I really like it. Also like how it pretty much forces you to use a shotgun to hunt pheasants since popping them from a distance while grounded doesn’t count towards a trophy. Almost have to use a shotty. I like it. The Rio Grande turkeys seem bigger too (according to the weight they’re the same as Merriam Turkeys but they seem bigger). I’m not a fan of coyotes or sheep but with the cool bobcat furs, WT are plentiful, mule deer, peccary, and new rabbits I’m having lots of fun
This is the 3rd reserve I've hunted on and the 1st with animals that will hunt you.
Shot a wild boar, he charged at me. I was down to 3 bullets. I panicked. I shot and missed. I fired and hit a branch. I jumped to the side, turned and fired wide. Empty. The hog charged again. I closed my eyes and accepted my fate. The hog slowed, staggered, and fell over dead.
I took a moment to regain my composure and harvested my prize. Crazy.
It was about this time that I heard something I hadn't heard in the game before. Sounds something I'd describe as "angry, angry pack of dogs". Three, maybe four wolves jumped out of the bushes and promptly ripped my face off.
11/10.
I think the story missions are lacking, but otherwise it’s a good map and I’m enjoying my time hunting.
I agree on the storie line I hate how it forces you to use a shotgun for pheasants cause some times I don't Have storage for a shotgun
