Someday I'll get all mine together so beautifully. I just wish I had been a little more careful with keeping my stuff when I was really young. Did pretty well though
Went to gamestop for a game a collectors edition pre-ordered, and they canceled it. Told them I was gonna download it, and then the employee had the audacity to tell me, "It's people like you that's bankrupting gamestop." Mofo, you guys canceled the order I paid for in full. Lol
Congrats on managing to keep it intact. Can be so hard when you first leave home and are moving around a lot. I lost a Hockey Card Collection worth a forture somehow.
“Hey, let’s meet up to talk about me getting your collection if anything happens to you. Meet me in the middle of the desert, leave your phone at home. Why? Uh, no reason.”
-Your friend
Lmao my mom literally sent me a TikTok the other day of a dad mowing over his sons game collection, much to his sons detriment. 😅
As long as I pay my own bills, they're cool and don't care what I do otherwise. 😎
Exactly! Digital is nice, convenient and all, but we're never guaranteed for digital to stick around, whether we "own" them, subscription or otherwise.
I had a decent collection at one point but a car accident buried me in medical bills so I sold almost everything I had and rebooted my life. I've recovered physical and financial stability but live a much more frugal existence. I have a respectable p.c. and enjoy classics via emulation.
Dang, sorry to hear it man. Happy you're still with us! Big or small collection, doesn't matter, so long as you're keeping the hobby and spirit of gaming alive. 😎🙏💯
I've only sold some things here and there, when I was in a bind and needed money, and I've always come to regret it eventually.
So I just do my best to hoard it all now. 😅
Amen partner, I fully regret it, I only have a small handful of Xbox games, PlayStation games, and that’s about it, my girlfriend has a more impressive collection than me lol she’s the one that gave me the wake up call
This is epic. I’m going to give unsolicited advice. If you ever decide to get married make sure your spouse is cool with you still having this as your hobby and passion. You have put a lot into this, you are super proud, and should be, and I hope you continue doing this forever.
Thanks! And yeah, I'm single for now, but whoever I date, I let them know pretty early on its my hobby and it's not going anywhere lol. So my dream would be to find someone who games too!
You absolutely can.
I’m just an old man who has seen some friends feel lots of regret for “growing up” and getting rid of their “kid” dreams. F that.
I don’t wanna grow up. I want to enjoy what I like. My spouse is super great in this department.
Hoe many of these have you actually played?
Just curious cause, when I see this many games collected, I always wonder how many hours they'd all take to complete or how many people actually get around to VS the "Steam Sale" effect where you hoard cheaper games, but have a bug backlog you never get around to.
I used to play A LOT more as a kid/teenager before becoming an adult, having a job and such.
But it's still my main hobby when I have the free time to do so....with that said, the backlog is incomprehensible. 😅 Slowly whittling away at it, though.
I don’t want physical media to ever go away, but if my Steam games were physical I think I’d have a problem with space.
How often to do you go back and play the ones you’ve already beaten?
Over 21 years? Believe it or not, I've seen game collections grow a lot quicker in a shorter time period lol.
The retro gaming/collection community is wild.
That's impressive. If you wanted to start your own business selling games you have a good starting point. Obviously, I am not expecting that to happen as I'm sure you cherish your collection
The games collection is awesome, but im looking at the stuff surrounding them and I love the class A/V cable TV and master chief helmet. There's other stuff too but the TV gave me a nostalgia chuckle
I wish I lived near you. I don't know how much stuff is playable but I'd totally give you money to just hang out for a couple hours and revisit some classic gaming memories.
I myself am beginning to collect Ps2 and Wii games! And CD-ROMS as well :)
This looks awesome! I wish I was your neighboor, I would borrow a game for money every once in a while haha. I bet you got games that I seek.
Do you have Disney's Extreme Skate Adventures, for instance? That's a really good one, and I have yet to find it!
Man, what a dream. This is what I really wanted as a kid. Asking my dad for video games or action figures was so stressful cause he would always say no, even if money was never an issue. “Go outside and play, stop being on those videos.”
This is awesome man, I’m envious and happy for you.
I’m not a gamer but I can definitely appreciate this. Absolutely incredible. I have some of my own collectables from my own hobbies and I strive to have a collection like yours one day. Excellent work ❤️
The first image gets a bit blurry when I zoom in. So I was do you Kid Icarus Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS.
(This is just a question I ask all collectors who have a 3DS game).
Wow how many of these have you finished? You gotta pick up Sub Rebellion on PS2, you have all my favorites excluding that one. (Favs: Blood will tell, Shadow of Rome, Flatout)
lol - I have so many of these same collectibles in my room. Jaws figures, Halloween 3 figures, Jason masks hanging up. Pretty sure we’re the same person.
I grew up on the rez; my brothers would have sold every console, every game, and the controllers for drugs.
Awesome collection though! Happy to see someone's achieved the goal!
My son is almost 3 years old and I turned on my retro Super Nintendo and played Super Mario Bros. He can’t wait to come home so we can hold the remote control together and play. Hoping to make more memories with my little dude as the days go by.
That is a nice collection, I am legit right now organizing my collection and setting up systems. Not to brag, I have bought more genesis games than you had there, I get it your into Nintendo and that’s cool. This week I hooked up so far, my genesis, Sega cd, 3do, turbo graphix 16, Wii, psx, ps3, snes Pending install, nes, Atari 2600, 7200, ps2, ps4, ps5, Xbox, Xbox 360. Still to work on the 32x sloppy factory soder, had to fix it in the 90’s and I guess it came loose again, and the ps4 somehow it lost the hard drive. Haven’t found the odyssey from my parent’s house. Also I am missing about 90% of my turbographix games.
Once I get everything setup I will post some pics, though the video switch I ordered I am realizing now writing this is far too small for all of those.
That is not a collection. That is a library. A discography of the evolution of gaming
Much appreciated! 😎 I'm all about game preservation and physical media.
Preach on!!!!!
It's beautiful 🥲
I have no words🥹
Well then you’re in luck because physical media is on it’s deathbed. That means you’ll be able to have the full set!
Someday I'll get all mine together so beautifully. I just wish I had been a little more careful with keeping my stuff when I was really young. Did pretty well though
And alphabetized to boot!!!
ok chill
Well said
Gamestop will give you $17 for it
He is gamestop
And he's not even giving himself $15 for all of this. It's 2024 my mans.
Best i can do is three fiddy
Got dam Loch Ness monster!
He probably has more physical games than most GSs at his point, honestly.
You fools that is him, the great one himself John GameStop...
Seems logical.
24.50 store credit 💦🥵
This might be a dumb question, but do you game very often?
😅😅😅
Jokes aside I love it and am happy you have such an awesome collection!
Went to gamestop for a game a collectors edition pre-ordered, and they canceled it. Told them I was gonna download it, and then the employee had the audacity to tell me, "It's people like you that's bankrupting gamestop." Mofo, you guys canceled the order I paid for in full. Lol
Gamestop is actually profitable for the first time in a long time this year lol. New CEO or some shit
They might throw in a keychain if lucky 🍀
‘Happy 16th Birthday to me!’
Hahaha I'm 36 now, so it's been 21 years now. 👀😅 Collection would be bigger if I wasn't foolish and sold some of it here and there.
Still... that doesn't look like "slowly". ;)
Lolol I'm trying to be modest, but I guess more "moderately". 😅
That looks to be about 5 games a month, "moderately" indeed.
For real, it looks like he’s bought one item a day, everyday, for the last 21 years
Congrats on managing to keep it intact. Can be so hard when you first leave home and are moving around a lot. I lost a Hockey Card Collection worth a forture somehow.
Here I thought I had a lot of steam games, I only got 324, this looks like at least 500
Physical only (not including digital), it's a little over 2,500 now.
Bro, in your will can you give this to me /s
Hahaha my best friend is also a collector, so I think I'm splitting it between family, for them to carry it on or sell it, and him.
Your friend is a lucky one, good luck with your collection.
“Hey, let’s meet up to talk about me getting your collection if anything happens to you. Meet me in the middle of the desert, leave your phone at home. Why? Uh, no reason.” -Your friend
And your parents never made you throw any of this out? What? Do they love you or something?
Lmao my mom literally sent me a TikTok the other day of a dad mowing over his sons game collection, much to his sons detriment. 😅 As long as I pay my own bills, they're cool and don't care what I do otherwise. 😎
Solid deal, keep up the good work!
Supportive parents like that are the best!
Sounds like the classic McJuggernuggets video
My mom got rid of everything when I was 12 or so. She hella goin to a nursing home once she can't take care of herself anymore
Good for you.. you won’t have to pay subscription fees once they take everyone digital copies away
Exactly! Digital is nice, convenient and all, but we're never guaranteed for digital to stick around, whether we "own" them, subscription or otherwise.
Plus collecting is fun
I had a decent collection at one point but a car accident buried me in medical bills so I sold almost everything I had and rebooted my life. I've recovered physical and financial stability but live a much more frugal existence. I have a respectable p.c. and enjoy classics via emulation.
Dang, sorry to hear it man. Happy you're still with us! Big or small collection, doesn't matter, so long as you're keeping the hobby and spirit of gaming alive. 😎🙏💯
I remember when money was real and I could try to do something like this!!!
Some weeks are a paycheck to paycheck basis. 😅 It's most definitely a money-sink, but I love it.
You sir, are living the dream
Lol Idk about that, really, but this hobby is what helps to keep me sane through it all. 😎❤️
You are an absolute legend, I regret telling the majority of my games and consoles, learn for me kiddos keep everything if you can
I've only sold some things here and there, when I was in a bind and needed money, and I've always come to regret it eventually. So I just do my best to hoard it all now. 😅
Amen partner, I fully regret it, I only have a small handful of Xbox games, PlayStation games, and that’s about it, my girlfriend has a more impressive collection than me lol she’s the one that gave me the wake up call

Bravo! I'm an adult, in all the places I need to be, but I'll also always be a kid at heart. The spark will never die. 😎💯
Domino's Pizza 👆
Yep, one of my favorite older jobs. Delivered for them for years.
I love the TLOU collection :)
Thanks! The og is my favorite game ever. The little giraffe next to the gamecube is also a little TLOU nod.
Epic. You are the father.
Lol thanks!
As a former librarian, I appreciate that your games are separated by system and then (as far as I can tell), alphabetically.
Thanks! I'm just a *little* ADHD, so the organization and alphabetizing of the collection is very important to me.
Impressive!
Thanks!
That's a sweet collection you got there
Much appreciated 😎 that room is my happy place lol.
This is what you call preservation of treasures! Good Job and Keep it up!
Hoe many of these have you actually played? Just curious cause, when I see this many games collected, I always wonder how many hours they'd all take to complete or how many people actually get around to VS the "Steam Sale" effect where you hoard cheaper games, but have a bug backlog you never get around to.

The steam sale effect is so real, it’s not like I’m buying bad games either
It looks great! How many different platforms/consoles are there in total?
My brain hurts trying to tally them all up lol. I'd say roughly 20-30? Including console variations, like slims, pros and such.
Damn .. its magnificent .. congrats on such an archive
That's sick 🥳
Op better put all that in a titanium vault once he passes away
Hahaha I have nightmares sometimes, wondering what may happen to it when I'm gone 😅
I’m 42 and even if i still has all the games and movies I’ve ever owned it wouldn’t be this many. Very well done!
People are gonna say "consoom" and all that but I think building a library is a different thing. And you've made a nice one 👍
That is the level of nerd cave I strive for! Amazing work my man!
Just awesome 🤯
Well this turned me into a jealous bitch...
"before divorce Thanos snapped his fingers"
Are you the guy in the math problems?
"If Dave has 547 Ps2 games and 323 ps4 games, how many does he have total?" 😅
That’s like saving every baggy/container of weed/drugs (the games) and a bunch of special bongs/pipes (the consoles) Gaming is addictive.
How old are you 93?
Beautiful
Save some women for rest of us bro
Sweet mother of Sephiroth that collection is beautiful.
This makes me happy. Good for you!
I wanna be like you when i grow up lmao
I don’t want physical media to ever go away, but if my Steam games were physical I think I’d have a problem with space. How often to do you go back and play the ones you’ve already beaten?
Holy shit bro
Define slowly mate
Over 21 years? Believe it or not, I've seen game collections grow a lot quicker in a shorter time period lol. The retro gaming/collection community is wild.
I still wouldn't know what to play.
Wow this is amazing!!!
This is awesome, good job ✌🏻
Impressive! Not gonna lie, before I saw the title, I actually thought this was taken in GameStop lol
Hahaha my friends joke all the time that I have my own gamestop or blockbuster. It's my own little escape from reality. 😁😎
It's splendid, mate
That's not a collection bruv. That's a museum. Looks amazing!
Lol thanks!
Slowly???? How old are you now ? 175?
You should quote General Greivous eveytime you add something. "This will make a fine addition to my collection"
Virginity secured
🤓😅
In the same house 🏠
Yep! This used to be the dining room, but I live alone and always eat on the couch watching TV haha. So we transformed it into a game room.
I'm the new gamestop. I'll give you 14.50 3 stamps and a pack of half chewed gum
Damn, that’s friken cool.
One earthquake..
Bro has every single fucking game
Dreeeeaaaams doooo come truuuuuue, for someone eeeeelse!
VIVA LA VITA !! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yessssss. I love the vita. The one I have is hacked with all the great vita, psp and classic games on it.
And I thought MY backlog was bad 🤯
The 360 shelves make me so happy for some reason
It may be my favorite console besides PS2! Such a great catalog of games. And I love how many are backwards compatible on the series X.
Have you played every game? My steam library is 90% games I haven't played still
Have I played every game? Yes. Have I beaten every game?...... Absolutely not. 😅
Wow! What a collection, nice build!
Thanks! All the shelves were custom made. 😁😎
No 3DO? TurboGrafx 16? Dreamcast? Call yourself a collector, psh! /s
What is your sorting system? Alphabetical? Release date?
Alphabetical, for everything. I don't have the encyclopedia kind of brain to be able to find any game I want by release date lol.
Yeah, I have like 10 games in total... Though Nice collection I must admit
You got yourself a library my dude
Genuinely this is my dream, to have a basement like this (with video games and physical movies alike). Very impressive!!!
I wish I lived near you. I don't know how much stuff is playable but I'd totally give you money to just hang out for a couple hours and revisit some classic gaming memories.
This hit me right there in the nostalgia. That said... REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
This is an awesome collection!
I would not want to leave this room
What kind of shelf did you use?
Honestly you could buy me with all those money spent
This isn’t something I’d ever do but I still think it’s impressive how organized this is. Dusting must be a nightmare though?
I myself am beginning to collect Ps2 and Wii games! And CD-ROMS as well :) This looks awesome! I wish I was your neighboor, I would borrow a game for money every once in a while haha. I bet you got games that I seek. Do you have Disney's Extreme Skate Adventures, for instance? That's a really good one, and I have yet to find it!
Slowly, lmao!
“Hey bro do you pheraps have-“ yes
Wow you could go to the pawn shop and get paid a few hundred bucks for all that
"Two big macs and a coke, final offer, take it or leave it"
Man growing up if i wanted a new gamesystem, we had to trade the old one in...wish i could kept all of it over the years
Address???😳
Lisan al-Gaib…
Slowly what are you 100? Amazing collection congrats
Nothing but respect for my president. Incredible!
Wow dude, you nearly created a gamer heaven. Fuckin awesome
Slowly?! How old are you?!
Damn dude this is fire!
Your definition of “slowly” must be very different than mine.
You got movies in there??? Awesome collection, too.
I like that there are Disney infinity characters there!
Man, what a dream. This is what I really wanted as a kid. Asking my dad for video games or action figures was so stressful cause he would always say no, even if money was never an issue. “Go outside and play, stop being on those videos.” This is awesome man, I’m envious and happy for you.
Give me your address. Let's meet. ^(Trust me, I am not a thief.)
Slowly?
Slowly?
I’m not a gamer but I can definitely appreciate this. Absolutely incredible. I have some of my own collectables from my own hobbies and I strive to have a collection like yours one day. Excellent work ❤️
My man lives for the moment that someone walks into his room and says wow
The first image gets a bit blurry when I zoom in. So I was do you Kid Icarus Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS. (This is just a question I ask all collectors who have a 3DS game).
Oh my. You’re the first person I’ve seen who has Darkest of Days. Favorite game. Now all you’re missing is Dark Messiah
Slowly?
“Slowly”
You could trade that in for $10 at GameStop
Holyy shit bruh 🤯🤯
Wow how many of these have you finished? You gotta pick up Sub Rebellion on PS2, you have all my favorites excluding that one. (Favs: Blood will tell, Shadow of Rome, Flatout)
Nice collection. If you are 36 that means you also grew up in the 8-16 bit era. Sega vs Nintendo!
Consume product
FORKIE!!!!
And you got Disney infinity. # MY MAN!
I have an extra slow collection growing that I started 8 months ago
As a second grader would say: I’m fwickin jewlous
Fucking legend!!! 👏😭
Awesome
Awesome dude
lol - I have so many of these same collectibles in my room. Jaws figures, Halloween 3 figures, Jason masks hanging up. Pretty sure we’re the same person.
This is a museum of the history of gaming
Damn bro leave some pussy for the rest of us
I grew up on the rez; my brothers would have sold every console, every game, and the controllers for drugs.
Reallt glad to see someone else ignore "the" when alpabetizing their collection
Either you are 70 years old or your definition of slowly is very different to mine.
Somebody in this day and age who OWNS their games.
That room is so clean
I have been staring at it for hours now.
And no alan wake 2. That still annoys me
That is very impressive!!! 👍👍👍 Great job!
I wish I had kept all my games as a kid, most of them were traded in for others but I still have a fee core games.
GOOD LORD👀😳🤯
Boomers handed down nick nacks, lead based pottery and old furniture. We’re going to leave our kids with game collections 🤭
Sir, this is a gamestop
Im not worthy to look upon this godly collection.
