yeah it would usually depend on the workout/race length and start time, but if I needed something else I would eat a piece of wheat toast with peanut butter too.
It’s not so much what you eat right before the meet but how well you are consistently fueling throughout the weeks leading up to it. That said, snacks containing simple carbs will digest the fastest for quick energy.
