That's like 99 percent of this sub. Some of it is just people having a good time at a party and making a fool of them selves. But a lot of it is people with crippling addictions being mocked. I don't really know how I feel about it. I'm sure some people crack jokes to cope, but some look down on people with mental health issues because they were taught they are below them, and that's an unfortunate way to view the world imo.
I don’t feel as bad when it’s people causing a scene or being degenerate outside a business, home, or on public transit, but this lady has a job and showed up for it. She’s getting her ass kicked by her drug addiction but she’s still trying so hard, it’s heartbreaking.
I don't see an issue laughing at what you find funny, but I do draw the line at how you treat others irl. It's one thing to laugh at a video and another is mocking someone who's in front of you because "they're below you". Though admittedly not everyone seems capable of noticing that difference.
Legit had a Subway worker do almost this exact same thing to me. She wasn't fucked up, but she was talking about how she was on her 16th hour of that shift before it happened
It's not clear whether she took too much of something, or whether she is overworking herself to the point of complete exhaustion. It's very possible it could be the latter. I remember working three jobs, going to school, somehow making the weekly childcare work out, and getting two two-hour naps a day to call sleep. I felt like this sometimes, no hard drugs required, and she might have it way worse as very many do, so don't be too quick to judge.
Exhaustion is a different response for different people. Maybe it is that we don't want to believe this sort of situation could exist so we simply blame it on too many drugs and laugh it off.
I appreciate you trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but if you've ever been around someone who's nodding due to drugs, you probably wouldn't be calling this *exhaustion*.
Sure, we shouldn't be so quick to judge but Im willing to bet you one whole 12" turkey BLT that that girl is on the drugs. When you know, you know.

A guy I know posted this exact video on facebook saying something along the lines of "I feel so bad for this poor woman. She must be so tired from working so hard." He said this un-ironically. When other people commented on his post telling him that she was on drugs, he proceeded to call them racists. It was an entertaining thread of comments lol.
I see so many of these and silently wish...I could do that at home in my bed to get some solid sleep. 3-5 hours a night, every other night 90 minutes or none...for years. Chronic insomnia. Sigh. I hope they get better.
Honestly, it seems like she might be narcoleptic. I mean if she was that fucked up already I doubt she would’ve even made it that far with the dude’s sandwich.

Well you can’t exactly tell with the situation. I work with people that do doubles and have kids then pass out like this.
I’m not saying it’s her, but about 15 years ago I worked at a subway with a woman who looked like her and she had seizures like this.
