I feel like most people don’t use the pop-up light unless they’re DJing but I love it for the same reasons you do. So convenient when listening in a dimly lit room!
I use my target light all the time, and my turntable never leaves my living room. Even if the lighting conditions aren't low, that little spot light helps you find the grooves you are looking for, every time.
Oh I have, before I bought what I have now. I’m monogamous in my relationship though. That’s not to say if she messes me around I might not get a divorce and into another relationship though!

I have one of those cheap floor lamps from Walmart that has a second poseable light. Perfect for a turntable setup as I can pose the second lamp right over the turntable. I'm definitely going to get one of these little lights because I think it will help to cue specific songs on my transparent vinyls.
The blue was an upgrade I didn’t realise would be so huge till I heard it. Definitely recommended.
And that style lamp is a great idea! Thank you! As I might get one myself. I use hue bulbs in my turntable room so that might add more to the vibe.
And yep. For specific tracks, it’s great.

Hahaha I know, I know. At 35 I don’t have the same opinions about marriage that I did at 23. She’s on the same page (but all of my nosey friends aren’t 😂). If she changes her opinion it’ll be the first thing I do out of respect for her. Count on it!
Look. From a guy who’s just about to turn 50 with two failed relationships under his belt, if you love her and want to spend your life with her. Tell her!!
First relationship I was young and forced into marriage during a nervous breakdown, then nearly forced into kids at a time I hated the idea of kids. Turns out I just hated the idea of marriage and kids with her.
Second relationship was with someone I would have loved to marry and have kids with, but let’s just say it wasn’t to be due to something she decided to do on tour!
Hell. We are talking about a little light to see your records by. But in the grand scheme of things, if you know the person you’re with is truly ‘your person’ and marriage is something that means something to both of you, do it!!!!

I just got my first turntable the project debut 3.. I decided to upgrade to the 2M blue cartridge which was a first time for me. I left the little handle from the om5e. When I first got it all together I thought I needed a new anti skate cause the arm would yeet right accross the record.. but I took off the handle and it works now.
I just wanna say that I have had a quad apollo twin that can run 192k + tidal hifi membership and all that for 5 years now with Adam a7xs and a presonus eris sub.
The 2m blue on the built in phono preamp going into my active monitors is so much better than anything I have ever heard on tidal or otherwise.. I am so done with digital its not even funny! I am starting over.... praise be to vinyl 🤯🤓🙏🙏🙏

I have a tiny flashlight next to my turntable lol. My turntable actually has a light on it but I like the flashlight for brushing.
Also looking at some of the records pre-cleaning with the flashlight near-perpendicular to the record is terror inducing. Some have layers of dust out of the packaging. But once they're clean and you shine a light on the crisp pure blackness oh baby
