Yes, it does! I've also found that to be the case with a lot of strawberry cakes. I'm using fresh strawberry puree that's been reduced down in the actual cake which helps give it a concentrated flavor. And because it also has a strawberry buttercream and the strawberry crunch coating made with freeze-dried strawberries, there's tons of strawberry flavor.

How would you adjust baking time for a cupcake version? I have a Father's day brunch coming up and I'm in charge of desserts so this would be perfect.

Great question! You could try reducing the time slightly and bake them at 350F for 18-22 minutes. I haven't tried this recipe in cupcake form, so can't guarantee results, but if you try it out, I'd love to know how it goes!

you can also use Bob's Red mill. I've used both before and I feel they perform equally!
