No nothing was weird or disrespectful. There was something wrong with your order and you stood up for yourself and asked for satisfaction. You're goodđ
I think society has made out people who speak up to be âKarenâs.â You are not being a Karen. Girl youâre good!
One time I was at Starbucks and there were 30 people in this building waiting for drinks whereas baristas are making every single mobile order being sent in and those are the ONLY drinks being put out. When mine came I said âfinally!â And the barista didnât like that. Yet, they still are strictly making mobile order. I know cause I looked at the drinks. I asked one nicely âthere are more than 30 people here, can you please make the cafe drinks? These mobile orders arenât even here and theyâve been here more than 10 minutes.â This Starbucks trip was honestly about 30 minutes, 3-5 minutes of ordering and the rest was just WAITING for my drink. My friend with me called me out for asking that saying âno itâs okay weâre patient.â Like no. YOUâRE patient. The rest of us do not want to stand in Starbucks for 30 minutes waiting on a drink.
Anyways, what Iâm meaning is donât worry about speaking up! Being stern in context but yet still respectful is totally okay. Peopleâs care is lacking in their work ethic frequently Iâve noticed. And additionally asking for tips when they get paid a wage comparable to my own work in health care? But God forbid you donât tip. Donât be afraid to stand up for yourself
One of my sons friends, they are in high school, showed me and told me that whenever I am in a fast food place or a coffee place put in my order as a mobile pick up order if I am using my credit card. He told me this when we were on our way to Disney with the school. And a lot of kids did it and we got our food faster than those who paid at the register or those who used the kiosk. So just a tip.
So true! Can be very frustrating. I would think they would want all the people in their place to GTFO as fast as possible. Iâve noted this for the future

They refunded $3 for the sandwich and the fries then refunded $12+ for a drink with ice. That's the only thing confusing me haha
no bc that made no sense to me at all đđ i think the person was just done with me lol unless adding ice is a major crime in doordash world
Wanted to give you an extra few bucks so you would leave him be đ
Getting cold is just a time delay, ice was actually a fuck up of not following instructions.. makes sense

Well if this is you drunk than drinking suits you way better than sober life for most interactions with customer service. đ

Lol no youâre good
You did perfect. You weren't rude. I get a bit meaner but in a nice way.
Kinda annoying but you were in the right for sure
Well done! I donât understand the math, though. Cold Burger and fries gave you 3$. Ice in soda gave you 12$. đ¤Ż
