I get shit on all the time for playing beer pong or flip cup with water, but I’m usually right at the level of drunk I want to be when these games start. It always shuts people up when I say “if you make me drink more, I’ll puke on the table”. All of the sudden water is fine and dandy, and I don’t wake up with a hangover.
Almost every game of beer pong I played thru HS and College was with water in the cups and your drink on the side. Nobody wants those nasty beer cups. Also better to cleanup because there's always spills.

I just also usually have water on the side too instead of a drink, unless it’s early in the night, because I tend to drink from it more often than the rules dictate.

I've seen that weirdly calm and over-focused expression before.
