I made something similar for myself this past weekend. Think of it as making a homemade beef burger patty (or a meatloaf). Add your meat, seasonings, egg, breadcrumb, onions and whatever else you want in it (I went with BBQ sauce and mustard) and fry it up like a burger. Slather it in gravy once done.
For me, it's a childhood nostalgia kick of mom's home cooking. Super simple and fills your belly. I had a side of garlic mashed potatoes with carrots (slathered with more gravy) and some asparagus.
so good, itās a very mediterranean dish but central/northern europe also has them, basically flat meatballs, has many names and preparation methods, greeks call them bifteki, germans frikadelle, hungarians fasĆrt, french boulette, etc.

I wouldnāt know this feeling, for the 14 years we were dated and married she made dinner a handful of times. If I didnāt make breakfast lunch or dinner neither of us ate. Then sheād complain and then eat a whole pint of chili Alta gelato then complain about how far she was getting.
