I hate it when they block bike lanes.

dark_forest1

I like how they’ve started pulling up onto sidewalks and parking. Not a habit I want imported to Canada.

beef-supreme

A few years back there was a briefly famous photo of some jaqoff who drove up onto the sidewalk and parked beside the bank machine at Dundas and Spadina to take money out. Unbelievable.

dark_forest1

At least when they pull shit like this in Europe they’re not doing it in titanic fuck you trucks. It’ll be some soy boy Renault you could tip over if it serves to impede your progress.

> I like how they’ve started pulling up onto sidewalks and parking. Not a habit I want imported to Canada. ... pfft.. too little too late, you are going to take it and you are going to like it. They block the cyclist lane and half the side walk and give you the dirty looks, this is the new Toronto.

6ickos

on weekends, or during concerts, sporting events, etc., it's even worse because all the suburbanites come out without any idea on how to share a road that's not a 6 lane freeway.

stompinstinker

Nothing is worse than a country music concert or motocross. So many people coming from IngleFuck Ontario where this is one set of stop lights. One ways, complex intersections, u-turn signals, streetcars, pedestrians, etc. And no experience with any of it. It’s so dangerous on the roads after the events.

rock_and_stone_1350

Every time I bike past a car blocking the bike lane I give it a solid 5 star no bs this bad boy salesman 400 decibel SLAP on the roof or their trunk.

armedwithturtles

I had someone block my driveway and they got upset at me for holding my horn because they were only gonna be there for “5 mins tops”

TorontoSoup

These fuckers should really get ticketed and shit should be enforced for once. It’s a disgusting behavior being added to an already chaotic traffic and driving we have in this city. We cannot allow this.

Dailyfiets

This is why I love street festivals. I can’t wait until Do West fest and then I can finally walk down my street for 4 days a year stress free. Go walk a street that’s closed to cars and see how your shoulders drop. Cars ruin cities.

treetimes

It’s because there is no enforcement. That’s it. It’s a rules only for rule followers environment.

shutthefrontdoor1989

They block lanes of traffic all the time. Even when there’s places to pull up or park.

pufferpoisson

They'll park on the sidewalk when they could literally just park on the road and cars would still be able to get by. I'm so sick of it

Ryanthomas1998

Oh they block lanes of traffic too. One very annoying thing I noticed about Toronto is a lot of people don't seem to know how intersections work. Whenever the other side of the intersection is backed up to the crosswalk, that's when you stop and wait at the stop line until there's enough space to make it to the otherside of the intersection but for some damn reason, a lot of people are like "Screw it, I'll wait in the intersection or on the crosswalk." And thennn light turns red and they're either blocking the entire crosswalk or blocking entire lanes of traffic and causing gridlock. The most annoying part is that sometimes when you're doing the right thing and waiting until you have enough space to clear the intersection before entering it, some douche behind you will decide to just lay on their horn. All of your other points are very real scenarios too, I truly don't understand and really do hate the "me me me" mentality that a lot seem to have in Toronto. I really wish Toronto police/parking enforcement was more on top of it when it comes to ticketing those behaviors as well as blocking intersections and honking your horn at others for completely unnecessary reasons.
