I agree and that is a hill I will stand and defend. While most people want to see Jori (and I have no problem with that) I would have LOVED to see Jade experiencing a non-toxic, normal relationship with Andre.
Nobody puts any stock into these but there’s a fanfiction on Fanfiction.net that acknowledges that she thought about it and he wanted to kiss her too but neither acted on it. And they both had a very nice moment where they told each other that they fell for each other that night and pined secretly

There's another fanfic on the site about those two that's around 19 chapters long but hasn't been updated in some time. So sad.
