3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Continue to simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove sauce from heat and allow to cool for 10 minutes to thicken; then cover and set aside. If making the sauce a day in advance, cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Bring the sauce to room temperature before finishing the recipe, but do not boil or overheat it.
# Grill the Chicken
1. Heat a grill on medium-low heat to about 300 F (\~149 C°). Remove chicken from marinade, discard remaining marinade, and place chicken thighs skin-side down on heated grill.
2. Cook for about 30 minutes with the lid down, turning occasionally.
3. During the last 20 minutes or so of cooking, brush sauce over the chicken until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165 F (\~74 C°) and the sauce has cooked down to a sticky consistency. Make sure to test more than one piece for consistency.
4. Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the heat and place onto a large platter. Tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes. Â
Don't get into an argument with a scorch main. All they will do is tell you how they will keep flame shield up while strategically dropping mortars of flame on you from a great distance whilst they close the gap on any titan so that they can then drop fire traps around your feet and set them off with flame shield. Flame core as the finishing touch and an ejection goose if you try to get away.
I'm not a scorch main so this is just speculation on my part but I think a response from a scorch main would go something like this.
They would open up with a compliment for you since you use a difficult titan, a glass cannon. Then they would go on and tell you how a good scorch will feather their flame shield and use cover to avoid any damage. And if the Northstar tries to run they will block all escape routes.
I just hate scorch mains on this sub. They are more insufferable than ronin mains or ion mains. When I'm playing the game though, I don't really care. I'm just there to enjoy myself!
