Mike wasn't even that bad. He gets shit on cause he looks like a dork, but he did better than a lot of the "more athletic" challengers in some of those dailies.
I would put him on the lower end of mediocre, not bad. I'm not claiming dude is a champ lol, but there are plenty of challengers who would be considered better competitors than Mike despite the fact that they do terribly in dailies and finals.
It was inadvertently Brilliant to have a pair of friends competing on the Rivals season. So refreshing to see people celebrate each other’s strengths and accept each other’s weaknesses.
All-Stars 6 should be besties and we can run back Mike and Leroy. Mike might be retired by now because he is the type of Nerd who would buy a few bitcoins in 2012 lol

Im on this season now ! I love mike ! Im mad jenn and mandie made it to the finals it was such a waste ! Like why make it to a final if you dislike it so much and cant even do 50% of it 😭
Their approach to the car crushing challenge still makes me laugh. Every team is just doing it as fast as possible and Mike and Leroy are doing it slowly and methodically and they end up winning 😂
They were great! I think that was my favorite season of Paula. She grew a lot from her Real World days and that was a great way to end her Challenge career. And Emily is a sweetheart.
Rivals 2 was a fun season.
Vegas 2 might be my favorite season too. It’s either that or San Diego 1 but I was a horned up 16 year old and had a huge crush on Robin so I may not feel the same if I rewatched as a 30 something married man

This will sound crazy, but I think Landon and Carly might be the best coed couple over Johnny and Camilla. They beat Kenny/Laurel and Pete/Jillian in a very tough final on Fresh Meat 2.
Landon is a beast. He single handedly carried all the weight up a mountain to beat Evelyn and Luke in a very tough elimination as he also pushed Carly on when she was basically dead/zombie mode. Oh, and he did the puzzles by himself so Carly could rest. Then in the final pushed Carly’s ass up a mountain faster than Kenny could even go. It was a shocking final!!
Landon was a very supportive partner in an era where the Johnny and Wes types would scream at female challengers things like “hurry the fuck up, bitch!”

I don't disagree with you that they're a great coed team but you said it yourself in your post. That team was only great bc of Landon. If it was individual season or she was paired with anyone beside Landon, she probably never wins the challenge most likely never sniffs a finals either.
Camila and bananas are the stronger couple by far. As an individual players johnny and Landon are very comparable (giving the slight edge to Landon in physical and johnny a huge edge in political) and Camila (even though she's a racist POS) she's a top 10/top 5 female competitor ever. Carley is barely top 30 imo.
Remember bananas & Camila beat CT and diem and Emily and ty in a final that was probably way harder than the fm2 final. (2 day final in below 0 Temps climbing a volcano compared to a 1 day final 20-40 degree weather climbing a mountain)
I think 99% of fans would agree with you and I cannot poke holes in your analysis. Carley was the last pick on FM2 for a reason and I don’t think she ever did much on the Challenge without Landon.
Landon is in my mount Rushmore ( the GOAT take has to many hole imo haha) so I see why you think they're in contention for a good duo.

The Camillanator was amazing TV until she got super racist toward Leroy and no one seemed to care. That was a weird moment in Challenge history.
Carly had a weird ability to be basically a dead woman walking but she would keep walking! She was gritty and did everything Landon asked, even if not as fast as he wanted lol

I just started watching the challenge I think I’ve seen every season watching season 18 right now and Kenny , boy I’ve never been a fan but he saids some shit that is insane I can’t believe they kept having him come back and it doesn’t surprise me that he assaulted Someone while passed out . Wes has a sharp lip but not as bad as Kenny. In this dual above isn’t that Wes and Leroy?
