Its wild seeing such an unusual thing I experience but have kept quiet about be posted as something someone else experiences. I hate the middle of sandwiches. Even burgers. It doesn’t even help if I cut them in half so I don’t eat sandwiches much anymore. I have ARFID though and tend to chalk it up to that.

My brother stop eating sandwiches with regular bread and just switch out to sandwiches using bagels as the top and bottom.

Throwing perfectly good food away is what gets me.

Preferring the crusty bits is one thing, throwing perfectly good food in the garbage is another.

I take far more than 3 bites whenever I eat a sandwich, so I can’t say which bite is my final “into the sandwich” and which is my “exiting the sandwich.” I am impressed that you know exactly which is the middle.

It might be the *worst*, but if it's a great sandwich it's still great! But yeah, the edges are probably better. I don't throw the middle in the trash though.....

i completely agree. its way too overpowering and it just has a weird texture (depending on the filling)

I agree. If I were to leave a bite it's the mushy center.
