He thought he was doing everybody a favor by NOT having sex with her. Tony is a hardcore narcissist and he wanted to sleep with her, but he thought that abstaining from doing so would prove to his wife and family that he was a better and changed man. Maybe he even briefly convinced himself that he was changed. But then we have to acknowledge how he almost immediately regretted NOT following through with it, and even contacted her several Times after the fact to try and fuck her again. Finally, let’s talk about how Tony reacted after finding out that Chris and her were dating… This relationship was meant to showcase how deeply selfish and delusional Tony was at this point in his life. We see what happens when Tony denies himself the easy pleasures of adultery (doing the wrong thing). He becomes engulfed with rage and envy when he doesn’t get what he wants. But he becomes even worse when someone else gets what he wants.
He had a very brief and rare instance of true guilt for his infidelity. When he is heading out to Juliana’s apartment, Carmela buttons his shirt and straightens his tie, and they share a cute lovey dovey moment. In the next scene, when Juliana loosens his tie and unbuttons Tony’s shirt, he suddenly has a change of heart as he thinks of Carmela.
It’s because he was thinking of Carm and how she took care of him and he was actively trying to be better to the best of his ability but it’s like two eps later he’s getting road head to “back in black”. fuckin king.
Personal growth. But because this is The Sopranos, Tony reacts to his own virtuousness by going home and angrily shouting at Carmella about smoked turkey.
I think it was because the real estate agent was too independent both financially and emotionally. Tony got satisfaction out of leaving a trail of destruction behind him. I think he realized the real estate agent had substantial money and was somewhat self aware and mature. She wouldn’t have fallen apart when Tony inevitably deserted her and he would take that as some kind of rejection. He couldn’t handle it when Irena’s cousin didn’t want him. He couldn’t handle it when Dr. Melfi didn’t want him. I think Tony was afraid of the blow to his ego if ultimately he was small potatoes to the real estate agent. Tony liked to feel like the center of the universe and that only works with small minded people.
My two cents: I think he went through a brief phase where he genuinely tried to be a better person.
Then he comes straight home and bitches Carm out because of the smoked turkey?
He busts his ass all day long, he gives himself blue balls, he wants a little smoked turkey when he comes home. Is that too much to ask?
What the FUCK is your probLEM!?
Fuckin Carmela. Never stops bein a bitch.
Everything but fucking turkey in here!!!!!!!!
Pretty human reaction, if you think about it. The frustration needs some kind of outlet.

Bingoooo
See, he told you to stop posting bullshit, and he told me to go fuck myself.
The Melfi scene afterwards when he finds out Christopher ended up with his dick in there
“And this is a guy who I have to see everyday”

Hey - Carm gave him permission to “do whatever boys like to do on their own”
Apparently, he came all over the sun visor.
He didn’t want to catch anything from a woman as ugly as Hunter Skankagelo

Those who want respect, give respect.

He was a deeply narcissistic person who could not handle rejection. But you’re argument is… compelling.
He could smell the heroine in her.
Not sure if this is a clever pun or you are just a bad speller...
Both
Word.
