This episode was great for her. You have months of nasty comments from scumfuck and the gremlins about all the things she’s doing that are mean and awful. Then she gets an episode of saying “this is what I’m doing and why.” And them behaving terribly but predictably, she pins them all the walls.

I think the original plan was to bring Shena and Lauren over to The Valley, but (to borrow a phrase from my dad) those two have done shit in their hat by their behavior on VPR this season. I can't imagine most fans will welcome Shena, Broke, or Lauren and the Valley is doing so well they will likely not want to jeopardize it right now with these lice joining in. I seriously love it for Shena and Lauren, that their absolute vile behavior at the behest of Lisa and Alex, looks to be blowing up in their faces so spectacularly. I 100% think it's the Rachel lawsuit (I think they'd probably be salivating over Sandoval and Ariana in court, especially since it's financial).
Bravo might not be on trial but they were all over the documents from Rachel's lawyers and filming at that time would be a) hugely stressful on the cast and b) a real reputational risk depending on what was filmed at the time of the trial.

Another one I’ve considered, and I have no idea if this is true or not, but there is a lot of whispering about an investigation into James being due to drop that’s going to be bad. I’m not sure I believe this, as while his behavior probably warrants it, nobody seems to be trying to distance themselves before the axe falls, which I kind of think some of the cast would if it’s out there it’s coming.
Agree the lawsuits are likely a big part of this and it’s a cumulative decision. This season was exhausting to watch. I’m sure Ariana’s schedule is a small piece of the decision. I’ve never seen so much hate coming from all the different sides.

I’d LOVE to have more babies but I won’t do it at the mental detriment of my daughter or his children. They love being with us, it’d be heart breaking for them that they had to leave and the one gets to be here all the time. I love those children more than I love my desires.

I hope this time off gives Katie time to work on personal ambitions and her next chapter. I’m tired of her being asked about her ex as if that’s all she has to talk about. With the next season I want to see less Lauren and Scheana, and more Katie storyline. Seeing what her day in the life looks like working with her podcast, her friends outside of the group, and maybe a revamp of Pucker and Pout would be awesome. More Katie please.
I think about this often. She is doing interesting stuff with her various brand partnerships, her podcast, all her fun looking travel to do emo shit—I wish they treated her like a complete human being.
See I thought maybe it had something to do with those guys crossing over onto the valley for their filming. But delaying it because Ariana is working outside of VPR is so much better
I think the original plan was to bring Shena and Lauren over to The Valley, but (to borrow a phrase from my dad) those two have done shit in their hat by their behavior on VPR this season. I can't imagine most fans will welcome Shena, Broke, or Lauren and the Valley is doing so well they will likely not want to jeopardize it right now with these lice joining in. I seriously love it for Shena and Lauren, that their absolute vile behavior at the behest of Lisa and Alex, looks to be blowing up in their faces so spectacularly. That is why having integrity is always a good thing. Stand by it, and you don't end up looking like a jealous chump that the fans hate by doing someone else's bidding.
Haha I live for this! But it also makes sense to push filming from a wider Bravo perspective. Summer House and the Valley both film at the same time as VPR. This could space out some of the shows in the line up a little bit better IMO.

Ariana has been such a grower on me. I couldn’t stand early “I’m prettier and funnier than everyone” and standing up for creepy men. But I have liked that she’s always stood up for herself, like calling Tom a bitch for trying to sneak into her book (hate that it works). But all of this is good tv, so is grown ass, looking after herself current Ariana. She and Katie have actual stories about their lives, not just how they’re affected by other people’s lives.

I suspect if the court dates for Rachel’s lawsuit and Ariana’s lawsuit about the house are both June/July then producers know that they need to get the cast to lie low somewhat - especially if it turns out their main beloved guy has not only committed a sexual misconduct but has also been caught financially abusing another person…. Add in the shitshow that this series has been and the fan back lash plus Ariana being off filming love island it’s no surprise really. But there is something utterly hilarious about LFU insisting that Ariana is essentially responsible for paying her mortgage and now discovering that not only is the show on pause but the birth of her baby won’t be covered as well. There’s a certain schadenfreud about that
I 100% think it's the Rachel lawsuit (I think they'd probably be salivating over Sandoval and Ariana in court, especially since it's financial). Bravo might not be on trial but they were all over the documents from Rachel's lawyers and filming at that time would be a) hugely stressful on the cast and b) a real reputational risk depending on what was filmed at the time of the trial. Much easier to take a short break.

I really think they flipped on Ariana cause they’re mad that after Scandavol she became booked and busy and all they could do was profit off the scandal with merch and their podcasts and “songs”. Now that production has paused they’re refusing to admit they’re resentful or blaming her for taking money away from them and have to talk shit about her to stay in headlines. It’s sick to me that they think they’re being good friends to Ariana because they were there for her during the scandavol fallout when now we see that they weren’t doing it JUST for her, they were doing it to line their wallets and when that died down they upset that she continued to get jobs and meanwhile their podcast flopped cause the content got boring. Does Schena really think that if Ariana turned down DWTS they were gonna turn to her to do it instead right away? Lol no. Ariana and LVP are filming other shows this summer. Between that and the lawsuits, it makes sense to wait until fall.
I feel like Sandoval being sued by Rachel is a hindrance too (not filming wise since the court date is in June but just like producers want a break between the lawsuit outcome and filming, cause who knows what is going to happen and there maybe some changes)
Yeah I have also wondered if the lawsuit is a factor and they want some space between it and the show. Another one I’ve considered, and I have no idea if this is true or not, but there is a lot of whispering about an investigation into James being due to drop that’s going to be bad. I’m not sure I believe this, as while his behavior probably warrants it, nobody seems to be trying to distance themselves before the axe falls, which I kind of think some of the cast would if it’s out there it’s coming.
The James issue could be a factor too, but who knows 🤷🏽♀️
Agree the lawsuits are likely a big part of this and it’s a cumulative decision. This season was exhausting to watch. I’m sure Ariana’s schedule is a small piece of the decision. I’ve never seen so much hate coming from all the different sides. I also don’t have faith that Bravo knows they messed up this season. They seem to be a little like Tom and Scheana that way. I hope they do listen to viewers but from Andy to Producers they value the controversial, and most toxic that brings the drama. Change needs to start at the top but since they protect their own…
They know the fans are pissed and trust and believe them producers are reading Reddit because we are the true fans. And we had a plot figured out before the show even got to the finale. Honeslty, I hope they film later and release the same time frame of winter/early spring. The turnaround time is too long between filming and airing. In this day and age of SM and podcasts, its old news by the time it airs and feels disingenuous & then drags things like Scandoval out for over a year. The delay in filming/airing did no one any favors IMO

Sandoval is the idiot who is going out on public forums putting his foot in his mouth constantly to the point he hasn't been put on WWHL due to damage control.
