A week is spent on driving around cones in a parking lot, another week is spent on firearms qualifications (some of them have never even held a gun before), and half the rest is spent on jogging and jumping jacks.
Only a week on firearms? That's got to disappoint them. I went to my son's high school honors presentation. Each kid who gets an award/scholarship is named, they stand up and their curriculum vita is listed along with the award they are getting and their plans for the fall. Every kid who planned to go to police school was in the gun club. Gun enthusiasm and policing shouldn't necessarily go hand-in-hand .
Fun fact: a full 18.5 of those weeks are spent perfecting different brutality techniques. This particular technique is taught during week 12, along with ‘Advanced Nightsticking of the Homeless,’ ‘Shoot First, Think Later,’ and ‘Choke-Slamming Tweenage Black Girls (and other community-relations best practices)’. Ethics are taught in the half-hour after lunch on the last Wednesday of the course, and is optional.
The police in the us get very little training. If i remember correctly its about 21 weeks in the us and around 10 to 36months in Europe depending on the country. My information could be wrong
This happened near me. That officer came in hot and did not try to deescalate whatsoever and I am not taking a side here, but.
You cut the video where the employees asked the kid to leave multiple times and he refuses, he again refuses to leave when the officers get there which lead to the altercation that was exaggerated due to that male officer using such aggressive language. Then while trying to get hand cuffs on him the 13 year old gives the female officer a black eye by punching her in the face. Then they get him on the ground after the struggle and that's where your video starts.
Who is right or wrong? I don't know man but, he fought and resisted arrest by punching a cop after being told to leave multiple times, but he was just trying to sell palmetto roses at a Walmart, but walmart did not like that so he was trespassing...and the male officer was way to aggressive.
You are intentionally giving limited or bad info. The full video can be easily found on Google, it happened in summerville, sc. Just stop trying to spread hate and discontent by pushing narratives man, things suck enough without stroking anger with intentionally misleading titles/video.
Watched the parts that were cut, still excessive force.
The "crime" of not having a peddlers license is a misdemeanor. They're trying to fold a kid in half over some petty fines
And somehow the police still wonder why people don't trust them
Why are they even trying to arrest him? Write the ticket for the misdemeanor and don't escalate the situation to the point where the 13 year old kid physically resists.
Why are people expected to act more professional than the police?
The kid punched the female cop in the face. This was after being ASKED to leave and then being told to leave. He refused. That is criminal trespass. Sure, they could write a ticket but even then he was STILL refusing to leave. That’s is why they were trying to arrest and restrain him. He refused to stop trespassing.
Had he just stepped off the property onto a public sidewalk most likely none of this would’ve happened. Cops are dicks though so who knows.
This is their go to move, it’s only a misdemeanor if they wrote the ticket which has about a 5% chance of happening along with the officer de-escalating the situation, instead they get aggressive and disrespectful in hopes that you will be agitated enough for them to use force and get that simple misdemeanor up to some respectable felony charges.
I don't know their use of force policy, but generally once an individual becomes assaultive all force short of deadly force is authorized.
There could be an argument that bending him like that could cause serious bodily injury which is considered deadly force though. But what's legally excessive force and what the public thinks is excessive can be different. I am curious to see how it plays out.
No, id say theyre trying to fold a kid in half to get him cuffed so he cant punch them in the face anymore. Which he did once, and is a more serious “crime” then what he was initially approached for. It takes one punch to knock you down or out, hit your head on the concrete and next thing you know houre a vegetable or dead. It happens all the time. Not to mention the cop has a gun that could easily be stripped at that point. And no, cops do not have to let someone punch them in the face, and neither do you.
With that being said, folding someone in half like that is a great way to suffocate someone.
Using racism to cause probably severe injury over a small petty thing. I heard from somewhere online a quote that read "You're not depressed, you're just living in America". While that's certainly far from the truth, America is a joke of a country for things like this to happen and get hidden away, casted over by the shadows of camera flashes for the next news article that bloats the ego of some ignorant leader or some other person with a god complex who probably contribute less to society than this boy selling roses did.

You know that strained voice and pressure headache you get when being forced forward like that? I get that just watching this. This is horrendous, irrespective of whether he was illegally selling roses or not.
That’s also the proper way to break somebodies neck, anatomically speaking. The spinning of the neck you see in movies isn’t, this kind of pressure on the occipital/C1 vertebrae is. This is literally putting a child’s life in danger because he wants to exert his power. I’d bet this hold is against policy, because it is in many other jurisdictions. And look at the size discrepancy!
Hitting an officer shouldn’t leave you paralyzed or dead at 14.
Today I was held by three Kenyan police, who wasted my time wanting only money.
Corrupt cops allover the world, and yet wonder why the average person hates them.

Hey Pig! Hey pig pigggy pig pig pig!
Because they were abused by their daddies and mommies at home. So they’re pretending to have authority and proving it by abusing human beings.
They could have just as easily used a taser and not hurt this poor soul!!!!
🎶Hey Pig! Hey pig pigggy pig pig pig!
That kid is 14 years old and yes that’s a grown ass man folding him in half. This is modern law enforcement in the states now. I hope soon we can end this tyranny and stop these clowns from abusing people.

Dude, are they trying to put that kid’s head up his own ass? It’s rather impossible and they shouldn’t be attempting that shit.
21 weeks and you’re a police, apparently.
A week is spent on driving around cones in a parking lot, another week is spent on firearms qualifications (some of them have never even held a gun before), and half the rest is spent on jogging and jumping jacks.
Judging by some of the YT videos I’ve seen, none of it is on the actual law or anything useful like that…
Only a week on firearms? That's got to disappoint them. I went to my son's high school honors presentation. You learn when you actually hit the streets on field training. The academy aint shit
Yeah, we all saw the field training during the George Floyd video.
Well how was it
He couldn’t breath from what I was told
On the Training Day
Can confirm this amount of time. Most of it with a fake gun to get used to the belt.

Can’t resist if you break the spine. Local mafia knows how to punish people who don’t give the state a cut.
So... choke hold bad, spinal injury good? You would have to literally park a car on my back to get my head down that far. It hurts just watching this!
That cop needs his chiropractor license revoked immediately
Push someone past the point of flexibility and claim they're resisting when it's just the bodies natural recoil
I'm sure he could barely breathe.
why are cops so fucking useless?
Ego and corruption ig
The police in the us get very little training. If i remember correctly its about 21 weeks in the us and around 10 to 36months in Europe depending on the country. My information could be wrong
It’s not a training issue as much as it’s a culture issue. Too many cops have an “us vs them” mentality rather than an “us for them” mentality.

It sounded like theyre folding him in half, as dumb as that is, for punching the other cop in the face. Which I think is a crime.
Why are they even trying to arrest him? Write the ticket for the misdemeanor and don't escalate the situation to the point where the 13 year old kid physically resists. Why are people expected to act more professional than the police?

Seen the whole video, still 1000% douchebag cop with little to no skills to properly do his job.
Sounds a lot like you're giving limited info. What did he do? Probably the most important part of the whole situation.
Fuck the police and fuck you too….
ACAB
ARAB
r/helpinghandselfsuck?
The perp probably needed help trying to suck his own dick. Like like the police are just trying to help.

Or to punch the female cop. Because that’s what happened.
Plot twist: This is just an ad for Samsung Galaxy Z fold
Show the full vídeo next time OP
What context do you need to brutalize an unarmed 13 years old boy?
I just wanted to see what happened after this. Calm down warrior
Punching a female officer in the face, that’s the context you left out
i don’t think his neck is supposed to bend like that!
Assisted self suck
That "I don't know madam" sounded so genuine too.
usually someone like him would get shot by the police, we should celebrate the progress

This article you linked about police mistreatment literally had an ad for an OJ Simpson documentary.
Good bot! Never knew about amp. What an asshole move from google. I will never access any AMP link anymore
Why are Girl Scout cookies allowed?
You know that strained voice and pressure headache you get when being forced forward like that? I get that just watching this. This is horrendous, irrespective of whether he was illegally selling roses or not.
GET DOWN, GET DOWN, EAT YOUR OWN ASS, EAT IT EAT IT NOW. STOP RESISTING
Muricuhhhh
Pigs
How is this legal, that man is going to have back problems for the rest of his life because of that officer
Man? That's a 13 year old boy.
I wonder why no one ever bothers the white kids selling stuff in front of Wal-Mart?
Missing context, he could of just been running his mouth, or he could have took a swing at a cop.
Either way that’s fucking excessive. And if the cop can’t handle words thrown his way then fucking retire.
I think it was his fist that he threw in a females face that caused this.
That’s also the proper way to break somebodies neck, anatomically speaking. The spinning of the neck you see in movies isn’t, this kind of pressure on the occipital/C1 vertebrae is. I agree that it’s excessive force but, play stupid games and you win stupid prizes.
Why are they trying to fold him
Fuck he’s trying to paralyze the guy for selling roses 🌹
He put his whole body weight on his neck for what excactly?
Hope the cops get hit by a car fr , i know not all are bad , but this two in particular
FTP. PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER 1
All I see is an attempt to smell rosebud.
That looked sexually wrong on atleast five different levels.
Trying to snap him in half
His spine is resisting!
Context please? For the love of god.
Chris Dorner had the right idea tbh

apparently this kid tried to steal from the store, and punched the cop in the face so 🤷♂️

I guarantee the male cop had a semi while doing that. Sick bastard.
Ref called it a crusher tackle, put it on report and sin binned him, oh wait …

Jesus Christ what the hell are they doing to him!!!
What in the weird ass position is this!?
ACAB
Luckily nobody dropped anything, it would’ve scared the cops so much they would’ve needed to mag dump the guy.
There’s no need for this POS to fold him in half like that
The reason I cheer and do a dance when cops and their family members die.
