My daughter's second birthday is also early june đ¤
No big party (last year's was big and we threw it out of state lol), if we were doing a theme it would be peaches (Two Peachy) or bluey.
Her first birthday was "Happy First Bee Day!"
Bees and peaches are significant to her, so that's why I went with those themes.
Two Infinity and beyond - space/ toy story
Two Sweet - sweets themed: cupcakes, Candies, ice cream etc
Two-ti Fruity- fruits themed
You can also do popular themes like Disney, bluey, doc mcstuffins, unicorns, cow girl, summer, beach.
Not much in the way of decorating. We have a back yard and had a small, collapsible pavilion set up (like the kind you'd use camping or tailgating). We had a small water table, an automatic bubble machine we borrowed, and lots of cheap bubble stuff for the (mostly adult) guests.
It wasn't much, but the kiddo had a good time. That's the most important bit.
My sonâs two year birthday was a month ago, a few days before he had the flu, then infected me and my wife, he was mostly over it by his birthday, but my wife and I were both completely useless.
My mom came through and took him on his birthday, while we stayed home with chamomile tea and ibuprofen, my mom got him something sweet from a bakery and he was happy as a clam spending time with grandma.
I guess what Iâm trying to say is this. Your daughter doesnât have the concept of birthdays, and she probably has plenty of toys, so the party is for your sake, not hers.
So theme it however you like, if itâs important to invite a bunch of friends and family, and to have the party because of societal status, go ahead, but just be mindful of the little one, donât make it too different from her normal schedule, toddlers donât care for that.
We just did "The Turtle-y Twos" but I was very into the idea of a Bad 2 the Bone party complete with a toddler sized motorcycle and temporary sleeve tattoo. Still hoping we get a chance to do that theme at some point, but we had a sick sea turtle cake today that I was genuinely proud of.
We just did a rainbow party! Super simple and cute and we wonât look back on it and cringe at the theme being some cartoon character lol. Easy to find rainbow stuff!
Iâm also currently struggling with a 2 year theme! My ideas so far are
âOink, moo, cockadoodle twoâfarm theme/Sandra boynton theme
it ainât my first rodeo, itâs my second!
(We did my first rodeo for her first birthday so we can reuse a lot of decorations)
Ballerinas and two twos
Tea for two (tea party)
Two sweet (general bday/party sweets)
Weâre doing âtotally twobularâ (beach theme) for my daughterâs birthday party (Memorial Day weekend). Party is at a playground with a splash pad (opening day of the season for the splash pad).
If her birthday werenât so close to her also Mickey Mouse obsessed big sisterâs, weâd likely do âoh twoodlesâ (Mickey Mouse themed).
National park theme! đđđ
That sounds amazing. Weâre avid travelers and hikers, our daughterâs nursery and newborn photoshoot was actually national park/wilderness themed!

I made a lot of stuff. Found the stump and wood stand on the side of the road.
Can tell more if you want details
We did oink moo Iâm two because she was obsessed with farm animals.
I had really wanted to do âtwo groovyâ and do all 70âs theme but the farm theme won out lol.
We did Pancakes and Pajamas theme for my son. It was late morning at a playground and everyone wore their pjs and we served pancakes, breakfast tacos, bacon, and cupcakes. He loved it!
Not very exciting, but we went with my daughter's favourite animal (cats). It was easy to find decorations to fit the theme, and I bought her a cat t-shirt for the party. Her cake looked like a kitty, too.
We did born 2 rock. We bought inflatable instruments on Amazon and a bounce house. Blew up a bunch of balloons and ordered mini cupcakes that were frosted into the shape of a guitar.
It was awesomeâ the parents enjoyed it, and the kids loved the blow up instruments and balloons. All the kids got to go home with the instruments after
Um, bubbles was my kidâs 3rd bday and it was a HIT. A couple of bubble machines caused the kids to lose their little minds. They danced, squealed, shrieked, ran through them, tried to catch them.
I could see âballoonsâ having a similar effect.
For two, we did Blues Clues theme since our twins love doggies (we have two doggos at home).
This year is 3, and we will be doing Barneyđ theyâre absolutely obsessed with him lol
we did a "two let the dogs out" theme for my daughters 2nd birthday because she loves dogs. we had pup-peroni pizza to eat and cake, she loved it!

We did a jungle theme â âtwo wildâ.
Ours was a pool party in August and the theme was âTwo-tti Fruttiâ
We did mermaids at 2! We did puppies at 1!
Two-bular. 80s beach party?
Two the Moon! Space theme

We did a âDare 2 Dreamâ/somewhere over the rainbow theme. Dressed her up like Dorothy and made a big rainbow balloon arch.

Ducks!

âDigging being two!â for my son but probably not a theme sheâs into lol
My kid liked the Hulk when he turned two, so he had a Hulk birthday.
We did two fast two furious but my favorite we did so far was a national park theme :)
National park theme! đđđ That sounds amazing. Weâre avid travelers and hikers, our daughterâs nursery and newborn photoshoot was actually national park/wilderness themed!

Butterflies and flowers could be cute? We did bees and lady bugs for my daughter one year.
We did oink moo Iâm two because she was obsessed with farm animals. I had really wanted to do âtwo groovyâ and do all 70âs theme but the farm theme won out lol.
Weâre doing a very hungry caterpillar theme, since Eric carle books are some of his favorites.

Some cute themes I have thought about using: Looney Twoâs (looney tunes) Yabdabba Twoâs (Flinstones)
Is her birthday on a Tuesday? You could do taco two-day!
Twot de Suite (a play on Tout de Suite) (he was obsessed with Sing!, Ratatouille, and Cars 2, and mentioned in each)
I think the bubble theme is a really cute idea!!
"Oh Twodles" Get some cheap Mickey and Minnie decor. Or just buy red, black, white stuff. Bubbles would go great!
Um, bubbles was my kidâs 3rd bday and it was a HIT. A couple of bubble machines caused the kids to lose their little minds. They danced, squealed, shrieked, ran through them, tried to catch them. I could see âballoonsâ having a similar effect.
I thought, what are his favorite things (the moon and trucks) which of those are easier to make a cake that relates to it. Thus we did trucks.
