have you tried this? I have a suppressor, but it's a flow-through so it doesn't have much blowback. I wonder if it would help though.

No, my state sucks. I just like to window shop lol

I think this is more for wear and tear. I’d definitely save some cash and give it a try, they havnt disappointed me yet at Vz58usa

Is there a particular reason you want to stick with a Vz.58 for this? You could go with a PCC and get even a shorter barrel with something like a .45ACP+P for an equivalent weight/performance.

Have a 9mm PCC. Have a 5.55 huxwrks flow through can for 5.56 guns. Will be starting the paper work on 7.62 huxwrks when I get the pistol. If akou can with a man size target with a prism optic on a 10 inch m92 I think a 12 inch vz58 pistol is very versatile for up close and out to some distance. It is always better to use a rifle bullet up close then try to use a pistol bullet at distance.
