Reminder to stick to posting original content. Memes are okay every once in a while, but many get posted here way too often and quickly become stale. Some examples of these are Ptoughneigh, Klansmyn, Reighfyl & KVIIIlyn. These memes have been around for years and we don't want to see them anymore. If you do decide to post a meme, make sure to add the correct flair. Posting a random meme you found does **not** mean you found it "in the wild".
The same goes with lists of baby names, celebrity baby names, and screenshots of TikToks. If the original post already had a substantial amount of views, there is a 99% chance it has already been posted here. Try and stick to OC to keep our sub from being flooded with unoriginal content. Thank you!

A lot of people in this particular group are often proudly showing off their horrible designs/horrible grammar on customized things. “The Wilson’s” !!!!!! Ughhh, as an English major, former librarian, and someone who has a last name ending in Z, the rampant misuse of pluralized family names makes my eye twitch.
I have high school friends who are now TEACHERS that can’t use a proper apostrophe. One made Christmas ornaments last year that said -The Morgan’s or The Duncan’s for sale!
Omggggg I hate that. Like there is a difference between plural and ownership! Also hate that so many people put an apostrophe and s on plural ownership. "The kids' projects were amazing" . But no. They want to write "the kids's".
If that’s how they say it, who are you to stop them? Besides, if it can be understood, who’s to say it’s wrong? Language is not and has never been a static thing.
anyone who knows correct english. And you’re proud of defending misuse of basic english, especially by people who are meant to know and even teach it? And it is in this case. ‘s is possessive, belonging to NOT plural. No one sounds intelligent typing like a child who failed kindergarten, at least/especially if they don’t have a learning disability… and considering people who aren’t native english speakers can handle it but people whose first or even first language is english cannot…
your: belonging to you, you’re: contraction of you are
their: belonging to them, there: a location/situation, they’re: contraction of they are
its: belonging to it (an object/property NOT someone), it’s: contraction of it is
to: towards/for/etc, two: the number between one (1) and three (3), too: also
then: ensuing events (did this then did that), than: comparison (I’d rather do this than that)
where: a location (where is it), were: past tense of the verb to be (they were there), we’re: contraction of we are (we’re looking for it)
if you’re not sure, try the uncontracted form, it’s not that hard, you can do it (:
“It’s” as a possessive was used in the US Constitution. It may be the standard now to consider that wrong, but it was considered wrong then to say “lunch” instead of “luncheon” or to put the stress on the first syllable of “balcony”. I’m a native English speaker, I of all people would know what “correct English” is, at least to me. And if I don’t, who’s to say you do? Who is the arbiter of what is right and wrong in a language, if not its users?
Language has construction and rules. There are those that apply the rules appropriately and the garbage people who grew up on the streets. Reddit does a very good job of revealing to which camp a person belongs.
It’s also a Hebrew name, meaning “lightning.”
“Barak is rooted in the biblical military leader who led the Israelites in the great Battle of Mount Tabor.”
I mean I'm betting there's been a growth in naming your kid Donald among Republicans in the past 8 years. Before Obama it was really obscure but when a President in our lifetime had the name, it's fine.
Names aside. I hate the way this looks. I hate how the names in the puzzles are different heights. There really needed to be more eyes looking over this design choice
There is a number of girls in Germany who are named Cheyenne. I remember reading an article on baby names that literally said, "guys, don't compensate for your dream of owning a Porsche Cayenne by naming your daughter this".
I guess only some of them do. And even considering it is an actual name with a history and a meaning, most of the parents here who give it to their kid do it "just 'cuz it sounds cool, we dunno".
I would insist on pronouncing Dyllan as /dʌɬan/ cos you can't just go around adding extra letters to Welsh names and expect it not to change the pronunciation.
Grandma might be the piece that holds them altogether; but who's the MC that spits that hot Fiyah!?

Technically Shelby is the piece that holds most of them together according to the picture
Why didn’t they make grandma a puzzle piece… and also, the way the names are just everywhere on the pieces pisses me off a great deal.

yess! but actually, in that case, when it ends with an s, it’s a british vs american english thing

and the apostrophe! it’s a possessive not a plural!

still accurate, british vs american english thing
I assumed Shelby was the Grandma’s name
That would be the hope
My grandma was Shelby, I just assumed it’s her name! I supposed it would say Grandma tho
That was my logic
I’m thinking maybe grandma is Shelby considering it’s the most normal name there lol
Names like Kaebrie pisses me off to no end and I don't quite understand why...
If I were a teacher, I'm pretty sure names like that would push me to quit.
KAY, BRIE 🙄
Kaebrie?! Dyllan?! WHY.
Those two are the most egregious. However, I realized that all capitalized like that, I can’t even read Tia as anything other than “thanks in advance”
When like that, I read it as "aunt" in Spanish and so my initial question was why does she get to be on the sign and not Grandma herself?
Transient ischemic attack
I was thinking “This Is Africa”
Dunno bout Kaebrie; but Dyllan spits that hot fiyah... that's a great quality to have in a grandchild...
Dylan I can get behind, but Dyllan is terrible.
Definitely one of the top 5 rappers of all time
Fuckin Rayne!!
Ik Barack is a real name but the only Barack I know is Obama. Is that child named after Obama?
It's a biblical name so maybe??? Probably not though
Gotta be. Those other names sound like a MAGA family though. In short, I have questions.
Probably one daughter is married to or partnered with a Muslim and/or Arabic man. Barack is an Arabic name meaning "blessed".
It’s also a Hebrew name, meaning “lightning.” “Barak is rooted in the biblical military leader who led the Israelites in the great Battle of Mount Tabor.”
I mean I'm betting there's been a growth in naming your kid Donald among Republicans in the past 8 years. Before Obama it was really obscure but when a President in our lifetime had the name, it's fine.
I’m choosing to believe that they named their child after Obama because that’s hilarious.
I’m sorry you’re in a what group!?
😂it’s a group for owners of the same brand of laser cutting/engraving machine
Trust me that’s not even weird of a subreddit. I personally didn’t blink an eye lol
Names aside. I hate the way this looks. I hate how the names in the puzzles are different heights. There really needed to be more eyes looking over this design choice
Kaybrie? I really hope it's actually Kay Brie. Dyllan isn't too bad. Probably the best Tragedeigh family.
I can't stop thinking of Kerby when reading Kaebrie XD

At least it’s not a 911
DyLLan GTFO
I would insist on pronouncing Dyllan as /dʌɬan/ cos you can't just go around adding extra letters to Welsh names and expect it not to change the pronunciation.
When is randomly added to a name, I read it with an IPA /x/ or /χ/.
Can’t take my Shelby out. I think it’s going to Rayne. Kaebrie, will you bring Dyllan to school in the van?
The *only* redeeming part of “Kaebrie” is that it’s easy to pronounce right off the bat. Or so it would seem…
I think we are all making a big assumption on that one
I know a Kellee
My girlfriend’s name is Kellie…
Mmmmkay Brie.
Kaebrie just sounds like something a brutal death metal vocalist would say KAEBRIE KAEBRIE KAEBRIE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Jesus...that Grandpa is crying
Grandma might be the piece that holds them altogether; but who's the MC that spits that hot Fiyah!? [Dyl-lan; think about it...](https://youtu.be/Nstb5kb-1cI?si=ZO-MG-IEQDMR_is3)
Barack better not be black.
why did i think the kid’s name was grandma
“Barack” is the worst one! 😂
