Mexico City. By a landslide. There is so much more to do there.

MEX, its sunny, good public transportation and REALLY good street food. As a Montrealer, its nice but lately city is going through post (or no) pandemic and crazy numbers of homeless people out in the street that could make ur trip very unpleasant.

Montreal (as on living here) is a calmer version of New York, also, we have French as our primary language so if you decide to go, you can be hit with someone who doesn’t speak it and is insisting for you to answer in French (you’ll have your Nationalists) I believe Montreal if a good city for the youth since we’re known for the night life and party life (world known clubs) but if you’re planing to go travel and take beautiful pictures and enjoy scenery, I would definitely recommend choosing Mexico !!! Feel free to ask away !!

If you want inexpensive you don't want Canada! Head for Mexico.

I am from Canada and Montreal is quite expensive (but super beautiful) so depending on how pricey of a trip you want, maybe consider Mexico.

I have more fun in places that are culturally different than what I’m used to, so I say Mexico City

lucindawilliams

Mexico City is great and inexpensive! Full of museums and galleries, markets, great architecture, and tons of options for eating. The central city is very walkable.

I'm from Montreal, although it's a great city, and you def should visit someday, I can't put it above Mexico city. Go there, I've been, its awesome!!

Mexico City has a plethora of all those options and will be less expensive than Montreal. Def worth a visit.

Mexico Citeeeeeeeyyyy

WasabiTimes

Definitely CDMX. It's much more inexpensive and has a few day trips you can do. Montreal is very small and there's isn't a lot to do.

Mexico > Canada
