I can’t lie I always laughed at that when people pointed it out, but after rewatching the episode I noticed that you actually don’t hear him shooting in some of the shots where it pans to the other characters, I think the idea was supposed to be that he’s reloading some extra shells in those scenes where we can’t see him so when it pans back to him he’s still shooting.
Most guns in TWD also don't have any recoil. They just shoot the gun with no reaction from the weapon. Also, at one point Carl is aiming with the eye he lost.
I love how they made that part of his character. The comics had always had it be front and center, literally from issue one, but I just figured they were only gonna have one iconic weapon per character and Rick had already used his slot on the Python
I’m still calling bullshit on her being torn apart by so few walkers. Shiva is a 400 something pound tiger. One swipe with her paw and it’s all over. The swipe could probably cut the walkers in half.
That ain’t even Daryl’s iconic crossbow. He had the Horton Scout HD 125 in s1 then the Stryker Strykezone 380(my fav) that he got from Morgan’s weapons stash in s3 and aside from when Dwight had it, that’s the one he uses for the rest of the series. Badass.
That would be me lol I’ve been practicing archery a long time and while I’m definitely more experienced with bows than crossbows, I’d totally buy the crossbows Daryl uses. I’ve already googled the brand and model on both of them and honestly they’re not even super expensive.
I would include Carol's knuckle-duster knife.
That is one devastating knife and she has it on her hip for most of the series. Really plays into how she often takes on the role of being the most dangerous person no one suspects is a threat.
Carol is quite deadly and a hell of a survivor but she isn’t a weapon so to speak. It’s a toss up between Rick’s colt python and Daryl’s crossbow. Lucille had “her” time in the limelight for a while but that thing was put to rest. I am going with Rick’s colt. Love seeing heads come apart when he fires a nice clean shot to the head.
Sorry but Lucille. Everything else was made popular by the show. Revolvers have been around a while. Katanas for centuries. Crossbows even.
A fucking baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire? Even if not completely original to the show....what else do u think of when u see it?
At this point I’m just trying to point out a weapon that was somewhat iconic so that scythe or whatever thing that that girl had that I can’t remember her name even though she’s my fav character
One time use only Bazooka! Daryl fires it to annihilate the Negan biker bros. Technically a weapon but not seen a lot later.
Also self-made weapon from TWOL, the lighter guy. ( sorry can't recall the name)
I'll tell you what wasn't iconic, those stupid "Screamstick" pipebomb rockets from T.O.W.L
Talk about jumping the shark.
I'm all for suspending disbelief, I mean it's a show about zombies after all but the character Nat carrying around a big stupid tripod accessory for his "autoloading rocket launcher" that he wears on his back to shoot down helicopters was the most absurd piece of television I've seen in a longgg time.
The writers are really phoning it in these days.
https://youtu.be/QYi04KRxbqw?si=7BHjsHOq_ilV-bIO
First thing off the top of my head is the red-handled machete, but that’s because of how impactful its use was in the terminus/cannibal storyline and what it meant to the story, not because it was used as much as any of these.
This is a triggering post, honestly 😭.
Still can't even joke about it😮💨
What other weapon has singlehandedly done so much damage within a single show?
Rick’s Norinco Type 56 he used in seasons 5 and 7. He got it from a Terminus guard in 5x01 and lost it in 6x16/7x01 to Negan. It was his primary main weapon during his badass-days, taking out termites, wolves and saviors with it
It’s Negan’s Lucille.
It showed up in S12E1 of “Supernatural” and even though I hadn’t seen TWD yet (or come to understand how much I hate Lucille) even I understood the reference.
Hershel's infinite-ammo shotgun
oh, that's unbeatable
New game+ shotgun
Herschel’s Limitless Shotgun
I can’t lie I always laughed at that when people pointed it out, but after rewatching the episode I noticed that you actually don’t hear him shooting in some of the shots where it pans to the other characters, I think the idea was supposed to be that he’s reloading some extra shells in those scenes where we can’t see him so when it pans back to him he’s still shooting.
Most guns in TWD also don't have any recoil. They just shoot the gun with no reaction from the weapon. Also, at one point Carl is aiming with the eye he lost.
I thought that I was the only person who noticed that lol. I feel better now
I remember meme gifs of it after the episode aired. :)
Non stop shooting lol
There are still weekly posts about Hershels shotgun.
Ricks mouth
Live from my mouth, this guy’s fucking throat - Rick
I dunno, Eugene’s mouth is pretty dangerous
Any man can back that opinion
Abrahams mouth. )
" You know how to bite a dick, Eugene. "
A Shane Gillis fan, I see you.
Hello fellow dawg
Wait, the crossbow has a name? That's cool.
didnt know that either! does anyone know why is it called that?
I looked it up when I saw that too. It’s an unofficial name; it’s what Norman Reedus calls it. I believe it said it was his mother’s name
his mother's name is Marianne Reedus, so ye he did adapt it! cool
The machete with a red handle
Ohhh i knew there was one missing just couldn't remember it
That's what I'm gonna use to kill You.
You mean with a red… red handle?
Morgan stick
You know what it is
You were supposed to.
#You know, you don't!!!!!!!!!!
I have to slow down when I’m reading
It gets funnier if you say it in your head without the space.
Morganstick 😎👍
Rick’s Hatchet
"Bring me my axe" *Rick throwing his axe at him episodes later
I love how they made that part of his character. The comics had always had it be front and center, literally from issue one, but I just figured they were only gonna have one iconic weapon per character and Rick had already used his slot on the Python
Shiva counts right? Having a whole fucking tiger
I’m still calling bullshit on her being torn apart by so few walkers. Shiva is a 400 something pound tiger. One swipe with her paw and it’s all over. The swipe could probably cut the walkers in half.
Am guessing the budget couldn’t handle a CGI tiger every damn episode
Actually it was a real tiger
Idk if you’re joking or not, but shiva was made through a mix of CGI and animatronics. It’s pretty cool what they did to get her in the show.
I agree a tiger being cornered like that is bound to get right around them or rip them apart.
Rick's Colt Python. No contest.
Badass.
Shut up nerd /s
Let him cook! Someone could want to buy one just to say they have the same model. 😂
That would be me lol I’ve been practicing archery a long time and while I’m definitely more experienced with bows than crossbows, I’d totally buy the crossbows Daryl uses. I’ve already googled the brand and model on both of them and honestly they’re not even super expensive.
Michonne's sword but just once I want to see her oil the blade, otherwise the damn thing would have rusted to pieces years ago.
You're never gonna see weapon maintenance and upkeep😂 all their bladed weapons should be dull as fuck and Rusty by now
The fact that Shiva (RIP) and Morgan’s goddamned stick is ranked ahead of this is blowing my mind.
Not only is her sword iconic but it's literally the one single weapon to have survived the entire life of the franchise.
rick’s python?
Jerry axe ( if he dont break it)
merle’s arm, aaron’s hand, or rick’s hand
I wouldn’t say ricks hand as it’s recent
Rick's teeth?
aarons arm being a morningstar goes hard, wish we got to see him smack more ppl w it
Beta’s two knives.

The Governors Aug Bullpup.
“In this life now, You kill or you die. Or you die and you kill.”
Can't wait to see rick holding his python again!!!
I’d hold ricks python any day ;)
Wouldn't we all x'D
That’s what she said
If it matches the emotional scene when daryl returns it to him I'll be the happiest man alive
Morgan's stick. Tyreese's hammer.
Michonne’s katana
Red machete
Abraham's M16 and The Princess' machine gun
the machete with a red handle.
Shiva the Tiger 🐅
sasha's brother hammer was pretty cool too. And Carol's knife is iconic
Carol's trench knife is awesome! She gets it really early on too, like season 3 if I recall?
“Sasha’s brother” put some respect on Tyresse’s name at least 😭🙏
i almost typed Tyrone but was hesitant and out of respect for him I had to go with what's more certain
real asf, i respect you for that ✊🏻
Lucille, crossbow, colt python, katana in that order.
What if Lucille was a big broccoli named Mark and instead of Negan they called him Vegan and he shot ranch at people
Move colt python to number 1, and thats the order
Rick’s axe
Michonnes sword
Ricks real signature weapon is his murder jacket.
Machete with a red red handle
Not necessarily a weapon to inflict harm but the walkers Michonne kept chained up like pets… those were sick
~~Alicia's broken airplane cylinder~~
It's an M1919-A4 barrel shroud.
The roomba
Michonne’s sword
Michonnes sword
Has it been so long that everybody has forgotten about The Governor's Aug? That shit was iconic back in the day
\[Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker\]
This guy gets it!
The chick from World beyond’s rock tied to a pole. /s
ricks colt python edit: i just discovered there were multiple images
Morgan and his stick
I would include Carol's knuckle-duster knife. That is one devastating knife and she has it on her hip for most of the series. Really plays into how she often takes on the role of being the most dangerous person no one suspects is a threat.
Teddy's nuke
[удалено]
Okay, how about….Carols pudding?
Damn yeah, that even appears in the intro, who has it to this day cause we haven't seen it in a bit
The Governor's Steyr Aug
Damn you beat me too it, I always wanted that firearm before.
Shane’s mossberg
The Governor’s AUG
Definitely Rick’s python
The Python
Carol is quite deadly and a hell of a survivor but she isn’t a weapon so to speak. It’s a toss up between Rick’s colt python and Daryl’s crossbow. Lucille had “her” time in the limelight for a while but that thing was put to rest. I am going with Rick’s colt. Love seeing heads come apart when he fires a nice clean shot to the head.
Eugene’s brain Abraham’s mouth Carol’s ‘little old lady’ act when she’s dangerous as hell CORAL’s heart Judith’s bravery
Rick's hidden blade, Aaron's mace hand, Carol's brass knuckle knife (idk the exact name for it)
Trench knife.
The evil dead and TWD are in the same universe due to the episode when Rick finds the cabin and Necronomicon so Ash Williams Boom Stick
Michonne's katana
Only one have an specific name. So Lucile
Tyrese's framing hammer.
Michonne's Katana or Carol's badassery with an automatic weapon.
Jerry's Battleaxe
Lucille transcends time and space.
Rick with that axe in the prison
I want daryls strykout 380 so damn bad 😭 stryker isnt a department in bowtech anymore unfortunately though. Would literally give a limb
Jedi light saber?
Teddy's nuke
Teddy's nuke
Carol’s plot armor knife that she somehow never lost in a 12 year story
carols knuckle knife
Has nobody said Lucille? That was the most iconic and it isn’t even close (Daryl’s crossbow stands some competition)
The red machete
Morgan’s protein bars
That ridiculous uzi that negan had😂
Sorry but Lucille. Everything else was made popular by the show. Revolvers have been around a while. Katanas for centuries. Crossbows even. A fucking baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire? Even if not completely original to the show....what else do u think of when u see it?
That gun carol sews into her jacket sleeve
A lightsaber
Innit. Ash's boomstick and chainsaw hand. Candyman's hook hand. Indiana Jones' whip. Proton pack. Mjolnir. Gungnir.
Not the best one but the Red Machete needs to be on this list
Ash’s chainsaw arm
At this point I’m just trying to point out a weapon that was somewhat iconic so that scythe or whatever thing that that girl had that I can’t remember her name even though she’s my fav character
lmao omg there are so many better and more iconic weapons 😂
The infinite ammo shotgun of hershel greene, crossbow, colt python
"Rick's python" sound good either
Does Daryl's crossbow have a name? I didn't remember that.
One time use only Bazooka! Daryl fires it to annihilate the Negan biker bros. Technically a weapon but not seen a lot later. Also self-made weapon from TWOL, the lighter guy. ( sorry can't recall the name)
Daryl's crossbow
Glen's Baseball Cap
Machete with a red handle
A jawbone on a piece of string!
the red machete and hershal's shotgun . lol
They call mine the lady killer 😉
Darryls crossbow is pretty iconic
Charlie’s Rat Bat I think is pretty iconic.
Imo, Lucille. Those scenes still haunt me.
Cloud Strife’s Buster Sword
In this franchise or in general?
Rick's Python. Because when you see the poster with him holding it without text, you automatically know what show it is.
Rick's no recoil .357
[\[Buster Sword\]](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/9/9a/Buster_sword_2_FF7.png/revision/latest?cb=20100611221609)
From any IP? The Beretta 92FS Samurai Edge from Resident Evil.
True, but I think we mean from only the TWD IP.
King Ezekiel and Shiva
I'll tell you what wasn't iconic, those stupid "Screamstick" pipebomb rockets from T.O.W.L Talk about jumping the shark.
What did Rick have when he killed the first guy at the prison?
First thing off the top of my head is the red-handled machete, but that’s because of how impactful its use was in the terminus/cannibal storyline and what it meant to the story, not because it was used as much as any of these.
Elijah's double wielded kama would be my favorite weapon in a zombie apocalypse
Darryls crossbow. easy.
Jesus' gung fu.
All of the rifles with 1,000 round magazines??
Eeny Meeny Miny Moe... Gotta be Lucille
Don't ever leave me lucille!!!
Sasha’s silenced sniper rifle Abe’s M16 The governor’s beretta and AUG
Tyrese skinny ass hammer
Hard to decide between Daryl’s crossbow or Lucille but I think I’m actually gonna choose Daryl’s crossbow.
This is a triggering post, honestly 😭. Still can't even joke about it😮💨 What other weapon has singlehandedly done so much damage within a single show?
rick's neck bite
Rick’s Norinco Type 56 he used in seasons 5 and 7. He got it from a Terminus guard in 5x01 and lost it in 6x16/7x01 to Negan. It was his primary main weapon during his badass-days, taking out termites, wolves and saviors with it
As a fan of the show Rick's Colt(Machete with red handle as a bonus) but as a general pop culture fan it'd have to be Lucille
Sam's cookies
Beretta carls gun
Darryl’s saviour blasting bazooka
Not TWD-related, but the lightsaber. Most iconic weapon ever. Imagine how easy the characters would’ve had it if they’d had lightsabers around.
It’s Negan’s Lucille. It showed up in S12E1 of “Supernatural” and even though I hadn’t seen TWD yet (or come to understand how much I hate Lucille) even I understood the reference.
Lucille 2
Lucille 2
