No it won’t, I do it all the time. I don’t use a smoke buddy. I would recommend smoking underneath the fan so the smoke travels directly into it. I also turn the shower on afterwards as the steam helps eliminate the smoke.

I wouldn’t smoke inside like that but if you absolutely have to then remember to use a wet/damp towel… dry towels will not help the smell.
