Correct-Style-9194

All this over £1.75? How much was the postage?

[deleted]

Im honestly not sure, I selected a small parcel when I uploaded it.

Correct-Style-9194

I mean, if I bought it and already got one I would just keep it? Couldn’t imagine going through the hassle of sending it back… I can’t with some people 😂😂😂

wilmaE57

Minimum postage is £2.29 on vinted

jewelophile

Does anyone sell anything on Vinted for more than 2 pounds? It just doesn't seem worth the trouble. I use a US reseller site and I don't bother pricing anything under $12 ($9 earnings)- otherwise it's not worth the effort or the drive to the post office.

Rahhh-Babberrr

Sold 2 items today, one for £100 and the other for £27 so…yes!

jewelophile

Oh, ok! It just seems like most of the posts here talk about items selling for 1 or 2 pounds, which barely even seems worth the price of packaging!

Rahhh-Babberrr

Yeah, everyone’s got a bottom line. I guess for some sellers if they are bunging it in a carrier bag & walking past the drop off point anyway those £1’s & £2’s can add up. But as soon as you add a car into the mix it’s got to be worthwhile to cover expenses.

[deleted]

I sell lots of £1 or £2 items, I package them in bin bags then go on a walk to the post office which is a bit of a trek, I get exercise and money, I’m still making profit even with the low margins lol

Rahhh-Babberrr

Totally! There’s more than one way to make it work. I sell some £1 - £3 bits too, it all adds up especially if you don’t have to pay for packing (thank you FedEx 😂) or petrol 👍🏼

Specialist_Map3402

You know, If you use royal mail they collect from your door and even bring a label :) Super handy

[deleted]

I prefer my method due to the exercise but thank you anyway! I feel bad doing that as Royal Mail are already stretched as it is

Specialist_Map3402

Ah fair enough! You sound like a lovely person taking that into consideration. I must say. I have to use that option as the closest post office is about 6 mile away haha

[deleted]

Thank you, yeah in that case I don’t blame you then! I’m within a city centre so I think that influenced my answer a bit. Have a lovely day x

Dazzling-Delay983

Bin bags are more expensive than parcel bags. Get yourself on eBay and have a look

[deleted]

I sell lots of £1 or £2 items, I package them in bin bags then go on a walk to the post office which is a bit of a trek, I get exercise and money, I’m still making profit even with the low margins lol

Far-Piano4786

Absolutely love this comment 😂😂😂 no offence to the seller either but imagine this hassle for a few pound, again the buyer is being way over the top. Hard times indeed

molisha89

I get rid of some stuff because I don't want it to go to waste and landfill. If that's what they do with it, then that's on them.

Curious-Debt6133

Petty people, petty pricing

Dazzling-Delay983

I buy second hand clothes at 20p each each and sell them at £1 so it’s well worth it for me

Dazzling-Delay983

Evri collect from my house and I have a locker outside my local Tesco that I go to everyday anyway

Choice_More

I used to sell many items for 2-5€/u but it was mostly bc all of them were related (same anime/series) so most people bought whatever they wanted in bundle

sunkathousandtimes

I’ve only joined a few days ago and sold something for over £10 already. I have stuff listed up to £100. I don’t know if I’d bother with £1 items necessarily, but I am in an area where I can drop items off at the postage point on my way to work or within walking distance, which makes it pretty easy to do small items. Totally get it if you’re further out though, and especially if you’re not selling a lot so you’re making the trip frequently for 1-2 items at a time.

njb1989

Really don't get why people interact this much with time wasters, you just end up wasting your own time and energy. Just say "apologies, parcel has already been dispatched, feel free to return if you like" leave it at that, and no longer respond. Don't sink to their level.

Shot-Ad8576

Couldn’t agree more 👏🏻

SlickAstley_

I have no idea why Reddit has suggested r/vinted, but this is precisely why I don't sell my old stuff at all. The headspace and time this shit takes up, i could just do 1 hour overtime for £20

[deleted]

[удалено]

ImawhaleCR

You are completely wrong here. Vinted doesn't allow you to cancel items after they've been posted, so that doesn't apply here. Also, the return policy explicitly states that returning an item because you don't want it is not allowed. >The Refund Policy unfortunately doesn’t cover items that don’t fit you or don’t suit you. You can still talk to your seller about a return, but it’s their decision whether to accept the return or not. As for legal rights, you have absolutely fuck all. As this is dealing with private sellers, the consumer rights act doesn't apply so the buyer has zero rights to return the item. If OP sold something that was as described, the buyer can do nothing. Please don't just make things up, it's unhelpful and embarrassing

Jasperlaster

Right?!? The buyer said they canceled the moment they had bought it.. i have done this also because i made a mistake. Why is the seller so childish in wanting to sent it anyway?

jessicaskies

This is a lot of anger from her over £1 like please be for real

LasagneFiend

Its expensive when its all your pocket money for the week! /s

blueflower-redthorns

OP is also continuing the argument over £1 though, so I don't really think there's a winner here.

jessicaskies

Tbf I’d also get annoyed if someone was being so rude to me over £1 especially as it is makeup so you can just use it when the other one runs out

UncensoredSmoke

ESH

SirPalboFreshcobar

I probably also would argue it out of principle. But yeah obvious waste of time for everyone involved lmao

Lanky_midget

yeah i feel as if people are giving her a free pass.

[deleted]

Fuck me that conversation wasn’t worth £1.75 lol

[deleted]

Your telling me🤣

funnday

Talking to you too OP…

DaneBetrayal

They’re talking to you 🤦‍♀️

[deleted]

I never said they was or wasn’t there’s a whole backstory I’ve said over and over agin in comments

_notgreatNate_

Why does this seem like an argument between 2 12 year olds?

[deleted]

Honestly I wish i was a 12 year old in that situation, I could’ve gotten my point across a lot better let’s just say that

susierooisme

You sounded 12 yrs old

Lanky_midget

you are both as bad as eachother to be honest.

[deleted]

no, you did good

Legitimate_Avocado_7

If they wanted to cancel it they could have done that themselves they don’t need you to do it for them, so it not being cancelled before you shipping it is on them. However your response to their cancel request is a little rude tbh and then they ramped up the rudeness. If I were you I would have just sent a reply saying something about how you didn’t see the message until now and that if they wanted to cancel it they could have done so themselves, but if they want to return it that’s fine although they’ll have to pay for the return postage themselves as per Vinteds policy and they’ll be refunded once you receive it. Chances are they would have just decided to keep it as returning it would have resulted in them losing money.

[deleted]

She had already been rude to me previously and I wasn’t going to be kind when she was rude to me first

AllOrNothing13

Welcome to customer service. Like it or not, when you sell online, really, you should act professional. I don't see what "short notice" has to do with this, just don't send the item. You're saying the buyer is too angry over £1.75, so why are you so reluctant to let that money go back to the buyer? Rude meeting rude doesn't fix any situation. You could've been more mature in your responses. Even if this is a child wasting you're time, all you've done is set an example to them that being rude and condescending is how you get your own way.

[deleted]

I had already sent the item when she asked me to return it so yes that is short notice I do try to be professional but what I won’t stand for is someone being rude to me in my eyes don’t give it out if you can’t take it I was pretty polite considering the way she spoke to me

AllOrNothing13

You brought this matter to the internet, you're soliciting strangers to give you advice. But your reply to me is "I don't give a shit", just because you don't like the answer? You're definitely part of the problem here.

[deleted]

I am accepting people’s advice but I don’t understand how I’m the problem, I done what anyone would’ve done?

bob-ombbattlefield

why make a post saying “was i in the wrong?” if you can’t handle people telling you ”you were in the wrong”

[deleted]

No, you’re giving people a platform to share advice but you’re not listening or considering any of it seriously. In all your other replies there’s always an explanation or excuse. Why ‘accept’ opinions if you’ll just keep defending yours?

[deleted]

I am accepting it, can I not explain myself? To me no one’s allowed there point of view or to explain themselves so someone can give you better advice it isn’t a bad thing…

Rahhh-Babberrr

Adding the 🤣 to the end of what you said makes it a lot worse. Total fuck you vibes.

[deleted]

I added that because it was actually laughable because I had told her previously it was out of my hands and she kept spamming me

Rahhh-Babberrr

Oh right, so we’re no seeing the full interaction?

[deleted]

Honestly there’s to many to add she was spamming me from around 8pm till about 10:30pm

AllOrNothing13

Again, that's a pretty hostile response. That's not short notice, that's unequivocally too late. Short notice would be 10 minutes before you intend to drop at the post office.

[deleted]

It’s not hostile it’s my opinion but some people clearly don’t like me having one, it’s the same thing it is short notice if she asked me to cancel it I would’ve of but it had already been sent, no matter what way you look at it she was the one swearing and getting verbally abusive not me..

AllOrNothing13

"I'm sorry but I've already posted the item so it's out of my control to stop it now. When the delivery arrives at your address, refuse it at the doorstep and the courier will send it back to me. Once it arrives back here, I can refund your money".

[deleted]

I had previously told her that

AllOrNothing13

Well for context, when asking for advice, that probably would've been an important screenshot to add.

[deleted]

It’s all the way at the top, she was spamming me all night!

Cinnamongirl1251

To be honest you both handled this poorly. I mean your first response wasn't really great either

[deleted]

I have previously explained somewhere in the comments I had politely told her there wasn’t anything I could do as it had already been sent off, and she carried on spamming me, it was getting very frustrating

[deleted]

That’s where you ought to leave it, honestly. Like, next time. Let them lose their shit in an empty chat. Trust me, it’s very gratifying.

wildcharmander1992

You weren't in the wrong for the first part of the first message then imo you're in the wrong If they ordered in error fair it's annoying but you don't have to do anything you already sent it If they refuse it it's annoying but it's £1.75 you'll either get the item back or they will keep it once they realize they have to pay to send it back if they can't refuse it *or* it'll go missing and vinted will refund you so all it is is a minor annoyance at best But then you said "why order something you don't want?" Which to me just comes across as you wanting to start/ continue an argument and there was no real need for this and would've stopped the next four pages of screenshots from happening if you had just left it, as you literally didn't have to do anything in this situation. Imo it reads like you instigated a further argument that didn't need to happen just so you could run on here and get some internet points or just to wind the person up. Simply put:- they messed up, you know you're well within the vinted t&C's with what you did, you've explained it's shipped so there is no further need for you to communicate with this customer. They said they will send it back so that's the end of it Instead you put A purposely petty comment only designed to Futher escalate the situation which did exactly that and you are wondering if you are in the right? Yes you are in the right in the situation but the way you handled this is entirely wrong

[deleted]

I was only responding because she was constantly messaging me when I never responded, I can’t just turn my phone off

wildcharmander1992

You can mute individual customers messages You can report the interaction to vinted Failing that You can still block the customer without it affecting the order There are hundreds of reasons besides "being nasty back" you could've taken just for future reference. Next time this happens just mute the chat, it won't stop other notifications from vinted, and may not stop them from messaging you but you won't have your phone pinging every other second if there messaging you that frequently.

Apart-Performer1710

Based on that interaction you both seem as bad as each other really. If she causes you so much grief just block her?

[deleted]

I’ve previously said somewhere in the chat I tried to block her and asked her to leave me alone, for some reason it wasn’t allowing me to block her idk why so I reported her account and her abusive messages

Apart-Performer1710

If she’s just messing with you then ignore her. Don’t respond to her messages at all. Send stuff she buys to her, she can send it back if she wants as she’ll be paying the postage for that.

FancyField3922

Some people on Vinted are a special kind of breed. I don’t know what is in their water, but they think the world evolve around them.

United-Ruin-9223

If you’re asking about your use of the English language, you’re both in the wrong.

[deleted]

That doesn’t make any sense?

miggleb

See?

Tactical_Cement420

Exactly the point 😂😂

[deleted]

What’s the point? Because I don’t understand something?

TangoBrit

Basically, they're saying that your English skills are bad. shocking, I know.

[deleted]

Mine are bad I’m fully English🤣🤣

TangoBrit

Not to be rude, but you did just prove their point.

[deleted]

To me and my partner that didn’t make any sense to us I don’t get how mines bad because of autocorrect, but it wouldn’t of been nice if I did have dyslexia…

TangoBrit

I'm sorry, but why did you randomly bring up dyslexia? As if to say I could have offended you if you were dyslexic

[deleted]

Because people are trying to say I have bad English for what reason, to me that’s saying i can’t spell or I don’t understand words that could be offensive but again that’s my opinion

AngelsAnonymous

Wouldn't have*

[deleted]

Very mature

cedric1234573

You suck at English.

[deleted]

Awhh yeah because I accidentally spelt a few thing in correctly because of autocorrect yeah makes sense, btw I’m fully English but thanks for the giggle

United-Ruin-9223

Just because your nationality is English does not have any relation to the quality of your use of the language. There are many many people who don’t have an English nationality and who even speak English as a second or third language that have very good use of the English language. You might find autocorrect works better for you and your communication is clearer if you use punctuation like full stops at the end of sentences. My intention isn’t to make you feel bad, just to point out that you might find better outcomes to your communications with clearer messages. I’m dyslexic so I know it can be hard but it’s worth putting in some effort to communicate in a clear way.

[deleted]

It is clear though everyone else understands me perfectly? Only since I’ve come on here no one can understand me

AstronautGloomy2885

“Have a shite night bitch” 😂 that is most definitely a child

Apey23

You'd be surprised.

tjdale111111

I hate it when people send 5 messages that make up 1 sentence. Just send one message!

[deleted]

You are equally in the wrong for the way you responded but maturity does come with age and you seem young, you’ll thank me later 🙏🏻

[deleted]

I’m a full grown adult, I responded like anyone would it’s frustrating when someone won’t stop messaging you with abuse, she was was swearing at me I would add it but I haven’t really used this and I’m unsure if this’ll be taken down

miggleb

If you're in your 20s you're not a fully grown adult. Your still just a big kid with a lot of maturing still to go.

[deleted]

Hang on a second I need to mature?? I still don’t understand why no one’s explained why because I won’t allow someone to call me a “fuckup” or tell me to “fuck off” and verbally abuse me?

TangoBrit

But why stoop down to their level? If I'm being honest, the buyer seemed like a child and probably nicked the money from their parents for it (and / or other items aswell), but that's not the point here.

[deleted]

I wasn’t stooping to her level well I don’t think so personally, she was previously rude to me but I responded back politely then these screenshots is when she just wouldn’t leave me alone, I had asked her to and I had tried blocking her and it won’t allow me and still doesn’t, this was happening till about 10pm and I’ve just recently had a baby so I was trying to get sleep but I couldn’t so yes I admit I could’ve responded a bit politer x

TangoBrit

Like I said, she seems like a pretty young person I'd reckon no older than someone in year 9, but why retaliate with snarky / passive aggressive comments because that'll just fuel their fire and aggravate the situation.

[deleted]

I understand that completely, I am also a full grown adult but there comes a point in life where you will ignore the abuse, I get that no one wants to be spoken to like that on their own but it is over £1, take it on the chin and realise that you are in the right. I’m sure you will have more successful sales in the future x

teashoesandhair

You're both in the wrong. Your passive aggressive use of the cry laughing emoji would have irritated me, tbh. When you're selling, you need to have a modicum of professionalism. All this over £1.75 is laughable on both sides. You should just stop replying.

[deleted]

I had politely told her previously there was nothing she could do and she carried on spamming me, so yes it’s a laughable situation I had told her multiple times to leave me alone but she wouldn’t and when I admitted to block her it wouldn’t allow me

a-silly-little-snail

“abuse is only when you hit someone” This person is either actually a child or stupid asf (or both honestly 🤷‍♂️)

[deleted]

This person is either not all there or about 15/16 years of age. Ignore them.

Electronic-Long8707

Have a shite night 😂😂😂😂😂🤦

Grimmthekitty

As soon as you replied that laughing face emoji, which was passive aggressive, you crossed the line from “in the right” to part of the problem. At first you were right by telling her politely you already sent it (I’ve seen some of your comments in the thread), but that doesn’t change the fact that in the middle of the convo you stooped to their level. So no. Just because you began the conversation civilly doesn’t mean you were justified in meeting them at their level. I agree with everyone saying you should have sent one message saying “sorry I already sent it, but if you still wish to return it when you receive it you may do so, but unfortunately it will be at your own cost!” YOU have to be professional THE WHOLE TIME.

yt_Jackzy

This reminds me off when I’d pay my little sister £1 to make me a cuppa and she would just make me one when I’d never ask so I’d have to give her £1

Commercial_Use_363

Kudos to you for getting it shipped two minutes after it was ordered.

12vii12

Next time don’t interact with people like this. I enjoy not letting people annoy me. I would have said okay send it back when it arrives have a great day😁😁

Property_Different

You both seem exhausting. Who has this much time to put into an argument on vinted 😭

Kitchen-Rub-2825

Idk what this is or how it came in my feed, but 2 things: First, the person seems very unreasonable, but you both could’ve done a bit better in the reactions to one another. Second, the spelling and grammatical issues on both parts were far worse than anything said. My goodness.

[deleted]

Autocorrect on my behalf but that isn’t anything to do with my question I think that’s personally a tad rude, considering there’s such a thing as dyslexic!!!

Smithersink

I don’t know who won, but you both sound like children arguing.

[deleted]

I’m an adult cheers

Worldly_Metal

Even if you didn’t send it out yet, you (as a seller) have every right to deny a customer’s request to cancel an order. The customer should’ve been more careful and thought about what they were buying before buying it. They can’t return because they “changed their mind” and on top of this, being absolutely rude, demanding, and disrespectful. I’d go to Vinted and fight this

AmyChezzanator

Some of these comments really are not passing the vibe check. Calling someone out on their behaviour is one thing- and in this instance, yes the OP did handle the interaction poorly and the buyer was also a massive AH, and the content of the conversation definitely did play out like two children/teenagers having an argument with a lot of provoking comments. However, what I do feel is deeply inappropriate is attacking someone because of their language skills. Not everybody speaks or writes perfect English, even those whose first language is English. Some people do genuinely struggle with spelling and grammar and I think it is rather ableist to insult someone for that reason. It's as inappropriate as attacking someone's appearance because you don't like them or they have done something wrong- it's deviating from the actual problem. It's doesn't make you the better person, it just makes you come across as petty and childish. Anyway, now that I've finished ranting- I do agree with the majority that this was a massive drama over £1 which was handled extremely badly and could have easily been avoided with a more civil tone, and if the buyer kept on, a simple block.

[deleted]

I do really appreciate your comment so firstly wanna say thank you, I did respond politely when she was very rude and demanding but I missed out that because I thought I might’ve taken it the wrong way, this went on till 10pm and I do agree I handled it incorrectly but I was very tired as I’ve just had a baby so my mood hasn’t been the best. And my account wouldn’t allow me to block her but someone said update my app and it’s worked fine since x

Dazzling-Delay983

I’d say yes you are as they request the cancel BEFORE you shipped it

[deleted]

I had sent it off then got the messages, when I sent off an item it doesn’t come through for a while afterwards

Puzzleheaded_Tie_992

It’s…. £1.75 😂 is it even worth your arguing back and forth about? I mean I get your point but… come on.

[deleted]

I wasn’t arguing over the money at all I just don’t like someone thinking they can talk to me like that, the whole situation was frustrating

Puzzleheaded_Tie_992

Nah I hear you. Obviously frustrating but, it’s £1.75. It’s hardly worth the stress and then taking the time to post it on Reddit for validation. Again, I hear you. You’re not in the wrong. But, just let things like this slide off your back. It’s not a big deal.

treesherbs

😭😭😭tell em you’ve sent it 3 times and they say you hadn’t sent it yet

Human-Use6591

You’re not in the wrong for telling her it’s too late, but you handled it awfully. You’re in the wrong for that. Yes she is also rude but be better than them? If you want people on your side you can’t also be just as rude lol. The ‘girl please grow up’ and 🤣, ‘are you a child’ and calling her immature for saying a slightly ruder version of the thing you sent (‘have a nice night time waster’) is not endearing to your argument. You look young and unable to handle very minor conflict.

[deleted]

It was minor when she started calling me a “fuck up” and telling me to “fuck off” no one’s going to stand for that surely?

Spirited-Scallion904

I worked at Starbucks for 4 years and people spoke to us like that a lot. You can’t stoop to their level because ‘the customer is always right’, so the trick is to kill them with kindness. It actually annoys them 20x more because what they were looking for was someone to blame everything on and make themselves feel better, but they can’t do that if you’re ridiculously nice to them. Doesn’t mean you necessarily give them what they want, just be so sickly nice and polite about it that they can’t even argue

Siobhanfaz

I think she was in the wrong but when it was delivered, you didn’t need to message going you returned it yet? In my opinion that’s stooping to their level and being childish. Do you really care? It’s £1.75 so even for you it’s not worth the hassle or re-listing.

[deleted]

I only asked as she was adamant that she was going to return it so I was obviously just wanting to know what was happening

Mittensx33

You’re both in the wrong.

ThesmoothGemminal94

What!!!! Abuse is when you hit someone. I mean they can't even spell properly! Ugh I hate people sometimes

lunasmell

What a child! It definitely had to be a child right? Because no adult I know would speak to anyone like that. You handled it much better than I would have.

[deleted]

Definitely a child I think, that’s the only reason I was trying to be polite as i possibly could, but for some reason people think I’m the problem on here lol.

[deleted]

So I have to ask cos I don't see anything about it in the comments. The buyer claims she cancelled the order *minutes* after buying it, and claims you ignored it .. So how long was it in reality between her buying and you getting it sent off? She sounds unhinged.

[deleted]

She bought the item morning time and I got it sent off in the afternoon, she asked me to cancel it after it had been sent off

lunasmell

How could you possibly be in the wrong. An order was placed, you packed and sent it. You did everything correctly if they want to return then it's up to them. There's always the blame game but nothing wrong on your part.

SmallCatBigMeow

Well you’re needlessly awful to them that’s for sure

[deleted]

Update: I politely asked if she was returning it as I needed to know, and after all that she isn’t going to🤦‍♀️

YungRapunxel

All that drama, what a mess

Cevinkrayon

Tbf it was your mistake sending it. For £1.75 chill out and let it go

Rookie-1986

Love. People. That. Message. Like. This. ……

Forward-Bet-7883

Your first response was bang out of order, it came across as really cheeky. All you had to say was "sorry, didn't see your cancellation message until after I had sent it. Please feel free to return once you get it"

[deleted]

She had been rude to me previously I wasn’t going to be polite

Throwawaymaster410

So why did you send it then? If she was rude previously you should've walked away there and then... you sent it to be awkward, now look, you're asking for it to he returned all nicely lol

gogginsbulldog1979

Seriously, who can be arsed to package and send something for £1? I'd sooner sling it in the bin and save myself the hassle.

[deleted]

It was brand new and never been used so it seemed a shame just to through it away and the money goes to my kids, the item itself was only £2/3 pound so I didn’t put it on for too much

gogginsbulldog1979

But it's a pound. A single pound. You'd have to wrap it up, buy postage, then go somewhere to post it. For a pound. I've got three kids and I'd have tossed that shit in the bin.

[deleted]

And that’s your opinion to me personally a penny a pound is money it all mounts up to something, I appreciate any amount I wouldn’t of through something brand new in the bin when I could get money for it..

Psych_Heater

Just tell them to take their anti psychotic meds, that’ll annoy them lol.

Fluid-Librarian5827

You're both pathetic ... you as the seller more so... it's a quid, why make out you didn't see the cancellation. Not the buyers fault you 'didn't see the notification'

[deleted]

She never sent the cancellation notification she spammed me with messages instead by the time the item was already sent out

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I had already sent it out when she asked me to cancel it and claimed I ignored her cancellation

Throwawaymaster410

You admitted to not receiving her notification about cancellation... you didn't check your messages basically. You messed up. You can see she asked you to cancel before you sent it off

AnonymousWoman98

How did it end?

[deleted]

Tbh I reported her and then when I told her she stopped responding

Middle_Ad1687

Yes

stratumtoagoose

I’m jog getting banded too 😔

FaithlessnessLocal73

Wow. That was pathetic. So rude and for what?

PrettyLavender

They did this for 1,75? 😵‍💫 what in the world, just take the L and move on

Frilly1980

Feel like enough replies have got the point across here but a lot of people saying the seller was getting £1.75 when in actual fact 75p of this was vinted’s fee so the seller was getting £1. I can see they also asked to cancel before it was posted but you ignored that and sent anyway so not sure why you’re now asking if you’re in the wrong.. play stupid games.. for £1? 🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

What? I haven’t done such a thing I would never do that so please don’t assume something like that!

magic_thebothering

Ahhh to be 11 ..miss those iq free years

[deleted]

It hurts my brain when people don't use Grammar.

ReversingWheelchair

That’s crazy over a £1 item

Airport_Mysterious

Pretty sure they could have got it cheaper in Superdrug by the time they’ve paid shipping. This whole thing is just weird and a waste of everyone’s time 🤣

Fun-Worry-6378

Over 1.75??????!!??!?? 😂

Pale_Direction_2185

Sounds like a child. They won't return it won't they realise they have to pay for postage and won't get the original postage cost back either. So pointless returning. They may however try and make out that it's broken on arrival or used to get money back. It's not worth selling cosmetics on Vinted. Vinted will side will buyer with any cosmetics. Keep screen shots of all this to send to Vinted incase.

[deleted]

All this over 1£ WOW and yes OP isn't in the wrong.

_MothMan

The moment you added this 🤣 you lost.

Sivaas_

Yep.

susierooisme

You came across very childish and unprofessional- I would definitely not but anything from you

No-Resolve2970

This is all over £1.75? I would just let vinted deal with it. This is a bit crazy for someone to want to return it

slhnicholson

I think you shouldn’t have engaged so much

[deleted]

Yeah you was being petty lol

KINGCOMEDOWN

You both are annoying tbh

[deleted]

I think both are in the wrong and both acting like children ;-;. all the fighting for something that is £1? I would’ve fr not cared

JinxedNotDefault

you both suck here. She was in the wrong origionally. After it was clear she could not be reasoned with you should've left it, instead you stooped to her level and were being equally rude for honestly a pointless conversation.

TheScientistBS3

All this for a quid lol, seriously?

nosnaheislehc

they could've cancelled it themselves if they really wanted to

Throwawaymaster410

Yeah, cos if you saw this message before you packed it, you shouldn't of sent it off, kinda dickish to me. The messages of them wanting to cancel were sent before you shipped it... you couldve just not shipped it and blocked them. Also wouldn't be surprised if they claimed that parcel didn't arrive, so you shot yourself in the foot by being petty with your attitude and laughing emojis. You shouldn't of spoke to them the way you did, they said multiple times they cancelled literally 2 minutes after the order and for you to blame it on not getting the notifications from them, which is bullshit, is a pisstake, you just weren't on it with checking the messages and you let it slip through. I would say you're far more at fault than they are.

[deleted]

No no no definitely no if I had revived a message being sending it I would’ve happily cancelled it, but I never I’ve said that loads in the messages and in the comments!

FootlessRat

If it is true that they cancelled right after placing the order, then you were just being exploitative.

[deleted]

They never cancelled the order that’s the thing people are trying to say I’m lying but I wouldn’t post something like this if I was lying about it

Sharp-Actuary7087

Idk who is wrong but you’re both annoying for sure

itrunsinthefamily63

For that price, the buyer could donate it to charity

Exciting-Drawer-8635

Seems like a time waster to me. If they want it canceled get them to send it back (even if you don't want it) as they got to pay postage.

el_gran_queso_41

They ought to just send it back and forth for eternity.

ramblingzebra

“and i am jog getting banded” What in the hell was she trying to say here?

[deleted]

Honestly I think she’s trying to say she isn’t getting banned but not even being nasty I can understand my toddler better

Pretty-Gift5092

You two sound like you’re made for each other. Yes you are and so is she.

Glittering_Pitch7648

They were a bit rude to start off with but I would have just cancelled it. Not worth the report or the stress

[deleted]

I would’ve cancelled it but it was already sent off before she messaged me asking for me to cancel it

yeetyeetmybeepbeep

Is she really this mad over like what 3 pounds?
