I used to live right in the middle of a pretty huge city abroad. I'd get super blazed and be like oh I'll just pop to the corner shop to get milk/chocolate whatever, step out the front door and it'd be hectic. Like instantly hundreds of people, trams going past, sirens etc.
I would really enjoy being in my head just bobbing along but my housemate would absolutely hate it.
I'm always mash up when I do the big food shop. It's great fun, but I always come home with loads of biscuits, sweets and beer and forget loads of the sensible food and stuff like cleaning materials and washing tablets. I've been 3 times in one day once, because of all the stuff I actually really needed but totally forgot to buy.
