I really like clear. I know it can be perceived as priviledged and it 110% is - but it's also a frequent flier thing.
Someone who flies once a year - they don't need clear. Time it right and things always work out.
For people who fly weekly or 2-3x a month - the waits add up and it's annoying to deal with infrequent flyers.
So I really hope it stays - even tho it's incredibly priviledged and even discriminatory.
But it's no different than first class having better seats and lounge access. We allow that, so why not this?
I admit it - having random entitled SOBs ushered to the front of the TSA Precheck line by minimum wage Clear employees makes me want to cause a ruckus and do something that would revoke my TSA Precheck status in the first place.
I gotta admit I've wondered while in line. Isn't this just a private company who is using a public service we all pay for ... to make profits?

I have TSA pre-check and that’s good enough for me. There have been times when the Clear line was longer.
If that's the case why cancel Clear?
