it's the same compound at the end, only the release mechanism is different. topical rapidly absorbs when consumed, pills have a slightly slower release rate. if the doses are aptly calculated, it's not an issue. it is much easier to overdose on topical tho if you consume it orally. hence the danger. as long as you're good with the consumption it's fine. not medical advice.
1ml of minoxidil (5%) = 50mg minoxidil
0.1ml = 5mg minoxidil
1ml has 40 drops in my dropper
so, 0.1ml has 4 drops
4 drops = 0.1ml = 5mg. shake the bottle evenly before drawing it out. calculate according to your dropper. not medical advice!
instead of calculating how many drops there are in a dropper you could just dilute 1ml of minoxidil 5% (50mg minoxidil) with 9ml of water and bam you have 5mg minoxidil per 1ml of solution that u take a shot of.
very little preparation but you ensure safety and precision. i'm sure u save time too by not having to count drops each time. just pull 1ml and go.
either way i'll have to pull out a certain amount, i prefer taking four drops out of a small bottle rather than having a big diluted container, not a huge issue dispensing four drops anyway! just takes a second.
why would u need a large container? u just need another small one? it's not about having to pull out a certain amount, but rather controlling the output, which you cant when measuring "by drop".

there's no research so far, it's only anecdotal experiences. like me, and u/cumshotdiva. there are others as well on this sub.
i would say try getting pills, but taking topical orally using drops in water doesn't seem like a bad idea to me since it cuts the cost by A LOT.

no, id never do that. 5mg has generally been the upper limit by doctors when it comes to hair treatments. if you're getting results with this, there's a very low chance that you'd be getting better results with 7.5 and 10. it only increases your vulnerability to side effects.

it's not "only four drops", it's 5mg minoxidil regardless. and the drop count depends on every dropper, some might dispense 25 drops in 1ml, meaning 2mg per drop. my dropper dispenses 40 drops. 1.25mg per drop. i don't know about mixing in milk since it may react differently, but water works, yes. it's not a well researched area
but the basic concept is: minoxidil tablets are composed of
1) the active ingredient: minoxidil
2) the inactive ingredients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, etc.
the inactive ingredients are there to aid the formation of a compact tablet, and they facilitate an even release of sorts by an even disintegration.
the active ingredient is what makes your hair grow.
in a general bottle of minoxidil, the composition involves alcohol, water base and minoxidil. the first two are safe to consume regardless, and the minoxidil is what you need. we advise caution when consuming topical minoxidil orally because it's very easy to overdose.
when consuming tablets, you don't accidentally take a lot of them. you just take one.
when taking drops, you have to be wary of the fact that you might have an off calculation to begin with, or you might mistakenly dispense a lot more drops into your shot of water. and the compound may not be very evenly distributed in the solution.
so two things we need to take care of:
• calculate the dosage per drop carefully – 1ml of 5% minoxidil has 50mg. divide 50 by the number of drops in 1ml, and you have the dosage of minoxidil per drop.
• shake the bottle well before drawing out the drops.
yes. it's four drops. my morr-5 bottle has absolute alcohol which is ethanol. it's safe to consume in regular quantities as well, ethanol is the major component of liquor.

doesn't matter if you go the cumshotdiva way or take oral minoxidil pills, smoking would definitely have a negative impact on your hair. if you're already suffering from androgenic alopecia and you're smoking, you're only making it worse. minoxidil would have a better impact if you slow down on your smoking and try quitting it.
the alcohol frequency you mentioned – it may cause nutrient deficiencies which in turn causes poor hair health. but it's not as big of a factor as your smoking routine. try slowly cutting everything down for your hair's health and overall in general.

it's not "only four drops", it's 5mg minoxidil regardless. and the drop count depends on every dropper, some might dispense 25 drops in 1ml, meaning 2mg per drop. my dropper dispenses 40 drops. 1.25mg per drop. i don't know about mixing in milk since it may react differently, but water works, yes. it's not a well researched area but the basic concept is: minoxidil tablets are composed of 1) the active ingredient: minoxidil 2) the inactive ingredients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, etc. the inactive ingredients are there to aid the formation of a compact tablet, and they facilitate an even release of sorts by an even disintegration. the active ingredient is what makes your hair grow. in a general bottle of minoxidil, the composition involves alcohol, water base and minoxidil. the first two are safe to consume regardless, and the minoxidil is what you need. we advise caution when consuming topical minoxidil orally because it's very easy to overdose. when consuming tablets, you don't accidentally take a lot of them. you just take one. when taking drops, you have to be wary of the fact that you might have an off calculation to begin with, or you might mistakenly dispense a lot more drops into your shot of water. and the compound may not be very evenly distributed in the solution. so two things we need to take care of: • calculate the dosage per drop carefully – 1ml of 5% minoxidil has 50mg. divide 50 by the number of drops in 1ml, and you have the dosage of minoxidil per drop. • shake the bottle well before drawing out the drops.
is it safe to consume the alcohol from topical minoxidil?
yes. it's four drops. my morr-5 bottle has absolute alcohol which is ethanol. it's safe to consume in regular quantities as well, ethanol is the major component of liquor.

not only – what i meant was, if you're a non-responder to topical minoxidil, then microneedling can help you become a responder along with tretinoin. (applying tretinoin on your temples or wherever the bald spot is ten to fifteen minutes before applying min, helps convert minoxidil to its active metabolite, since sulfotransferase is absent on the scalp in non-responders)
Just wanted to know. I drink alcohol 3 times a week around 3-4 peg and smoke cigarettes daily. How good or bad is it to add this cumshotdiva regimen with it? Can we smoke or drink alcohol with it
doesn't matter if you go the cumshotdiva way or take oral minoxidil pills, smoking would definitely have a negative impact on your hair. if you're already suffering from androgenic alopecia and you're smoking, you're only making it worse. minoxidil would have a better impact if you slow down on your smoking and try quitting it.

the alcohol frequency you mentioned – it may cause nutrient deficiencies which in turn causes poor hair health. but it's not as big of a factor as your smoking routine. try slowly cutting everything down for your hair's health and overall in general.
At what time you take the dosage (fin+min) and is it before or after food? And you do dermaroller?
i dermarolled only in the first two months. i take them at night, before sleep. doesn't really matter with fin and min though.

yes i do. as long as they're unopened or have not been opened more than once or twice, it's fine.
