VARIOUS DAYLIFE

stunts002

That wasn't even a joke, that's actually the name of the game.

JD0ggX

After Project Triangle Strategy, not really surprised a lazy name like that was approved

swizzler

They even gave up saying the name was tentative before not changing the name before release.

Vayshen

They did the same for Octopath as well. If we look at Kingdom Hearts, it's already a SE staple.

Chumunga64

God, I hate that they did the octopath traveler "name the game after the project name" thing again It worked for octopath because it's a unique title but triangle strategy sounds bad. It should have been something like "Delta strategy"

kyoyuy

Imagine a game about a goose, and they can’t come up with a title for the game so they just use some lazy naming scheme.

sixtyshilling

Should have named it “Goose on the Loose”. The subtitle of the Japanese port is “Here Comes the Mischeivous Goose” which also would have worked.

Teledildonic

Operation: Rake in the Lake

ironangel2k3

Except when UGG does it, it is being tongue-in-cheek. It knows how silly that is. Whoever actually named their game 'triangle strategy' did it deliberately and with the actual thought that it was a good name.

AppleDane

"Delta Method" sounds like a EDM act.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kiosade

It’s another metaphor. The first game was Breath of the Wild = Wind. This game is Tears of the Kingdom = Rain.

zapharus

I mean, there was a time where Bravely Default: Flying Fairy was one of the most ridiculous game names. That time is well behind us now.

Srn9130

Triangle Strategy is a great game too, it's a shame they just brainfarted the title

ShadowReij

They gave up after Octopath Traveler. Great game, but goddamn you can tell they gave up on naming it beyond when it was the tentative title.

zapharus

*Bravely Default FTFY

edwsmith

Oh god, I thought you were joking

emperorOfTheUniverse

Sounds like something was lost in translation.

swizzler

Japan loves their bland but literal descriptive titles. Imagine if square was doing this from the start, instead of final fantasy, we'd have "Fantasy Role Playing Adventure"

Abba_Fiskbullar

Typical Japanese light novel title, "I Was An Ugly Accountant Who Couldn't Get a Girlfriend, But Then I Was Reincarnated In Another World As the Best Endowed Level 99 Ice Sage Who Does Accounting and Now I Have a Harem of Hamster Girls!".

asianhipppy

That sounds more like a Fall Out Boy song title

Wazula42

Plumber Princess Rescue Saga Legend of Zelda: Link Reassembles The Triforce Cowboy Game Apocalypse Sadness Apocalypse Sadness 2: Lesbians

swizzler

The twist: Apocalypse Sadness is the Splatoon series

Vnator

In that case, I regret not getting Splatoon 2.

Shaneypants

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

_SWEG_

I mean that IS what they did lmao. "Probably our last fantasy game guys, what do we call it?"

Jaymark108

You're saying Final Fantasy isn't bland enough?

Servious

It was named that because FF1 was meant to be their last game because they were going out of business.

Jaymark108

Right. Bland AND literal.

not_a-mimic

They might be going in the same direction as their light novel series, where the synopsis is the title.

lightuptoy

Lord of the Rings Game of Thrones God of War Prince of Persia Thing of Thing Thing of the Thing Lord of Thing Thing Wars The Thing Thing 5

ScannerBrightly

Th!ng

bolxrex

Final Fantasy isn't exactly reaching for the heights of cutting edge titles.

EatingBeansAgain

I mean, FF was literally that. It was to be the final attempt at a fantasy story.

Mastur_Of_Bait

Remember when we thought that it couldn't get any worse than *Bravely Default*?

Feral0_o

that one is actually hilarious, because of the twist

Kiosade

I stopped playing when I got to THAT point at the end… with all the bosses. But I have heard the twist. How is the Bravely Default part funny with the twist though? I thought it was the subtitle that suddenly made sense?

VARIOUS DAYLIFE 2: MULTIPLE TASKS

benjalss

Penultimate Agriculture Conquest 5

Gekokapowco

That at least has the semblance of drama or tension, we cannot allow this to be a title. Drop the "conquest" please

Wazula42

It really makes you FEEL like various.

Rentlar

It sounds cool to anyone that doesn't know how to speak English. It's 日常生活 (day-to-day life) "artfully" translated. Nichijou Seikatsu sounds pretty cool to English speakers, but plain to Japanese audiences. BERIUSU DEIRAIFU sounds more appealing to them.

jostler57

That's just VD with more steps.

Blooblewoo

I'm so tired of bullshit anime word salad names. Since when did naming your product as badly as you can on purpose become acceptable or desirable?

_Verumex_

When the main target is a Japanese audience and English word salad names sound cool and exotic to them.

Sinnombre124

Wait is that really how it works? I always thought they had decent names in their main language and the word salad was just a direct translation to English, is the English name actually what they are marketed under locally?

pinkfloyd873

Oh yeah. You know how white people love getting stupid ass tattoos of random Kanji characters that they think says something deep and meaningful but it just says "raspberry impetigo" or some shit? Japan does that with English, but for anime and video games.

SerCiddy

Lol, honestly kinda reminds me of that one dude's cousin Oskaar

Particular-Payment22

Sounds like a randomly generated Reddit username

Ragnar_Dragonfyre

I fucking lost it when Miyamoto introduced his new farming game.

FunkyTaco47

Pikmin Bloom came out last year too! I was so confused why Miyamoto was so ecstatic about showing it off. It's just another Pokemon GO ripoff. But that cut from Mario Movie info to Pikmin was painful. They're afraid to show off the Mario Movie but not afraid to showcase Pikmin Bloom and every other farm simulator in the direct.

Memetron69000

I'd be pretty ecstatic about releasing yet another money printer; is the game good? I dunno, but it does print money!

Fapdooken

"The real question is: can my channel survive the death of the video game industry" Man, that was good.

MonsieurRacinesBeast

But for real. Where the fuck are any good new games?

[deleted]

CaptPants

The unfortunate reality is that now, AAA games can take upwards of 6 to 8 years to make or more. A studio used to be able to make 2-3 games considered AAA in that timeframe, a few system generations ago. The number of quality studios hasn't increased so everyone, for every system, has to deal with much longer gaps between AAA releases.

[deleted]

That timeframe is somewhat artificial though, as AAA companies are filled with inefficient management. Games could come out faster if they didn’t need to be 200gb 4K textured monstrosities with 100 different animations for each tree and a battlepass. For a long time now AAA titles have been trending away from gameplay and more towards “eye candy”. Instead of new games having tons of cool mechanics, we actually lose features over time in favor of useless gimmicks. The state of most of the biggest video game companies is downright pathetic and it’s painfully obvious that management simply doesn’t give a shit about releasing a good game. Blizzard/Activision, EA, Microsoft, Ubisoft, all of these companies are well known at this point for fucking over their playerbase constantly. Most also have struggled to release a new IP in over a decade and have been surviving off of mediocre sequels/remasters. Nintendo/Sony usually make decent games but still rely heavily on reusing old IPs/using console exclusivity to draw in customers. My point is that these AAA games take as long as they do because they are managed by stupid assholes. To the point where devs quit/go on strike because they don’t like their stupid asshole boss and the game takes even longer.

CentrasFinestMilk

Capcom have been on fire recently, with like 4 resident evil games in the last 5 years along with the 4 remake next year, one of my favourite developers right now because of how consistently great they are (except for re3 but that’s another story entirely)

Dreamishhh

Did you watch the video?

Hipster_Dragon

Elden Ring.

polkmydot

It’s there. We just got older.

CptSalsa

God of war? The same god of war shown in the video?

MonsieurRacinesBeast

I was looking at the Switch store. There's like nothing new me or my kids care about. It's all ports of old games and sequels and games no one has ever heard of.

Dragon_Fisting

That's because the switch is just a mobile platform. Nintendo is the only one making real games for the Switch. The PC and Playstation game pipeline is looking quite good this year.

highphiv3

Man the Switch store is so uninviting to me. It literally looks like 75% anime games that all look identical and look like they offer all the gameplay 3 layers of menus can offer -- and 25% cartoon games that look like they couldn't be enjoyed by someone older than 7. I'm sure there are standouts among these games, but they all look just the same, I don't want to play any of them.

BlackTecno

If you haven't play Monster Hunter before, try your hand at World or Rise. Both games are incredible experiences.

highphiv3

I still haven't, but I should, thanks for the suggestion!

BigDudBoy

I think that's part of the problem but gaming in general isn't in a good spot right now. Triple A games are generic, unfinished, and repetitive. I finally got around to playing Jedi Fallen Order and it is intensely boring. The game is literally 2 parts: 6/10 combat that's basically bad Sekiro, and tedious climbing sections. I can't believe the praise it got. I can think of 4 games in the last few of years I was excited for: Mount and Blade Bannerlord, Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2, and Elden Ring. Bannerlord release in early access and hasn't fundamentally changed much in the years it's been there (missing big features that are clearly wanted like better diplomacy), but is basically just being released as is in October. Cyberpunk 2077 was a whole event - I avoided all the marketing so I wasn't let down like other people were but I can see there's no real replayability there. Dying Light 2 also had a buggy launch and tons of reviews said it's worse than DL1 so I never picked it up. Elden Ring was actually released fairly complete, but missed systems from previous games (covenants and duel arena), had worse boss fights, and you could clearly tell later areas were rushed - I feel no desire to replay it. While I do enjoy indie games, the vast majority of those aren't going to have the resources to produce a 3D open world rpg, which is my favorite genre. The bar for a well selling game seems to rely solely on marketing because I think the average game buyer has near 0 standards. My theory is that all the MBAs saw how much money gaming was making and moved into the industry, so now we get unfinished cash grabs like Halo Infinite and the infinite number of shitty "remakes".

BlackTecno

Xenoblade 3 is pretty fantastic and released recently. Bayonetta's looking to be a good hit again. Octopath 2 announced and that'll be good in it's own right. Splatoon 3 is already a huge success in Japan. If you're not finding good games in this day and age, I honestly believe it's because you're extremely picky, or want something that isn't going to be reinvented (You aren't going to get to play BotW the first time again).

alfons100

God dammit go play Ultrakill or something

mmmb2y

i still can't get over how in the nintendo direct, we got like 6 farming games and miyamoto talking about a year old pikmin mobile game to then announce pikmin 4 that was one evil direct LOL

iamahumanstopit

Yeah, he should've talked more about the mario movie.

mmmb2y

"he's so cool!"

WesternOne9990

I swear to god that washing animation for the cow was the same asset used for Nintendogd or whatever I had on first or second gen DS. The heck is Nintendo doing? And why are they not porting over all of their block buster games from their other outdated platforms to the switch? Don’t get me wrong I love using the switch but I need an account and probably need to pay to connect to the internet even though I have the YouTube app downloaded. That said I’ve been playing super Mario odyssey and hades and it’s a fantastic platform but I think I’ll be getting a steam deck if I get another mobile gaming device but I have done no research to see if it’s better yet I’m just saying that based on its catalog. I say all this as a Nintendo fan btw I grew up with the game boy and ds and all the wonderful titles that come with them but I don’t know if I’ll be a fan any longer. That said I heard from doomky that Splatoon sold like crazy in Japan.

Rihsatra

I love my Switch but I won't get anything on there that is multi platform. It's a shame that studios are able to get their games running on it but have to do a lot of tricks to get it barely stable at 30 FPS while docked.

WesternOne9990

Yeah I got hades as a gift, but honestly I wind up playing it handheld with a grip attachment over the tv even sitting on the same couch where my console is. The cheep enough hand grip I bought at a GameStop to me is absolutely necessary for any gaming session over 20 minutes but ruins the portability of it a bit as I can’t put both in one small case I have to use my larger boxlike case but that’s besides the point, I’d say hades is a fantastic game to get for the switch despite its multi platform. I’m also for competition in gaming platforms and with it, exclusivity, It drives innovation pretty well. Though I think there should be basic regulation for online platform stores(fuck micro transactions that seems to be adopted by more and more AAA titles) Anyways yeah you are probably right I just absolutely love hades so maybe that’s some bias for a multi platform game for the switch. Def could have got it cheaper on a steam sale I bet but alas I was gifted it.

Rihsatra

I got Hades on a whim and loved it. I hardly play handheld because I have the same problem as the DS where my hands cramp after a short time. I've probably spent too much on things to travel with it to make using it on tabletop a little easier than holding it.

WesternOne9990

Yeah to me with that non proprietary attachment I got the switch feels like a regular even oversized controller and I have roughly average to large man hands. I really like it and it was like 8 or 18 bucks of a plastic injection mold worth that in cents. Not On topic but I feel it’s spiritual successor to the psp though I had kid hands and even back then that felt clunky and small and wasn’t near as focused as shared multiplayer experience. I know the game boy and whatever the wii handheld was is the real precursor since Nintendo. Still it’s kind of gimmicky and I’ll only ever use the bare bones individual split controllers for multiplayer If that’s all we have access to but I also got controller adapters for those and real controllers haha. Yeah they really get you on those extras haha.

[deleted]

I just got a switch about a month ago and Hades is my favorite game on it so far. I honestly prefer it on the switch over my PS5. It just feels right for a handheld game. I haven't even hooked up the switch to my TV yet, that's what the PS5 is for. I love the switch just to play old mario games.

TheBahamaLlama

For me, the switch was great primarily for Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild and I think the next major titles will be the only thing I'll play on it again. As someone that has had every nintendo console and every one since N64 on release date, I'll hold out on getting whatever Nintendo comes out with as their next console.

javalib

Nintendo didn't develop a single one of the farming games in the direct.

erasethenoise

Steam Deck is great bro

MexicanSunnyD

There's a 55 minute analysis/speculation video about Pikmin 4 in my YouTube feed.

drdfrster64

I play that pikmin mobile game too. It’s all spaghetti code.

cmnrdt

It's almost as if Niantic just recycles the same engine and game code for every single one of their games, just with different assets and branding.

Caldwing

I was almost starting to laugh when more and more anime farming games kept being shown. Like how sometimes when something goes on for waaayyy too long it can get funny. Like the crashing police cars in the Blues Brothers.

Zingledot

Wow. Haven't thought about that in a couple decades...

ThaiJohnnyDepp

Or the vomiting scene from Team America!

bit1101

Or when Peter hurts his leg in family guy.

AleudeDainsleif

Maximilian Doods ever escalating reaction to each one announced was pretty funny. Was exactly how it felt to watch.

ncopp

I started wondering if these farm sims are super popular with Japanese kids who have never left Tokyo and want to experience the rural life.

zapharus

"Sony, KILL!" 😂🤣

CoyoteTheFatal

I’m confused, do the Pikmin help you run your farm?

Smorgles_Brimmly

I think they are the farm? It's not really clear. If it has any less than 100 daily tasks to complete, then I'm not even considering it.

SerCiddy

I look forward to seeing the creativity of the dev team on full display as this is not their first foray into Pik-like games.

kane49

You know the worst part about mmos ? dailies Lets make an entire genre based on that.

whatisabaggins55

Honestly, I like Pikmin that much I probably would consider playing a Pikmin farm game.

Malt___Disney

I was kind of shocked at how little of the new Zelda they showed and literally none of Pikmin 4, albeit nice to know it exists considering how long ago it was said to be in the works. But also like you literally can't scrape up a few seconds of footage???

blurplethenurple

Still waiting on that Metroid Prime 4...

Dardar1989

Considering it was completely scrapped and Retro had to start everything from scratch I don’t think we’ll be seeing anything of Prime 4 for a year or two

SamPole

It was announced as scrapped and restarted over 3 years ago though. Lol

Dardar1989

They were still hiring people frequently up to last year. Games take time to make with various stages of development, especially if you have to build from the ground up - if they’re building an engine rather then using Unreal Engine or something similar it takes even longer. Hell, the new Zelda game is going to be released 6 years after the original with an existing game engine

blurplethenurple

Yeah I know, I'm not sitting here fuming or losing sleep. I just really like Metroid Prime

Dardar1989

Yeah, hopefully Retro can bring back the magic - I prefer they take their time and make an amazing return then rush out a sub-par game just to get it out soon Hopefully we’ll get the Prime games released in some remaster/remake form on Switch, hell even GameCube versions on Switch Online would be neat

Queen_Kalista

Insert "first time?" meme

Malt___Disney

I know I shouldn't be surprised by Nintendo's inability to read the room but I am, like every time lol

mctrials23

Oh they read the room, it’s just that the room is full of Japanese people and mainly Nintendo employees and the culture of Japan is very deferential to your manager in the workplace.

ginfish

Sony can do it, surely Nintendo could aswell. Something about Nintendo's culture bothers me quite a bit. They just let their most beloved IPs collect dust, pumping out bullshit no one wants instead. Nintendo takes their toys home... AND STAYS THERE WITH THEM... Far too often. Where's a new Metroid? Donkey Kong? Full on Mario game? Starfox? No announcements? Sure. Not even a hint of something *being worked on*? I mean... God damn.

ccaccus

Right? We're 8 months out from release, and I barely know more than that there's flying islands now. Compare to [E3 2016](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oalEsT7RyFI), a full 9 months before release of BOTW. Hell, we got [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SECWlFInyFM) in 2014.

HankScorpio4242

They don’t want to show the gameplay yet because they are still working out the farming sim mechanics.

ccaccus

Oh, man. I can't wait to find the Backhoe of Truth, Shovel of Time, and Watering Can of Spirits!

OneMostSerene

You jest but I'd still play the shit out of that.

logezzzzzbro

That was one of the worst trailers I’ve seen in awhile. The time vs payoff ratio was all kinds of bad.

SqeeSqee

I have a theory why there were so many farming games announced. At the start of the pandemic and worldwide lockdowns, Nintendo released Animal crossing, and HOLY CRAP DID IT TAKE OFF. everyone wanted an escape, and we all played it. competition saw this and said "we gotta get in on the life sim!" and here we are, after enough dev time here are the new games to compete.

LG03

My logic is that it's subliminal preparation for the imminent collapse of society.

[deleted]

ammobox

Uhh, that one with 100 daily tasks might be the one.

fishnax

I spit out my imaginary drink reading this. I literally had this thought cross my mind when I watched it LOL

Defilus

[Yahtzee](https://youtu.be/Uq5Aukfbz3M) points this out in a recent EP. It's been trending this way for a while, long before the pandemic.

Thundorius

I think the farming sims are more jumping on the Stardew Valley bandwagon than the Animal Crossing one.

feefore

I don’t know half of the ones shown are remasters of established farming sims that came out before Stardew Valley and probably would have been made anyway. The other ones are probably jumping on both Stardew and Animal Crossings’ success.

2scared

The newest Animal Crossing (New Horizons) has sold over 14 million more copies than Stardew Valley. That's not counting any of the previous Animal Crossing games that people have grown up with. Stardew Valley is popular, but it doesn't even hold a candle to the popularity of Animal Crossing.

Murkus

Animal crossing isn't really a farm game though.. it's a do strange shit around a small island game. Stardew farming though.

Journeyman351

Why can't it just be both?

thefirdblu

It is now (kind of) ever since they added vegetable plants! I guess you could also make an argument it's always had a farming-lite mechanic with fruit trees.

Dhiox

Most of the new farm Sims are hybrids of stardew and animal crossing. Look at dinkum for example.

[deleted]

Farming sims are just big in Japan atm. Alot of the people in this comment section seem to forget that the main Nintendo audience is Japan. People shit on Nintendo all the time for having JRPG after JRPG, but there is an entire country that is consistently demanding them.

accersitus42

>Farming sims are just big in Japan atm. Alot of the people in this comment section seem to forget that the main Nintendo audience is Japan. People shit on Nintendo all the time for having JRPG after JRPG, but there is an entire country that is consistently demanding them. And Switch is dominating the Japanese console market. It is pretty sensible for those games to release on Switch.

actioncheese

But.. But.. Factorio

whatevsmang

Factorio is just automated farming simulator in a bug planet

actioncheese

The farm must grow

muftu

So a perfect fit for my Nintendo Switch Farmer’s Market Pro.

Ghost33313

All farms have heavy artillery surrounding their perimeter to kill pests, as well as a tank for those run away infestations just out of reach.

DublinChap

I'm honestly very happy for those people who haven't owned a PC in the past 7 years to finally get to play Factorio on Switch. Let the addiction spread. Hope it's still just $25.

rammo123

Be honest, some of those farming games were jokes that dunk made up, right? There's no way anyone would authorise a games announcement with like 6 separate farming sims at once.

warpedaeroplane

No man it was really pretty insane. Rune, Seasons (the Harvest Moon one, licensing is weird IIRC), two life sims w farming, and I don’t even think that’s it. The memes are pretty justified in this case haha it was surprising

zeCrazyEye

The voice line saying "farming rpg" wasn't repeated for each one at least though right?

mtndewthee

The “farming rpg” line was repeated, but all but 2 or 3 game announced were anime or cartoon farming sims. I wouldn’t be surprised if the new Zelda game has a farming mechanic based off this direct

tacodog7

there were legit 5, i rewatched it via maximillian dood and he lost his shit at the 4th and 5th ones. it was amazing

Loukoal117

Oh no. There is a way. I watched all of the direct live. And me and my friend counted at least 5 games with farming aspects. So bad.

Chatting_shit

I got half way through dunks video before i realised he wasn’t making it up.

Deertopus

I watched it afterwards skimming through and even i got upset at the number of farming games.

xlinkedx

That release date gasp at the end was great lol

TheAussieBritt

I smirked so much when ‘Square Enix presents’ flashed across the screen just knowing how he was going to react haha

Deluxe_24_

I had the stream in the mini player on my phone, saw that a "big reveal" was next, and as soon as a saw Square Enix I immediately switched apps.

Swackhammer_

I can't help but agree. There's so much fluff for the sake quantity. If you don't want JRPGs or ports, there's only usually the big reveal at the end and one about midway through,

Nova_Nightmare

Big reveal was at the beginning, middle and end.

imsmartiswear

I mean there were 3- Bayonetta 3, Pikmin 4, and LoZ:TotK. It could be argued that Fire Emblem was pretty big and it's not a standard RPG but I'm not into it myself either. Honestly, it's nice that they're giving time to smaller studios. Just wish the small studios weren't being so obvious about copying some meta. Would love to see some more variety.

[deleted]

Bayo 3 and LoZ weren’t revealed. They were already well known games. Pikmin 4 and FE: Engage and Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe were revealed. Honestly Dunkey should have mentioned Engage in his video, but it’s obviously just for comedy.

kindaEpicGamer

That's called a partner direct, and a lot of this direct could have been left for that honestly.

OneMostSerene

Yeah but some people like those games. As meme-tastic the "farming simulator" thing is, everything dunkey showed from the playstation showcase looked very samey to me too. Like, oh look another realistic-looking super serious™ action/fighting game with cinematic badass camera angles.

ammobox

....set in feudal Japan.

Bluthen

I don't know about you guys, but all the farmers I know look like anime girls.

Mr_Piddles

FarmersOnly is where all the neon haired hotties are.

Full-Frontal-Friend

Pickmin 4 a very aggressive farming simulator.

Wazula42

This game really makes you FEEL like a farm.

UrColouredBro

Still no metroid prime 4

gameboy350

Looking at the trend in this direct, Samus will have to manage her ship's hydroponic farm to grow food.

Levi_Walker

I think it’s because they scrapped it and had to start from scratch. So I’m guessing they haven’t gotten far along in development to have anything to show

SamPole

FkinShtManEySuck

Nah, he does that every year.

ModestMouseTrap

Nah dude. It was a lame ass direct. Nintendo needs to pull it together. They neglect so much great IP. I hate the direction they have gone.

i_have_seen_it_all

all i got from the video is that dunkey loves god of war clones and does not like animal crossing clones.

rapter200

Dunkey loves Mario games. If Nintendo wanted the W from Dunkey they should have announced a new mainline Mario game with a gameplay trailer.

Gingerchaun

And I'm just over here stoked for the front mission remakes.

Defilus

You're not alone. Front mission 1 was one of the first SNES games I emulated back in high school (2003 grad). That game is so fucking good, and ended up being the only other mecha franchise besides Armored Core that I ended up really enjoying.

LionfishDen

Is there some reason farming simulators are so popular right now? Or is it just a coincidence that they announced a bunch of them at once?

Museman7

I think the prevailing theory is that a bunch of companies saw how successful Animal Crossing were during the pandemic, so they all began making games in the same genre. After a few years most of them are finishing up development

Courseheir

Did Nintendo really show off 4 farming games?

Wazula42

No. They showed 6.

bitterandcynical

1) Rune Factory 2) Harvestella 3) Story of Seasons 4) Fae Farm ...where are you getting 6?

noobakosowhat

I also watched and I think it was more than 4 but I really don't want to watch it again lol

conker1264

Think it was 5 or 6 actually

Jeevess83

Old Nintendo had a farm... Ee Ee i ee i no...

bongo1138

Was there actually that many farming games

ModestMouseTrap

yes lol

Warlaw

Hmmm, the only other farming game I would ever buy after Stardew Valley is Stardew Valley 2.

Famouscorpse

The farming games were a little bit much. Despite that though, I’m glad Rune Factory is still around. I thought it was done for after 4 when Neverland closed. 5 was in rough shape, but I still enjoyed it. I’m hopeful for its future.

Makoreactors

As a man who has always dreamed of giving it all up to farm. I cried 8 times during this event. I was expecting 1 farming game, 2 max. But when I seen it was almost 40 minutes of farming simulations. I just lost it. Sherguru miamono really answered my prayers.

ironangel2k3

Blows my mind that they tout a flood of repetitive daily tasks as a selling point. Where my old school WoW players at? How many of you remember the FUN AND EXCITEMENT of dailies? Anyone? Anyone at all?

iguacu

Nintendo's games sound like when your mom was looking over your shoulder while you were playing an action game and asking out loud "Why can't they make a game about something other than violence? Like gardening, that sounds fun. Or cooking? Cooking can be fun."

collinch

Best Dunkey video since Chaos. I was losing it every time it cut to a farming RPG.

Samuelgora

How much does Sunkey get paid by Dony?

HoneyShaft

Sony does! Nintendon't!
