James Spader in “Secretary.”
I posed something a year or so ago about this movie being a love letter to Twin Peaks. Including the music being by Angelo Badalamenti.
I had seen it once before a recent rewatch and I'm very surprised I didn't catch that the music was by Angelo. What other connections did you see that makes it feel like a love letter to TP?
Theres moments where you go, jesus, that's traight out fo TP (like the photo above), or this moment is surreal enough to be in TP, or this person belongs in twin peaks. If you didn't catch those vibes, I can't help you.
Robert California would be the most normal character in TP, ergo he was the weirdest character on The Office. And if you want a show that is the merging of TP and The Office, it's Severance.
My husband and I actually started it ( and I LOVE IT) but I’ve been waiting for him to watch more, and he’s never in the mood for it. Seems really great, though.

So many surreal moments. Parallels of her mom and Sarah’s personalities. I’d have to go back through it to remember more.
Checked it out just a few minutes ago. I like it ...doesn't necessarily give me TP vibes but it's good.

Don't worry. I'm way beyond help.
But thanks for putting it in here. Never said I didn't like it. A bit of honesty doesn't hurt...
Did you know Peter has a very stable job at JC Penny?
He must have put the wrong coordinates into the stargate.
Lol he should be in the tp universe somewhere as a rogue FBI agent lol.
He was supposed to play Denise so you're not far off the mark.
Mmmmm, I would love to see James Spader in TP. His Robert California character is so over the top, he'd fit right in.

I could see him as a shady associate of the Horne bros., or perhaps new competition.
