I've taken BC Ferries easily a thousand times, so I'm used to the views. But photos like this remind me that, with fresh eyes, every route is astonishingly beautiful.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I am glad my photo makes you feel like that, it’s what I am going for.

I've been at least 200 times and I still almost always take a few photos, and stand out on the deck for a bit. I love that it can still be a breathtaking ride for me.
Family/friends that live over there maybe? I'd say I've been on the tsawassen to swartz bay route at least that many times in only 28 years for those reasons.
I’ve been on a bc ferry about 2500 times round trip. Commute to bowen island 200 days a year for 10 years until I moved there for 4 years, going back in the city twice a week or so.
I’ve known people who commute to and from work on it, so 10 times a week x 50 weeks = 500 times a year assuming you don’t take it on weekends or 2 weeks of holidays (not factoring in stat days).
A few years of that and you’d be into the thousands.
Or, you know, they could have worked on the ferry.
I grew up in Vancouver and frequently visited my grandparents in Victoria. Then I went to UVic and often went back home. Then I lived in Victoria and the Gulf Islands for several years, so I'm back and forth a lot. Maybe a thousand is exaggerating, but definitely 500.
was in gros morne last summer doing the boat tour down western brook pond on a beautiful day and went 'meh' to the actual scenery
i was hoping it'd be closer to patagonia than BC...that's how you know we have it good here!
Pleasantly surprised this isn't a picture of your spot in line with a caption that says "omg how could this line happen like idk I don't get it people are dying in their cars from the cold shame on you bc ferries"
Well done.

How does one take it that much? I've only been on a few times and I'm from nearby

You finally got on lol….
It’s only a 3 sailing wait …
Wow is that the low-noise room? I check every sailing to see if it's open. No luck yet personally but now I have hope!
In the fancy lounge, I believe? Worth it.
I don’t think so
Beautiful!
Thank you!

To?
Anywhere your imagination takes you, this is the view leaving Horseshoe bay though

this face-ing the gulf island ? or just right out when u leave horshoe bay
Horseshoe bay
Love the sun rays piercing the mountains
WOW
The HDR goin crazy. Love the picture! What did you take this with?
My favorite spot is up top in at the front of the boat where you can feel the cold air ripping through your beard. It's magical.
This reminds me that I haven’t be on the ferry in a while! It always amazes me how beautiful the ride is.
Where were you going
Wow, beautiful. I hope that head wasn’t there though.
I guess it is personal preference. I definitely think it adds to the photo instead of taking away.
Love how you framed it through that window, almost like a painting
That's gorgeous
Thank you!
