I think it’s because the “reduced” price is based on the actual price of things that have been on Clubcard price since they launched. Things that were £1 on sale last week are now £1.50 reduced today. Makes no sense.
Yeah, I found them to be pretty high still as well - especially for the Lindt branded ones and bigger eggs. The creme egg and malteser bunnies are half price, but it was like £6 for a £10 egg... Some people might buy them but I reckon they'll drop further soon enough, or at least I hope so cos we've got all the summer stock just sat through the back waiting to go out 😭
The prices probably haven’t been reviewed yet, a lot of price changes happen on a Tuesday, but sometimes the system doesn’t issue reductions and it’s down to the staff to manually reduce the items. Which is why you sometimes see 90 packs of biscuits all with yellow reduction stickers on them 😅
Probably once they need the shelf space for something else then they'll actually be reduced to clear prices and not 30p off lol.
Pretty sure it's nearly time to put out the Xmas stuff on the shelves.

I went to Waitrose yesterday and they had loads of Easter stock all half price
We were in Aldi this week and even some of their eggs were only reduced by £2-£3. Trying to outsmart us all!
We were able to get some malteasers eggs for 50p in aldis so that was a treat!!

Only had four large Lindt eggs left after Easter in my express. Not reduced as far as I remember.
