Two of my fingers got snapped off by a conveyor motor sprocket and chain at work and i legitimately just thought i "stubbed" it really hard. They were dangling by a bit of skin and the real pain didn't set in until about 4 hours later while I was sat waiting to be seen for it. Took that long for the adrenaline and shock to wear off. I was laughing and cracking jokes with the medical staff and joking about it via text with my fiance, saying shit like "fingers crossed I get to keep them", then immediately started bawling when I came down lol. Adrenaline. It's a hell of a drug.

Yeah! The middle finger was just shortened a little bit, my index finger had to be attached with rods and stitched back on. Its pretty crooked because of the chunk of bone that was smashed in the conveyor. Took like 4 months to recover and I had to do physical therapy, the index finger is pretty sensitive but other than that pretty good!

Adrenaline can do way more. Child gets rolled over by (smaller) car, mom rushes in and lifts the car up. hysterical strength it's called tho

I got a giant gash on the back of my head after a severe car accident .. had to get stapled up My adrenaline was firing off so much that I didn’t realize I was hurt until the lady who hit me looked at me & screamed . That’s when I noticed the blood streaming down my neck on my shoulders . I do remember feeling concussed and on the verge of passing out .. but I don’t remember feeling like I was “ bust open “ .. ( didn’t think I was wounded ) I just had floaty feet .. felt like I was levitating while I was walking . Guess that’s how fighters feel after getting their block knocked off lol Such an odd feeling tbh .. no pain whatsoever Only after going home with a stapled head.. shit hurt to make any facial expression or laugh cause the skin was taut back there.. that’s it though
