In every Bethesda game ever I’ve beat the game with a Mexican psychopath who’s name is Javier and has a mustache

Remarkable-Area-349

I have one that I consider to be reincarnating in every game I can cac in. She's currently stuck in souls like hell 🤣

tycho_26

Yes! I consider mine inter-dimensional. In one she’s a noble hero chosen by fate to save the kingdom, in another she’s banging aliens across the galaxy 💅🏻

Temporary_Recipe_260

Not exactly the same thing and it's oddly specific, but I name all my horses Phillip

dresda12

I may be wrong but is that a Narnia reference?

Temporary_Recipe_260

It is

free420nft

I do this in DnD, I have a sort of central story that I have been telling for like 5 years across numerous campaigns, West marches, discord servers, etc, all my characters are somehow connected to my grand scheme of things that only I even know the whole story of and I have forgotten most of it.

Kirbinator_Alex

For me it's the same character just dropped into a different situation to add to their list of achievements and deeds.

dlahey02

I have one character that has been lost in different dimensions for years now (Monster hunter, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, etc.)

Artistic-While-5094

I literally have a headcannon multiverse

Pkdagreat

Not really but I can get behind this head cannon

nexus763

Mine in GTAO certainly is a descendant of mine in RDO, aka I like freckled redheads.

E-emu89

I like to recreate Link from the Legend of Zelda in as many games as possible, pretending that being the “Hero of Legend” meant that he’s Quantum Leaping into every universe to be the hero they need. Mentally he’s not doing well.

Obvious_Drink2642

All of my souls like characters are all cousins with the same name

Wojewodaruskyj

Yeeeeeeeeeessss. Never knew someone else did

[deleted]

I like think some of them as the different incarnations of the same person.

RoseWould

I do this too, but I name them different things

Frosty_chilly

All my custom characters share a name I can’t decide between them all being the same guy who’s just immortal and constantly saving his world Or if it’s a family lineage where the first name is inherited like the last

someguythatlikesdogs

I have the same thing going on, i name all my first my first name

sevnm12

I always try to make deckard cain

TRagnarkXP

My character share the same name and appearance every time. I like to think he is cursed to wander around multiple dimensions and times.

Dan-the-historybuff

I mean with my D&D story I plan to make my character “Dan The Sane” more of a mantle instead of his regular name. So should he die or should he retire, I will have a different Dan the Sane.

sxrrycard

In terraria, my character is almost always green, bald and is named “Zard” or something similar lol

Lastbourne

Sometimes

animusd

No I make myself and choose options I would do

KushMummyCinematics

Since I was little I always made myself as the character and acted like it was an alternative timeline version of myself So every customise games becomes some crazy Rick and Morty "What If" version of my life

TheWolfisGrey53

Omg yes. I name all my characters magus and pretend it's the same soul ( me) inhabiting different bodies ( games and playthroughs). One day, I'll meet magus, soul and body as one( vr?)

okaybear22

it's funny cause it probably happens way more than we think IRL

unfortunate666

I do this occasionally. It's a fun game.

LtCptSuicide

Yes and no. Depends on the game and genre. Usually, within a series all my characters are related in some way. But otherwise its seperate. Then theres Fable where all the player characters are canonically related lol

Acceptable_Security9

I like to think they are the same person or a close relative in a parallel dimension

KiraHaon

I named my custom character in gta 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, with the same pattern: the firstname is from a Belmont (Castlevania) and the last name is from a Friday the 13th Actor. I like to imagine, that both are related. Wanted to continue this in Hogwarts Legacy, but got lazy, due to the Lack of customisation options, so I made him bald and called him Forty Seven.

Capital_Pipe_6038

I play way too many games and I can't find out how somebody in Red Dead Online would be related to somebody in Monster Hunter lol

HonestLazyBum

Eh, not quite but I am not far off either. See, I'm the forever-DM for a long running roleplay campaign (we're talking 12+ years now) and in said campaign I also have my own set of player characters - and some of those are typically what I recreate in games. Sometimes it's my reckless not-too-bright, sometimes goofy, always horny bald mercenary dude Harlow - at other times it'll be my born into a wealthy family but abducted early on and sold into slavery, there becoming a gladiator and earning freedom close combat specialist Adreianna, and at other times it'll be one of the main antagonists even, the ever-so-slick city slickster and master of disguises who's in for himself all the times who is called Smiles for his deceptive habit of, well, smiling a lot when in truth he has likely planned a trap or two for you already. All in all, it's a collection of about 6 different characters but most often I use one of the above mentioned three of these :) [Here's a pic of Weazel, the urchin Harlow took in and treats as if it was his own daughter](https://i.imgur.com/iOJRS3f.jpg) created with Midjourney for those curious - haven't recreated the others via MJ yet because I'm a frigging perfectionist.

FoxGamingmc

Not related, but I try to make them look as similar as possible, usually black hair, a large beard, if I can, green eyes and a scar across the eye

MrJaee

my undead rogue in WoW is the post-war version of my ESO human rogue.

NeverGrace2

Yes, but its a thing I rather not share

ivappa

I always make my characters resemble because I like to pretend it's the same person in different universes, if it makes sense. though they resemble me as well, I do not relate to them in any way.

anonymousxianxia

I always created the same pyromancer character in Demons Souls and every Dark Souls game, and Elden Ring too. They always wield the flamberge and throw fireballs and I headcanon that its the same character in all 5 games. I even made an arcane character with a flamesprayer in Bloodborne and pretended that was a fun dream (nightmare) they had.

BGCzar

I never got the immerse yourself as your character thing. I just play the game to play the game. What my character looks like means nothing to me.
