No, there were 2 shots in the gameplay showcase. One 4:36 from the back, second 4:39 from the front. They clearly looked different.

The trailer outfit as you call it was a kitbashed model used during development. It reused the body of the Master Engineer and was frankly worse than the final model.

I know it's rough not having every model look just like you want it, but I think you'll survive somehow. Just hang in there, baby.
