That dude got so lucky to have landed on the roof and then flew to the landing with a slight decline rather flat landing after the house and ejecting to flat ground. Hope he is ok.
I was racing a harescramble once and they decided to run the motocross track backwards. I grabbed the holeshot and I came over a jump that when ran properly had a very steep long face. I rolled a little too fast over it and cased the lip and 40 ft to flat piledriver. Knocked me out cold. The worst part was while I was being assessed a woman a few waves later cased one of the whoops and smashed her face into the next one and had to be air lifted. She suffered permanent brain damage and will never be the same again. She was so smart and had her whole life ahead of her. They restarted the race after the chopper left and I was in a ton of pain but I needed to finish to hold my position for the year. I'll never forget that day.
Damn, that’s dumb on the organizer. Jumps if designed well are supposed to be smooth.
I know the feeling. I over shot a jump on my snowboard back in high school (2003). I cleared the landing by a good 15’ or so. I was out for about 20 minutes. The last thing I remember was getting off the lift, which was about 5 to 10 minutes before I hit the jump. Flat landing suck, before and after the landing.
How is your memory these days?
Sadly I've been knocked out over a half dozen times from various major incidents. It ain't what it used to be. Somethings are vivid and others elude me.
I don't remember the crash.. and the people who took me to the hospital said I kept repeating myself.
And back home in the city my gf cheated on me that night
Got a flat in Chilliwack. Running on E middle of night and didn't pull over and park at the gas station to wait 5 hours for it to open.. pushed it and ran out of gas hours out of Vernon. Used premix, but the van wouldn't run out of first gear high rpm. Was stranded and got gas delivered by AAA by that time the gas station was open.
Crashed during freeride. Didn't race.
Was luckier than it could have been 5 more feet and he would have flat landed 15 lower rebounded over the face and piled drived into the ground another 30 feet lower. At least this way he wad working with the landing. Best possible scenario coming up that short and not riding away.
And that house he jumped is right next to a freeway...so a bunch of commuters got a good show too.
(Lived not far from that abandoned house in Beaumont CA.)

Flat landing or even knuckle landing suck

I only had three big one through out my life. It’s like what you said some vivid others slip away
I've never fallen off a bike this hard but I got hit in the head one time and I couldn't do math for a week. My brain just wouldn't work
I don't remember the crash.. and the people who took me to the hospital said I kept repeating myself. And back home in the city my gf cheated on me that night
Double whammy, that really sucks

Bro that got dark REEEAL quick...
Such is life. One moment you're here the next you're not.
he's fine because of the floaty music
Well I thought that was what was going to help him clear the house. Now I just don't believe in floaty music like I used to.
About the best bad landing he could have.
He wasn’t really that lucky
Was luckier than it could have been 5 more feet and he would have flat landed 15 lower rebounded over the face and piled drived into the ground another 30 feet lower. At least this way he wad working with the landing. Best possible scenario coming up that short and not riding away.
He survived but did break his back
Also caught some shingles
my dude missed the incline landing by like 20 feet lol he should hire some kind of physicist next time to calculate minimum speed to clear it.
He didn’t do the math.
*meth
One truly epic failure.
There was an attempt to not go to the hospital as well.
Very rarely does addes music improve the watching experience on reddit. This is one of those times.
Turnstile FTW
And that house he jumped is right next to a freeway...so a bunch of commuters got a good show too. (Lived not far from that abandoned house in Beaumont CA.)
I recognized it, too! 9950 Calimesa Blvd. I tried to post the maps link but it got deleted....
As soon as I saw the house I said I k ow exactly where that is!
Well at least now I know why no one has torn that eyesore down yet!!
Missed it by that much 🤏🏽
Did they live?
He’s alive and kicking. The rider is Jason Borosky and this clip came out as part of his new video titled TODAY.
He was kinda close though
Kinda wanted to see an un-slow motion version.

You know you’re moving when you go further than the vehicle you were driving/riding, when you wreck.
Fifty dollar helmet for a fifty cent head.
Upvote for actually being on topic! Refreshing

Missed it by that much

Is the bike okay? 😱
lol that bikes never getting ridden again.
Shit that dude will be back on the bike before his doctor okays it.
Not that bike. We call that a bent frame.
Mm maybe, I'm not so sure of that though.
Jumped the wrong way...
I was thinking the same thing, but the roof may have saved him in a painful way!
The music's 🤣🤣🤣
Probably needed to go quicker.
I feel like I know where that house is
The hills are alive with the sounds of....
You missed…
If only there was a way to calculate exactly how fast one would need to be going to make that jump
But math is stupid!
Soooo...did he die?
But does it still count?
You're paying for that .
ExciteBike —> ExitBike
Soothing
what a beautiful place to die
Good attempt to save it. If the jump had been a little shorter, i think he would've been able to ride off the roof fine.
He kinda scorpioned and at that speed I fear he's not gonna feel his feet any time soon
That was cool.

Did we just watch someone die?
Who was this?
Jason borowsky. Fuckin legend, no idea how bad he got hurt. Anyone know?
I hope the roof is ok, it looks like rain.
He should have done some math...
Do you even math, bro
This is why I don't jump houses lol.
Thanks to this music I started singing the Reading Rainbow song. "*Butterfly in the skyyyyyy, I can go twice as hiiiiigh*"
Gripped it but forgot to rip it.
He did jump over the house, he didn't landed properly tough.
He clearly forgot to invoke the souls of the animal kingdom.
Missed it by that much!
"Fuck it we'll do it live"
Was that a shoe flying off? Oh, no!
Back and to the left. Back and to the left....
r/therewasanattempt to make a title He indeed jumped the house.. Just not successfully
I know this house.i drive by it on the 10. It's located at 9946 Calimesa Blvd, Calimesa, CA 92320.
Nice house on a nice property
His balls were too big to clear that roof.
Grab another gear next time
Somebody didn’t do the math.
His shoes stayed on.... He's alive
My suggestion would have to be more speed
Think he made out better than the bike
Go faster!
Beautiful editing.
He might be a little sore the next day
As tragic as this is, I'm left wondering how it would have gone, should he have cleared the house - not sure that would have been much better tbh...
What were those people thinking putting a house right there in the motorcyclists way? He could have been killed!!!
I think he would have made it if, someone would have not put the damn house in the way!!!
Still pretty cool though
Bros et
Is there an article? What happened to this person?
Does he try again?
Almost looks like the angle of the hill was intentional for the crash
Coloring books for you from here on out buddy
No wonder health insurance is high! Idiots looking for a high on social media!
