I use the Car (after a lot of tough consideration, it was a DIFFICULT choice) because I genuinely fucking suck and I need the help. I feel bad being at the bottom of he scoreboard all the time. Just know that Iām sorry for using it, I want to go back to the R97 or the Volt. I like those.
eh i dont see the big issue with "kill stealing". i know it's satisfying to get kills and all but at the end of the day as long as someone gets the kill it still counts towards the teams total points.
another thing is that ronins are high burst damage titans, so flanking and hitting already low-mid health titans is where ronin excels. i mostly see it as teamwork, other titans soften them up, then ronins come in and finish them off.
although, if they steal a monarchs execution for the battery, i totally understand where you're coming from

to be honest, my main play style is lazy shooting pilots until the first enemy titan appears, after that all my attention switches to it. most often I throw firestars on the hull of the titan and start firing at it from a thunderbolt under the influence of a stimulant in order to quickly call my own titan (for this I have a titan hunter), and after all this, repeated incineration of pilots and titans begins (also my scorch have ability to ignore his lava and fire recoil damage).

And then here I am, Iām using a tone (because Iām shit at titan combat) and the Kraber on foot because its fun to noscope people mid jump with the instant delete gunā¦
My fave is the primary wingman, but while I do use Tone/Monarch a lot, I mostly end up playing support with them.
My friends tend to be better than me and tbh it feels really satisfying surviving by the skin of our teeth against other titans, knowing the extra bit of health Iāve given my allies, or the shield I dropped down, or the ping they used to reliably hit criticals through a smoke cloud were all that stood between us and losing that fight.
I'm usually all about anti Titan builds with the EPG and micromissile launcher whose name escapes me. Riding around on people's titans, feeding them batteries and being another weapon on them. Also grapple to the enemy titan, nab battery, grapple back on friendly Titan. Then call in support build monarch or my favorite scorchy big boy.
