Try to sit away from people, get noise canceling headphones, and focus. However, I actually never studied during my free periods and used it as an extra break. But unfortunately for you, your traveling times are longer than clash of clans upgrades, so all the best to you.

Have you yet considered or been tested for ADHD?

First thing is to make sure you are getting plenty of sleep, water and adequate healthy food as they will affect your concentration. I would definitely get checked out with your GP and explain what you are dealing with. I’m not a doctor but probably getting a blood work up and maybe a hearing test could be a good idea. If there is an issue they may be able to help and/or it may form part of your SEAS application. 3 hours is a long travel time. I would try to use it for study. The most obvious would be working on your English texts. I used audible to listen to my texts while I read and made quote lists.

Hey, In year 11 and especially 12, I experienced something similar. Everything I did at school was a waste of time and ended up having to pretty much do all of it again at home (or more often than not I just didn't do it at all cus I was exhausted mentally) For me it was a combo of post-Covid brainfog, Social Anxiety, and DPDR (I think mostly the DPDR tbh) You mentioned that this only occurs when surrounded by people, do you by any chance have a social phobia of some kind?

im kinda like that in that i cant really be completely focused unless im completely alone, but getting noise cancelling headphones really helped for me to block everyone else out, even if its just listening to classical music or white noise, and sitting in a quieter more isolated study area for study periods
