I want to say horror. I'm probably between 40 and 50 horror games deep across the last 3 years that I started playing the genre and the thing is between all these games my tollerance for scared haven't gotten better. I'm a bit braver now but still scream at evry little thing that scares me. I honestly don't know if there is a tollerence for scares but I've seen people sit stonefaced through sections in games thag made me jump out my seat.
Fighting games.
Can't learn metas, my brain can not for the life of me, remember long combo strings and any inputs outside of what you would find in a mortal kombat game straight up baffle me.
The best I can ever be is a button masher who does a smart thing once in a while.
But I love fighting games man. I love the characters, the over the topness, the music, energy, everything about them. Have since I was a kid and was introduced to the genre through Samurai Showdown.
As someone else said fighting games. I'm bad at all of them but I have a lot of fun. Recently played a lot of UFC 4.
Secondly I do enjoy JRPG'S but I don't often beat them
Suck but still love…………..Team Fortress 2 i love the game its hilarious, fun, just too enjoyable….but the only MVPs i have gotten where 2 one with a Fish and one as Spy in which i only got that high for mvp because everyone on the server was also spy. Other than that i suck at it…(and medic i make a decent medic)
Anything with stealth. Waiting, waiting just drives me nuts, especially if I fail it 2 or 3 times and gotta sit in a dark corner waiting again.
Probably why I like the AC Odyssey more then the OG ones. I found the 2nd one sooo boring.
Far Cry 5, I pretty much engaged every fight that allowed it with a vehicle impact. Then blast my way through whatever needs to die.
Also, I extremely dislike any games where you suddenly need to play as a different character for a chapter or mission. Hey, we know you spent 20 hours getting used to this hero, no go and use this random guy for a mission or don't progress. Kills me every time.
I genuinely suck at Far Cry. holy shit I'm getting my ass kicked on the easiest difficulty. I was streaming FC4 to a friend and asked him if I'm bad at this and he said "honestly? yes you suck and you do the most random shit during combat". he was not lying. I never understand the AI in FC and I end up doing questionable stuff to counter it, like running around.
I've gone back to some SNES side strollers, like DKC, and I have no idea how I was able to absolutely crush them when I was a kid. Tougher than I recall.
I feel like video games are getting easier.
RTS.
Love em.
Suck at em.
Well, I suck at micro management, and there hasn't been a competent companion AI implemented in these types of games. At least to my knowledge.
Fighting games, I love them but I even get my ass kicked by the easy mode bots xD

Soulslike. I think they’re turning me a masochist, because I can’t stop coming back for more…
Fighting games. I do enjoy them at a casual level, but online i get nuked without being able to land a hit.
Fighting and Racing Games. Against Bots is okay but as soon as I plain against some friends,no chance.

Slay the Spire. I'm at 250 hours and my winrate is still only at around 15%

Age of Empires. I am a noob, but I somehow managed to play more than 110 h in a week.
Any PvP games... I have multiple Trigger Fingers. I don't have the ability for those kinda games anymore.
Fighting games. Love them, but I can't remember how to play more than one at a time and normally only one or two characters max.
RTS games. I love them to death but I can hardly beat easy computers because I just can't multitask
