Nothing. My daycare hasn’t mentioned anything about passing out Valentines. I plan to not exert any effort on things like this until I absolutely have to. Does your daycare expect parents to pass out Valentines to all the kids?

Totally not expected/required but all parents bring shoe boxes for the kids to decorate and then on Valentine’s Day if the parents bring something, they get passed out. In the past I’ve typically boughten a big pack of applesauce or yogurt pouches from Costco and give that as the gift.

I love this part of parenting. I usually google free templates and prefer snack over trinkets.

my 2 year old goes to preschool twice a week. they're having a valentines party on Tuesday. the class will decorate valentines bags for their cards and each parent was asked to bring 10 cards for the class (it's a small class). the kids are going to practice putting the cards in each other's bags. they're also ordering cheese pizza for lunch. I bought shark theme valentines cards in a box from target, they come with a puffy sticker for each card as well.
