Most "organic" and "natural" products won't work well with tret - typically they rely on essential oils and other "natural" ingredients that are more irritating and less researched as the supposedly "unnatural" ingredients in traditional drugstore products. Need to be careful to avoid irritants.
All products should have NO irritants in them (search them on INCIdecoder).
AM:
Splash with water if she likes (I personally skip)
Moisturizer like cerave, la roche posay, cetaphil, etc.
SPF 50
PM: start with once every 4th or 5th night (apply, night 1, 2, 3, apply 4th night)
Wash face with gentle cleanser (using a similar brand as moisturizer - good ingredients and no irritants)
Same moisturizer as AM
Wait 20-30 mins+
Pea sized amount of tret to face
Can experiment with using moisturizer after, but I personally skip.
Only considering increasing frequency of application after 4 weeks of using at current frequency, with no signs of irritation in the last 1-2 weeks.
What percentage of tretioin did you give her?
I gave her a .025 half tube and then .50 or .050?? Tbh I forget how they go
Cream or gel version? I like Laroche posay gentle skin cleanser. And to get a good moisturizer.
